In recent years, high gain step-up circuits with low ripple output voltage have been invented. Step-up converters with a high gain are used to connect solar panels with DC loads. The High Gain Step-up Converter (HGSUC) provides an effective interface between the DC supply and the demand. It is used to control the voltage of loads. Ripple voltage control may be improved by using a variety of filters. Switched and coupled inductor make up the HGSUC. The simulations of HGSUC with PI and cascade filters are compared with the obtained findings. Renewable energy sources would benefit greatly from the breakthrough super-boost converter described in this study. The suggested converter uses switching capacitors and two linked inductors to obtain the required output voltage. This combination may cause a substantial voltage increase while operating at a low duty cycle. One or two DC voltage sources may be employed to power the converter. As a multi-port converter, it may be utilised The input sources will live longer thanks to the proposed converter's low power losses, which are the result of the input current not pulsing and the major switches not being subjected to excessive voltage stress. The suggested HGSUC converter has been shown to be viable by the results of a thorough analysis and simulation. © 2022 IEEE.

The future demand for high efficiency solar cell necessitates a breakthrough in development of multi-junction cells. Presently, single junction solar cells dominate the market due to the high production expenses associated with multi-junction variants. This study demonstrates growth and characterization of a new ternary material system of CSiSn that holds promise for fabricating high-efficiency multi-junction solar cells on a Si substrate. © 2024 IEEE.

In this work, a high-performance multioperation bit-manipulator is presented. The presented electro-optical design can perform several bit-manipulations such as bidirectional bit-shifting, bit-rotation, multiply-by-2 and divide-by-2, and sequence designing operation. The technique relies on the electrooptic principle in lithium niobate. Lithium niobate-based waveguides have been used to design Mach–Zehnder interferometer, which is the fundamental optical switching element of the whole model. Extinction ratio, contrast ratio, and insertion loss values computed for the simulated results are 29.16 dB, 29.48 dB, and 0.77 dB, respectively. © 2024 Walter de Gruyter GmbH. All rights reserved.

Domain Tailored Large Language Models for Log Mask Prediction in Cellular Network Diagnostics

Software logs generated by dedicated network testing hardware are often complex and bear minimal similarity to natural language, requiring the expertise of engineers to understand and capture defects recorded in these logs. This manual process is inefficient and expensive for both service providers and their clients. In this study, we demonstrate the transformative potential of Artificial Intelligence (AI), specifically through domain-tailoring of Large Language Models (LLMs) like RoBERTa, BigBird, and Flan-T5, to streamline the process of defect diagnostics. Particularly, we pre-train these models ground up on a real industrial telecommunications log corpus, and perform finetuning on a multi-label classification objective. This facilitates identifying a correct set of log points to be enabled for rapid detection of defects that arise during network testing. Despite encountering several challenges such as intricate text structures, heavily skewed label distribution, and inconsistencies in historical data labelling, our tailored LLMs achieve commendable performance on previously unseen defect cases, significantly reducing the turnaround times. This research not only serves as an exemplar for adapting LLMs in telecommunications industry for automated defect diagnostics, but also has wide implications for software log analysis across various industries. © 2004-2012 IEEE.

The ease of Doubly-Fed Induction Generator (DFIG) based wind turbines is largely deployed due to their variable speed feature and hence influencing system dynamics. However, owing to grid faults, the output power fluctuation in the DFIG wind turbine system brings a major concern to power system stability. In this paper, the grid voltage and frequency stability of the wind power system investigates different cases such as DFIG and the approach of a Battery Energy Storage System (BESS). Designing of a wind turbine model including Rotor Side Controller (RSC) and Grid Side Controller (GSC) and connected to the grid. An equivalent BESS is introduced in the power system model and connected to the grid through a three-phase inverter. The BESS system is designed to stabilize the frequency at a constant value with controlled active power also;voltage is controlled by reactive power. To design the wind turbine only active power is considered in this specific work. Therefore, the system performance has improved after including BESS. The performance analysis is observed by simulation work through 'PSCAD/EMTDC' professional software, which is the most realistic and well-organized software, especially for power system analysis. © 2022 IEEE.

Automation is more important now. This article focuses on automating chicken farms using mobile communication devices and wireless sensor networks. Chicken is the world's most popular food because it contains more protein, less fat, and less cholesterol than other poultry. Chicken's nutrition is another benefit. This project utilizes the Internet of Things to monitor and adjust chicken farm environmental conditions. Temperature, moisture, water level, ammonia gas, and waste level were considered. This research aimed to improve chicken farm chick growth. The individual also monitors chicken behavior and feeding. Another usage for the sensor module is water level management and monitoring. If all sensors are connected to the microcontroller, all sensor data may be gathered. After that, a Wi-Fi module uploads the data to a website. A computer or mobile device connected to the internet allows the poultry farm owner to examine its interior surroundings. This informs the owner on agricultural conditions. This system will maintain temperature, humidity, and water level without human intervention using a DC motor, ventilation window, and co-exhaust fan. This will be done without human intervention. Devices will activate as needed when threshold values are attained. Our method allows semi-automated chicken product production and bird behavior monitoring. This allows us to deliver nutritious chicken meat while reducing bird killing. © 2024 IEEE.

A method for the lossless reduction of interface electrocardiograms (ECG) has been devised for the massive implementation of integrated circuits. The Novel approach to prediction and focuses on achieving high performance while maintaining a minimal level of complexity. This resulted in circumstances that made accurate forecasting possible through a method that solved the optimal conditions. This system provides a Very Large Scale Integration (VLSI) system that uses an effective lossless data compression technique to reduce the loss transmission rate and reduce memory size while encoding ECG data. Technology is defined as being lossless. This ability has been taken advantage of by creating a memory-less architecture that operates at a high clock rate in VLSI. The proposed compression technique aims to increase high accuracy, reduce power consumption, and reduce transfer time. Effective conditional prediction model and adaptation information for the Modified Golomb Rice Framework (MGRF) are the proposed ECG lossless compression. The proposed lossless compression has been implemented in Xilinx ISE 13.1 and Spartan 7 FPGA devices using Verilog RTL code, and it achieves the highest possible level of performance, reduces the gate size, and low power consumption. © 2023 IEEE.

Understanding and classifying dog breeds is a fascinating yet challenging task due to the vast diversity within the canine species. In this project, we present a novel approach to dog breed classification utilizing the state-of-the-art Efficient Net architecture. Leveraging a comprehensive dataset comprising 133 distinct breeds, our method aims to accurately identify and categorize each breed with high precision. Efficient Net's innovative scaling method allows us to strike a balance between model complexity and computational efficiency, enabling robust classification performance even with limited computational resources. Through meticulous preprocessing techniques and data augmentation strategies, we enhance the model's ability to generalize across diverse breed characteristics, minimizing the risk of overfitting. Our experimental results demonstrate the efficacy of the proposed approach, achieving impressive classification accuracy on the challenging dog breed dataset. We conduct extensive evaluations and comparisons with existing methodologies, showcasing the superiority of Efficient Net in handling complex classification tasks with large-scale image datasets. Furthermore, we provide insights into the interpretability of the model's predictions, shedding light on the learned representations and key features contributing to breed classification. This project not only advances the state-of-the-art in dog breed classification but also contributes to our understanding of deep learning techniques applied to animal recognition tasks. In sum up, our work highlights the potential of leveraging advanced neural network architectures like Efficient Net for comprehensive and accurate dog breed classification, paving the way for applications in veterinary medicine, pet care, and animal welfare. © 2024 IEEE.

This paper proposes an Inductance-to-Digital Converter (LDC) that measures the change in inductance ∆L of a Differential-type Inductive Sensor (DIS) independent of its coil resistance. The ∆L is measured using a ratio metric approach that eliminates error due to the tolerances of the components used in the circuit. The proposed LDC is realized using a simple dual-slope conversion technique and possesses advantages such as noise immunity and high accuracy. Existing schemes for measuring differential inductance assume the coil resistance is negligible or equally matched. This assumption may not be practical always, and hence a noticeable error in inductance measurement will be introduced in the existing architectures, while the proposed design does not suffer from this limitation. In addition, the final output provided by the proposed LDC will always be proportional to the measurand, irrespective of whether the measurand has a linear or inverse relationship with the sensor inductance. The prototype developed showed superior performance with a worst-case error of 0.72% when the series coil resistance was varied from 0 to 1000 Ω in steps of 100 Ω. Moreover, the developed architecture showed a good resolution of 3.5 µH and high linearity, with a worst-case error of 0.55% when ∆L was varied from –6 mH to +6mH. © 2023, The Author(s), under exclusive license to Springer Nature Switzerland AG.

Vehicle ad-hoc network is an intelligent transport system. We investigate trifles of the ad-hoc networking system and discovered there are a number of inconclusive issues that could lead to the network collapse. In this paper we tried to ameliorate the road management system and solve the traffic jam issue in real time. VANET applications enable vehicles to connect to the internet to obtain real time news, traffic and weather reports. In real-time VANET is a scheme system, where assorted volatile vehicles and connecting devices come in concretion with a wireless medium. Vehicle to vehicle (V2V) communication is a wireless network, which exchange information about the speed and location of contiguous vehicles, shows great assurance to help fudge accidents, diminish traffic congestion and flourish the ambience. Recent studies have showed that routing protocols may redact on vehicle networks developed using dynamic road traffic information for select the most suitable forwarding path or node. © 2022 IEEE.
