Voice, motion, and mimicry are naturalistic control modalities that have replaced text or display-driven control in human-computer communication (HCC). Specifically, the vocals contain a lot of knowledge, revealing details about the speaker’s goals and desires, as well as their internal condition. Certain vocal characteristics reveal the speaker’s mood, intention, and motivation, while word study assists the speaker’s demand to be understood. Voice emotion recognition has become an essential component of modern HCC networks. Integrating findings from the various disciplines involved in identifying vocal emotions is also challenging. Many sound analysis techniques were developed in the past. Learning about the development of artificial intelligence (AI), and especially Deep Learning (DL) technology, research incorporating real data is becoming increasingly common these days. Thus, this research presents a novel selfish herd optimization-tuned long/short-term memory (SHO-LSTM) strategy to identify vocal emotions in human communication. The RAVDESS public dataset is used to train the suggested SHO-LSTM technique. Mel-frequency cepstral coefficient (MFCC) and wiener filter (WF) techniques are used, respectively, to remove noise and extract features from the data. LSTM and SHO are applied to the extracted data to optimize the LSTM network’s parameters for effective emotion recognition. Python Software was used to execute our proposed framework. In the finding assessment phase, Numerous metrics are used to evaluate the proposed model’s detection capability, Such as F1-score (95%), precision (95%), recall (96%), and accuracy (97%). The suggested approach is tested on a Python platform, and the SHO-LSTM’s outcomes are contrasted with those of other previously conducted research. Based on comparative assessments, our suggested approach outperforms the current approaches in vocal emotion recognition.

Glaucoma is currently one of the most significant causes of permanent blindness. Fundus imaging is the most popular glaucoma screening method because of the compromises it has to make in terms of portability, size, and cost. In recent years, convolution neural networks (CNNs) have revolutionized computer vision. Convolution is a "local" CNN technique that is only applicable to a small region surrounding an image. Vision Transformers (ViT) use self-attention, which is a "global" activity since it collects information from the entire image. As a result, the ViT can successfully gather distant semantic relevance from an image. This study examined several optimizers, including Adamax, SGD, RMSprop, Adadelta, Adafactor, Nadam, and Adagrad. With 1750 Healthy and Glaucoma images in the IEEE fundus image dataset and 4800 healthy and glaucoma images in the LAG fundus image dataset, we trained and tested the ViT model on these datasets. Additionally, the datasets underwent image scaling, auto-rotation, and auto-contrast adjustment via adaptive equalization during preprocessing. The results demonstrated that preparing the provided dataset with various optimizers improved accuracy and other performance metrics. Additionally, according to the results, the Nadam Optimizer improved accuracy in the adaptive equalized preprocessing of the IEEE dataset by up to 97.8% and in the adaptive equalized preprocessing of the LAG dataset by up to 92%, both of which were followed by auto rotation and image resizing processes. In addition to integrating our vision transformer model with the shift tokenization model, we also combined ViT with a hybrid model that consisted of six different models, including SVM, Gaussian NB, Bernoulli NB, Decision Tree, KNN, and Random Forest, based on which optimizer was the most successful for each dataset. Rice is a major crop and staple food for more than half of the world’s population and plays a vital role in ensuring food security as well as the global economy pests and diseases pose a threat to the production of rice and have a substantial impact on the yield and quality of the crop. In recent times, deep learning methods have gained prominence in predicting rice leaf diseases. Despite the increasing use of these methods, there are notable limitations in existing approaches. These include a scarcity of extensive and diverse collections of leaf disease images, lower accuracy rates, higher time complexity, and challenges in real-time leaf disease detection. To address the limitations, we explicitly investigate various data augmentation approaches using different generative adversarial networks (GANs) for rice leaf disease detection. Along with the GAN model, advanced CNN-based classifiers have been applied to classify the images with improving data augmentation. Our approach involves employing various GANs to generate high-quality synthetic images. This strategy aims to tackle the challenges posed by limited and imbalanced datasets in the identification of leaf diseases. The key benefit of incorporating GANs in leaf disease detection lies in their ability to create synthetic images, effectively augmenting the dataset’s size, enhancing diversity, and reducing the risk of overfitting. For dataset augmentation, we used three distinct GAN architectures—namely simple GAN, CycleGAN, and DCGAN. Our experiments demonstrated that models utilizing the GAN-augmented dataset generally outperformed those relying on the non-augmented dataset. Notably, the CycleGAN architecture exhibited the most favorable outcomes, with the MobileNet model achieving an accuracy of 98.54%.
