Presently,customer retention is essential for reducing customer churn in telecommunication *** churn prediction(CCP)is important to predict the possibility of customer retention in the quality of *** risks of customer churn also get essential,the rise of machine learning(ML)models can be employed to investigate the characteristics of customer ***,deep learning(DL)models help in prediction of the customer behavior based characteristic *** the DL models necessitate hyperparameter modelling and effort,the process is difficult for research communities and business *** this view,this study designs an optimal deep canonically correlated autoencoder based prediction(ODCCAEP)model for competitive customer dependent application *** addition,the O-DCCAEP method purposes for determining the churning nature of the *** O-DCCAEP technique encompasses preprocessing,classification,and hyperparameter ***,the DCCAE model is employed to classify the churners or ***,the hyperparameter optimization of the DCCAE technique occurs utilizing the deer hunting optimization algorithm(DHOA).The experimental evaluation of the O-DCCAEP technique is carried out against an own dataset and the outcomes highlighted the betterment of the presented O-DCCAEP approach on existing approaches.

COVID-19 is a respiratory disease for which reverse transcription-polymerase chain reaction (RT-PCR) is the standard detection method. This study introduces a hybrid deep learning approach to support the diagnosis of respiratory abnormalities, using COVID-19 as a case study. Multiple datasets were utilized, including the COVID-19 Radiography dataset (Kaggle), the SARS-CoV-2 CT-Scan dataset, and proprietary data from the King Faisal Medical Complex. Seven pre-trained deep learning models—VGG16, VGG19, MobileNet, DenseNet201, ResNet50, InceptionResNetV2, and InceptionV3—were evaluated for their performance. InceptionResNetV2 and InceptionV3 achieved perfect accuracy (100%) on the COVID-19 Radiography dataset and 99% accuracy on the SARS-CoV-2 CT-Scan dataset. Additionally, augmentation techniques were explored to improve model robustness. This research contributes significantly to medical imaging, offering practical insights for advancing diagnostic and monitoring practices for COVID-19 and other respiratory conditions. ©2024 IEEE.

Research on knowledge sharing, participative leadership, and exploitation-exploration has demonstrated its influence on high-performance work systems (HPWS) and the quality of employee performance. In the context of employee ambidexterity, which encompasses both exploitation and exploration innovations, there is a notable gap in research directly addressing these two aspects. data were collected from target employees using an offline questionnaire-based survey, yielding 56 valid responses. This study aims to determine the extent and significance of the supporting variables on employee ambidexterity. Using structural equation modeling, the findings reveal that participative leadership has a positive and significant effect on HPWS and the quality of employee performance. Additionally, exploration has a positive and significant effect on HPWS. The results of this study suggest strategies for enhancing the competitive quality of employee performance, including participative leadership, knowledge sharing, and exploration innovation. © 2024 IEEE.

This research introduces a novel dual-pathway convolutional neural network (DP-CNN) architecture tailored for robust performance in Log-Mel spectrogram image analysis derived from raw multichannel electromyography signals. The primary objective is to assess the effectiveness of the proposed DP-CNN architecture across three datasets (NinaPro DB1, DB2, and DB3), encompassing both able-bodied and amputee subjects. Performance metrics, including accuracy, precision, recall, and F1-score, are employed for comprehensive evaluation. The DP-CNN demonstrates notable mean accuracies of 94.93 ± 1.71% and 94.00 ± 3.65% on NinaPro DB1 and DB2 for healthy subjects, respectively. Additionally, it achieves a robust mean classification accuracy of 85.36 ± 0.82% on amputee subjects in DB3, affirming its efficacy. Comparative analysis with previous methodologies on the same datasets reveals substantial improvements of 28.33%, 26.92%, and 39.09% over the baseline for DB1, DB2, and DB3, respectively. The DP-CNN’s superior performance extends to comparisons with transfer learning models for image classification, reaffirming its efficacy. Across diverse datasets involving both able-bodied and amputee subjects, the DP-CNN exhibits enhanced capabilities, holding promise for advancing myoelectric control. © 2024 the Author(s), licensee AIMS Press.

The classification of mango leaf diseases is critical for effective disease management and ensuring high-quality yields in mango cultivation. This paper presents a comprehensive study on using deep learning techniques to classify various mango leaf diseases, leveraging convolutional neural networks (CNNs) and hybrid models. A total of 7,524 images were used in our study. These included 4,000 training samples and 3,524 testing samples. The images were split into eight groups, which were powdery mildew, cutting weevil, anthracnose, bacterial canker, sooty mold, gall midge, healthy, and die back. The suggested method starts with feature extraction using VGG19 and MobileNetB1, then classification using both standalone models (ResNet50V2 + EfficientNetB1 and VGG16 + MobileNetB1). We employed data augmentation techniques like random brightness adjustment, rotation, and flipping to enhance the robustness of the model. We conducted hyperparameter tuning using hyperband and Bayesian optimization to optimize the model's performance. Experimental results demonstrate that the hybrid models achieved superior performance, with ResNet50V2 and EfficientNetB1 attaining a perfect accuracy of 100 % on the test set. These findings highlight the potential of deep learning techniques to improve the accuracy and reliability of mango leaf disease diagnosis, contributing significantly to the advancement of precision agriculture. © 2024 IEEE.

With the popularization of UAVs (Unmanned Aerial Vehicles) in surveillance, delivery services, environmental monitoring, and increasingly other operational aspects, besides the need to take off and land, efficient traffic management becomes integral for assuring and securing further development and exploitation. Most of the existing traffic management systems for UAVs depend on traditional rule-based algorithms or simpler machine learning techniques, such as DQN or PPO. However, these systems also have enormous challenges: dynamic environments, high-density traffic, and robust decision-making over unpredictable weather and network conditions. In addition, the above traditional models usually experience difficulties in balancing exploration and exploitation, leading to suboptimal routing and enlarged collision risks in complicated urban airspaces. These challenges have driven us to develop a new proposal: a UA V traffic management framework based on Double Deep Q-Network (DDQN) combined with Instruction-Based Learning. In this approach, advanced learning for DDQN optimizes processes at decision-making points for UAVs. The model proposed herein, along with comprehensive simulations and quantitative analyses, demonstrated higher performance in terms of leadership and cumulative rewards while keeping lower training loss compared to the classical algorithms such as DQN, A3C, and PPO. At the same time, the DDQN model presented a better success rate (95%), as also reflected in the balanced precision-recall curve showing an area under the curve of 0.90, over others in the on-point prediction of UAVstate and safety margin of collision. Our experimental results demonstrate that the proposed DDQN-based framework significantly enhances UA V traffic management by optimizing energy consumption in complex airspaces and reducing the risk of collision. © 2025 IEEE.

Environmental negotiations and decision-making take place at the science-policy interface. While this is well known within academic literature, it is often difficult to convey to students how science and policy interact in environmental studies and social sciences. Negotiation simulations are an effective experimental learning tool to teach this to students. As the world is transitioning into a digital age, these negotiation situations can be simulated online in virtual environments using gamification techniques. This paper presents work on the virtual "Phosphorus Negotiation Game"(P-Game) that is currently under development at the University of Pannonia in Hungary and the University for Continuing Education Krems in Austria. The game is based on a live simulation and is now being digitalized with a frontend that is a virtual environment and a backend that is a smartphone application. In the game participants debate among themselves with prerecorded audio using rules of University Debating as a blueprint. The creation of this virtual game is presented in this paper, while also detailing the research question and measurement plan of the authors. © 2022 IEEE.

In this paper, the problem of collaborative vehicle sensing is investigated. In the considered model, a set of cooperative vehicles provide sensing information to sensing request vehicles with limited sensing and communication resources. A base station (BS) determines the subset of sensing request vehicles that each cooperative vehicle will serve and the sub-regions that each cooperative vehicle will detect. We formulate an optimization problem aiming to maximize the number of successfully detected sub-regions of sensing request vehicles while satisfying the cooperative sensing energy requirement by jointly determining the cooperative vehicle association and the sensing sub-region selection. To solve this problem, we propose a graph attention based reinforcement learning (RL) algorithm that can generate the graph information vectors based on the correlation between each cooperative vehicle and each sensing request vehicle. Using the learned graph information, the joint cooperative vehicle association and sensing sub-region selection strategy will be determined. Simulation results show that the proposed scheme can improve the number of successfully detected sub-regions of sensing request vehicles by up to 12.5% compared to the conventional RL algorithm without using graph attention networks (GANs). © 2024 IEEE.
