The specification of experiments expressed as Complex Analytics Workflows is a complex task that involves many decision-making steps with various degrees of complexity. The use of the context, the expert knowledge, and the potential for its sharing and reuse in the context of experiment specification have not been addressed sufficiently until now. Moreover, to make such knowledge instrumental, it should be coupled with specific probabilistic measures, such as particular assurances, ranking, and verification of various options. The paper aims to present a novel semantic model for probabilistic reasoning in any experimentation context coupled with a functional system for knowledge generation, reuse, and sharing. Recent advancements in Smart Assistants (SAs) as well as home automation have captured the attention of both researchers and consumers. Virtual Assistants (VAs) that are speech-enabled are commonly referred to as smart speakers. They offer a wide range of network-based services. In some cases, they seamlessly link to smart environments, introducing innovative and efficient user interfaces. Nevertheless, these devices present their own set of challenges and limitations. The distinctive features of this technology, particularly its hand-free operation handled by voice and implementation of voice-user interface create a unique landscape. Existing technology adoption models, however, fall short in offering a comprehensive explanation for the adoption of this innovative technology. To gain deeper insights into the motivation behind approving and using in-home voice assistants, this work shifts its focus towards examining voice interactions. Utilization of speech recognition for converting speech into text enables constructing an attractive personalized assistant. This development facilitates seamless tasks such as sending emails without manual typing, conducting Google searches without opening the browser, and accomplishing various daily activities including playing music or launching a preferred IDE, all with a single voice command. To assess its performance, the system is seamlessly integrated with home automation (open-source) environment and operated continuously for some days. During this period, users are encouraged to interact with it, and the results demonstrate increased accuracy, reliability and appeal. © The Author(s), under exclusive license to Springer Nature Singapore Pte Ltd. 2025.

Unsupervised Remote sensing change detection is very important because it addresses the problem of scarcity in the data availability in training. Some of the researchers are successful in finding the change regions but are not able to classify what changes happened in those regions. Nearly every study faces challenges in generalizing the fluctuations occurring during both the growing and non-growing seasons. The current study utilizes a novel architecture consisting of two parts. The first part involves proposing change regions through the change vector calculation method and applying Otsu's Thresholding on the calculated change vectors, while the second part entails classifying these proposed change regions into vegetation change, building change, and non-change regions. non-change region classification process aims to eliminate false changes identified by the change vector analysis and Otsu's Thresholding. In the second stage, NDVI, NDWI, and NDMI indices are compared and the resulting change mask obtained is subjected for element-wise multiplication operation with the change mask obtained in the first stage. The study addressed the challenge of generalizing short-term changes, such as those occurring during the growing and non-growing seasons, by computing the median of pixels over a time range encompassing both types of changes. Additionally, the method was fine-tuned using NIT Puducherry data from two time periods. Subsequently, the entire Karaikal district was considered to examine the changes comprehensively. The present study outperformed different state of the art methods like CVI_OTSU, PCI_Kmeans, Continuous Change Detection and Classification (CCDC). The present study got better results with an accuracy of 86.07 and kappa coefficient of 0.7898. © 2024 IEEE.

The primary objective of this research is to develop and promote efficient and secure de-identification technology to address the application of sensitive personal information in healthcare big data. Considering the outstanding performance of large language models (such as GPT) in understanding text, we aim to utilize these advanced models to process medical records. Compared to traditional methods such as manual processing, rule-based, or machine learning methods, large language models can more effectively de-identify unstructured medical record data. We can enhance the recognition and de-identification accuracy of personal identification information in medical records through deep learning techniques. Additionally, the contextual understanding capabilities of large language models can comprehensively process medical record data, ensuring that the de-identification process does not affect the integrity and availability of medical information. Therefore, the research methodology will include model training, optimization, and validation to ensure that the developed de-identification technology achieves efficient and reliable results in practical applications. We explore different large language models, considering the diversity of personal medical data to address various de-identification needs in different medical record data. In this article, we propose three research issues for de-identification: 1) Research on the application of deep language models and de-identification technology in medical cases;2) optimization of prompt engineering to enhance de-identification of medical cases by large language models;3) Optimization and promotion of de-identification technology for practical applications in the medical. © (2025), (Femto Technique Co., Ltd.). Autism Spectrum Disorder(ASD)is a neurodevelopmental condition characterized by significant challenges in social interaction,communication,and repetitive *** and precise ASD detection is crucial,particularly in regions with limited diagnostic resources like *** study aims to conduct an extensive comparative analysis of various machine learning classifiers for ASD detection using facial images to identify an accurate and cost-effective solution tailored to the local *** research involves experimentation with VGG16 and MobileNet models,exploring different batch sizes,optimizers,and learning rate *** addition,the“Orange”machine learning tool is employed to evaluate classifier performance and automated image processing capabilities are utilized within the *** findings unequivocally establish VGG16 as the most effective classifier with a 5-fold cross-validation ***,VGG16,with a batch size of 2 and the Adam optimizer,trained for 100 epochs,achieves a remarkable validation accuracy of 99% and a testing accuracy of 87%.Furthermore,the model achieves an F1 score of 88%,precision of 85%,and recall of 90% on test *** validate the practical applicability of the VGG16 model with 5-fold cross-validation,the study conducts further testing on a dataset sourced fromautism centers in Pakistan,resulting in an accuracy rate of 85%.This reaffirms the model’s suitability for real-world ASD *** research offers valuable insights into classifier performance,emphasizing the potential of machine learning to deliver precise and accessible ASD diagnoses via facial image analysis.

Medical data are subject to privacy regulations, which severely limit AI specialists who wish to construct decision support systems for medicine. Large amounts of this data are tabular, indicating that they are organized into a table format, where patient records are represented in rows and measured variables in columns. Furthermore, the variables come in different types-some are numerical, while others are categorical. In this work, we introduce a novel method for constructing generators of synthetic tabular data with mixed types. The key point of our approach is the explicit utilization of a latent space to represent the original data. A case study using real medical data is presented. © 2024 The Authors.

This paper proposes an innovative decision support system based on sentiment analysis, specifically designed for the transportation sector. The system employs an aspect-based sentiment analysis approach, which accurately identifies and classifies customer opinions on key transportation service aspects such as comfort, driver behavior, punctuality, and vehicle condition. By integrating the BERT model, known for its advanced natural language processing capabilities, our system provides an in-depth and reliable analysis of customer sentiments. This analysis enables managers and decision-makers to better understand the strengths and weaknesses of the provided transportation services and to precisely target areas that require improvement. By offering actionable insights, our approach aims to enhance the user experience, improve service quality, and increase overall customer satisfaction. © 2024 IEEE.
