Human emotions, psychology, and social well-being are all parts of mental health. It has an impact on how people feel, think, and act. It aids in figuring out how individuals act under pressure, interact with each other, and arrive at decisions. Every period of life, from childhood and adolescence to maturity, is vital for mental health. There are several elements that affect mental health issues, such as experiences with trauma or abuse in life, work-life stress, relationship difficulties, etc. Help is available for many of the mental health issues that are identified within a person. The proposed solution is implementing a friendly chatbot that is capable of capturing human emotional states (happy, angry, sad, etc.) and mental health states (depression, anxiety, stress, etc.) using human computer interaction and health record management. The proposed solution has been developed by considering both regular users and mental health practitioners. The user can communicate with the proposed assistant using text or voice to identify their emotions and mental health based on keywords, particular characteristics of voice and facial recognition used during the conversation. Once the mental health and emotion statuses are analyzed the electronic health records will be readily available on the blockchain as blockchain tokens, this could be shared with the practitioners securely. © 2023 IEEE.

In terms of security and privacy,mobile ad-hoc network(MANET)continues to be in demand for additional debate and *** more MANET applications become data-oriented,implementing a secure and reliable data transfer protocol becomes a major concern in the ***,MANET’s lack of infrastructure,unpredictable topology,and restricted resources,as well as the lack of a previously permitted trust relationship among connected nodes,contribute to the attack detection burden.A novel detection approach is presented in this paper to classify passive and active black-hole *** proposed approach is based on the dipper throated optimization(DTO)algorithm,which presents a plausible path out of multiple paths for statistics transmission to boost MANETs’quality of service.A group of selected packet features will then be weighed by the DTO-based multi-layer perceptron(DTO-MLP),and these features are collected from nodes using the Low Energy Adaptive Clustering Hierarchical(LEACH)clustering *** is a powerful classifier and the DTO weight optimization method has a significant impact on improving the classification process by strengthening the weights of key features while suppressing the weights ofminor *** hybridmethod is primarily designed to combat active black-hole *** the LEACH clustering phase,however,can also detect passive black-hole *** effect of mobility variation on detection error and routing overhead is explored and evaluated using the suggested *** diverse mobility situations,the results demonstrate up to 97%detection accuracy and faster execution ***,the suggested approach uses an adjustable threshold value to make a correct conclusion regarding whether a node is malicious or benign.

We propose a novel framework for incorporating unlabeled data into semi-supervised classification problems, where scenarios involving the minimization of either i) adversarially robust or ii) non-robust loss functions have been considered. Notably, we allow the unlabeled samples to deviate slightly (in total variation sense) from the in-domain distribution. The core idea behind our framework is to combine Distributionally Robust Optimization (DRO) with self-supervised training. As a result, we also leverage efficient polynomial-time algorithms for the training stage. From a theoretical standpoint, we apply our framework on the classification problem of a mixture of two Gaussians in Rd, where in addition to the m independent and labeled samples from the true distribution, a set of n (usually with n m) out of domain and unlabeled samples are given as well. Using only the labeled data, it is known that the generalization error can be bounded by ∝ (d/m)1/2. However, using our method on both isotropic and non-isotropic Gaussian mixture models, one can derive a new set of analytically explicit and non-asymptotic bounds which show substantial improvement on the generalization error compared to ERM. Our results underscore two significant insights: 1) out-of-domain samples, even when unlabeled, can be harnessed to narrow the generalization gap, provided that the true data distribution adheres to a form of the "cluster assumption", and 2) the semi-supervised learning paradigm can be regarded as a special case of our framework when there are no distributional shifts. We validate our claims through experiments conducted on a variety of synthetic and real-world datasets. © 2024 12th International Conference on Learning Representations, ICLR 2024. With technological improvements in the restaurant industry, competition is fierce, and a restaurant's success depends on providing excellent and luxury customer satisfaction. The food industry has had to continuously advance with technology in order to adequately satisfy the wants of people leading increasingly luxurious lives. While some restaurants still rely on manpower, the majority are eager to advance with technology in order to improve the standard of their offerings and enhance their customers' experiences. In order to optimize customer satisfaction and experience, this research project intends to investigate the potential of intelligence in the restaurant business. This research has explored intelligent systems such as digital self-service menus for ordering food, augmented reality (AR) visualization systems for customers, the observation of chefs in the kitchen, and the usage of robots to serve meals. This research paper analyzes the advantages of automating restaurant operations and how to do so to enhance customer satisfaction. Overall, this study has the potential to transform the restaurant industry and increase customer satisfaction. © 2023 IEEE.

Tropical cyclones, characterized by strong winds and heavy rainfall, threaten human life in coastal regions crucial to the economy, including fisheries, agriculture, tourism, and infrastructure. Their frequent occurrence impacts communities reliant on these industries for livelihoods. Accurate estimation of tropical cyclone intensity is vital for disaster preparedness, risk assessment, and timely evacuations. Recent advancements in machine learning and deep learning have been applied to predict cyclone intensity from satellite images, providing insights into cyclone dynamics and enhancing disaster response. This paper analyzes recent research on intensity estimation using various machine learning algorithms and discusses future prospects for improving accuracy and reliability. © 2024 IEEE.

The complex characteristics of brain tumors have prompted the advancement of diverse computer-based categorization methods to enhance the efficiency and precision of MRI diagnoses. However, these processes still needed significant improvement to meet the diagnostic criteria of the actual world. This work aims to improve classification accuracy by combining the powerful feature extraction capabilities of VGG19 with the robustness of ensemble classifiers such as Logistic Regression, Random Forest, and K-nearest neighbor. The suggested technique utilized the Br35H dataset, which comprises 3000 images categorized into tumor-present and tumor-absent cases. The proposed framework underwent evaluation utilizing a 5-fold stratified cross-validation technique, resulting in a mean accuracy of 98.27%. This accuracy outperforms both earlier techniques and traditional deep learning methods. The simplicity and computational cost of the suggested technique indicate its suitability for use in real-world settings with limited resources. © 2024 IEEE.

Automatic person identification (API) using human biometrics is essential and highly demanded compared to traditional API methods, where a person is automatically identified using his/her distinct characteristics including speech, fingerprint, iris, handwritten signatures, and others. The fusion of more than one human biometric produces bimodal and multimodal API systems that normally outperform single modality systems. This paper presents our work towards fusing speech and handwritten signatures for developing a bimodal API system, where fusion was conducted at the decision level due to the differences in the type and format of the features extracted. A data set is created that contains recordings of usernames and handwritten signatures of 100 persons (50 males and 50 females), where each person recorded his/her username 30 times and provided his/her handwritten signature 30 times. Consequently, a total of 3000 utterances and 3000 handwritten signatures were collected. The speech API used Mel-Frequency Cepstral Coefficients (MFCC) technique for features extraction and Vector Quantization (VQ) for features training and classification. On the other hand, the handwritten signatures API used global features for reflecting the structure of the hand signature image such as image area, pure height, pure width and signature height and the Multi-Layer Perceptron (MLP) architecture of Artificial Neural Network for features training and classification. Once the best matches for both the speech and the handwritten signatures API are produced, the fusion process takes place at decision level. It computes the difference between the two best matches for each modality and selects the modality of the maximum difference. Based on our experimental results, the bimodal API obtained an average recognition rate of 96.40%, whereas the speech API and the handwritten signatures API obtained average recognition rates of 92.60% and 75.20%, respectively.
