PhraseFluent is a project to develop a complete web-based solution to help people who are suffering from speech disorders. This application is specifically designed for people who are suffering from articulation and stuttering speech disorders. There are few solutions available for speech disorders identification and speech therapies. Those available applications have several drawbacks that lead to the research gap for this research. Those findings do not have any disorder-specific speech detection methods. Those applications generally detect speech disorders not the type of the disorder. Also, the speech therapy exercises suggest applications are practicing words according to the order of the alphabet. Those solutions are not based on the sounds that need to be practiced in order to cure speech disorders. Also, applications that have detection mechanisms are not currently available for wide access. This application mainly contains React-based interactive interfaces and a Python-programmed backend with machine-learning algorithms for functionality. This application can help to automate the process of detecting speech disorders and suggest therapy activities. Also, this application can track the patient's progress with the therapies. Used datasets contain the data with 70% accuracy and the test results gave a 68% percent success rate. This approach will be the first step in automating the complete process of speech disorder diagnosis. © 2023 IEEE.

Software Defined Networking (SDN) promises to introduce flexibility and programmability into networks by offering developers a northbound interface (NBI) to create SDN applications. However, current designs and implementations have drawbacks, including the lack of Proper Standardization, Controller-Lock-In Situation, and Loss of Compatibility with SDN applications. Using Google Remote Procedure Call (gRPC) Application Programming Interface (API), the SDN controller can offer network resources, such as statistics, flow information, or topology data, to registered SDN applications. Furthermore, the gRPC enables controller-agnostic and language-agnostic development to enable proactive and reactive applications and services to interact with controller services. Transport Layer Security (TLS) enables confidentiality with encryption, authenticity with mutual authentication, and integrity with Message Authentication Code (MAC). Finally, Attribute-based Access Control (ABAC) and Logging capability for controller services allow fine-grained access control and accountability enforcement to ensure the security goals of the NBI. This research paper provides a complete architecture to converge different Northbound API streams into one secure, language-agnostic, controller-agnostic API stream with the help of the gRPC framework. © 2023 IEEE.

Visually impaired individuals face difficulties in public transportation, especially in recognizing bus numbers. Though existing image captioning method can provide some bus scene information via voice broadcasting, precisely recognizing bus number while analyzing complex scenes remains challenges. To overcome this bottleneck, we propose a novel Text based Depth-aware image Captioning network (TDCnet) that facilitates a deeper understanding of the spatial relationships and geometric configurations of objects within bus scenes. Specially, we first carefully construct a new real-world dataset of bus scene integrated with bus number of LED strobe effect, to ensure generality and representations in practice. Then, we incorporate the depth information into the object and optical character recognition (OCR) feature for exploiting the spatial geometric relationships and capturing high-level semantic information. Finally, the experimental results demonstrate the necessity of constructing the Buscap dataset by comparing it with the public Textcap dataset. Besides, the comparison with other competing benchmark models verifies the effectiveness and practicability of the proposed TDCnet method. © 2024 Copyright held by the owner/author(s).

CONTEXT: Web applications are exposed to malicious accesses through the Internet. SQL injection (SQLi) attacks are still a typical threat to web application providers. Although recent studies proposed deep learning-based SQLi attack detection models with high performance, those studies were not evaluated under the same conditions. Crucial aspects other than the predictive performance were also overlooked. OBJECTIVE: To evaluate SQLi attack detection models from multi-aspects related to its operation. METHOD: Three aspects, namely, predictive performance, detection speed, and operation costs, were applied to deep learning-based SQLi attack detection models. RESULTS: No DL-based model beaten a conventional machine learning-based model, Random Forests. CONCLUSION: Researchers must evaluate DL-based SQLi attack detection models with conventional ones with hyper-parameter tuning. © 2024 IEEE.

The study of sign language recognition has been a thriving area of research for nearly twenty years. SSL translation using computer vision relies on extensive training using large number of images or video sequences. Yet, it poses a challenge for languages with limited resources, like Sinhala Sign Language. Due to the absence of accessible datasets for such investigations and lack of SSL recognition systems for real-time scenarios, the authors of this research have developed a completed system that consist of three components which are, static sign recognition, dynamic sign recognition and natural language processing to output a meaningful sentence. This paper describes the models and the results which are developed for static sign recognition. The final model for the Sinhala Static recognition has developed using media-pipe and SVM algorithm. And to compare the results and performance authors have used CNN, SVM, KNN and Random-forest algorithms to compare the results and performance. In this research, authors have made a valuable contribution by introducing a new dataset and developing a system for translating static SSL that gives 99.67% of accuracy and best performance when compared to the other two models and algorithms described in this paper. © 2023 IEEE.

Selecting the most relevant subset of features from a dataset is a vital step in data mining and machine *** feature in a dataset has 2n possible subsets,making it challenging to select the optimum collection of features using typical *** a result,a new metaheuristicsbased feature selection method based on the dipper-throated and grey-wolf optimization(DTO-GW)algorithms has been developed in this *** can result when the selection of features is subject to metaheuristics,which can lead to a wide range of ***,we adopted hybrid optimization in our method of optimizing,which allowed us to better balance exploration and harvesting chores more *** propose utilizing the binary DTO-GW search approach we previously devised for selecting the optimal subset of *** the proposed method,the number of features selected is minimized,while classification accuracy is *** test the proposed method’s performance against eleven other state-of-theart approaches,eight datasets from the UCI repository were used,such as binary grey wolf search(bGWO),binary hybrid grey wolf,and particle swarm optimization(bGWO-PSO),bPSO,binary stochastic fractal search(bSFS),binary whale optimization algorithm(bWOA),binary modified grey wolf optimization(bMGWO),binary multiverse optimization(bMVO),binary bowerbird optimization(bSBO),binary hysteresis optimization(bHy),and binary hysteresis optimization(bHWO).The suggested method is superior 4532 CMC,2023,vol.74,no.2 and successful in handling the problem of feature selection,according to the results of the experiments.

Yoga is a popular practice that aims to improve one's health and well-being through physical postures, breathing exercises, and meditation. The growing popularity of yoga has prompted researchers to focus on automating the process of classifying yoga poses. Using deep convolutional neural networks (CNNs) and transfer learning, we present a deep learning-based method for correctly categorizing yoga postures in this research. The primary goal of this study is to develop an efficient method for automatically recognizing and categorizing yoga poses in given photographs. The impressive success of deep CNNs in picture classification tasks is exploited here to accomplish this goal. We also use transfer learning, a method for customizing pre-trained CNN models for our unique yoga posture categorization task. This paper presents a Transfer Learning based Method for Yoga Poses classification using Deep Convolutional Neural Networks (TLMYPC-DCNN). The proposed model uses the Yoga Posture Dataset for classification of images. Initially, this model starts with pre-processing the input images by splitting input data into three groups such as training set, validation set and test data. The deep learning CNN model will be trained using the training data, and then its parameters will be tweaked using the validation data. Finally, the test data will be used to assess how well the data performs. A convolutional neural network (CNN) model called MobileNetV2 will be applied to the model photos. The experimental results show that the suggested TLMYPC-DCNN based technique with transfer learning is effective at accurately and reliably classifying yoga poses. © 2023 IEEE.

The inability of traditional privacy-preserving models to protect multiple datasets based on sensitive attributes has prompted researchers to propose models such as SLOMS,SLAMSA,(p,k)-Angelization,and(p,l)-Angelization,but these were found to be insufficient in terms of robust privacy and performance.(p,l)-Angelization was successful against different privacy disclosures,but it was not *** the best of our knowledge,no robust privacy model based on fuzzy logic has been proposed to protect the privacy of sensitive attributes with multiple *** this paper,we suggest an improved version of(p,l)-Angelization based on a hybrid AI approach and privacy-preserving approach like ***-classification(p,l)-Angel uses artificial intelligence based fuzzy logic for classification,a high-dimensional segmentation technique for segmenting quasi-identifiers and multiple sensitive *** demonstrate the feasibility of the proposed solution by modelling and analyzing privacy violations using High-Level Petri *** results of the experiment demonstrate that the proposed approach produces better results in terms of efficiency and utility.

Water Distribution Networks (WDNs) experience substantial water losses due to pipeline leaks, leading to economic losses and worsening global water scarcity concerns. This research aims to improve leak detection accuracy and identify leakage locations in WDNs. The prevalence of leaks in WDNs presents a pervasive challenge affecting water utilities economically and environmentally. Traditional leak detection methods are time-consuming, resource-intensive, and prone to inaccuracies and false alarms due to sensor placement randomness. Detecting concealed background leaks presents a particular challenge due to their invisibility to the naked eye. These leaks manifest below the surface, complicating their realtime identification and repair efforts. To address these challenges, this paper proposes the SVM-CNN-GT algorithm, which is an advanced ensemble supervised Machine Learning (ML) algorithm that integrates Support Vector Machines (SVM), Convolutional Neural Network (CNN), and Graph Theory (GT). By combining multiple ML algorithms, the SVM-CNN-GT model considers various factors influencing leak detection and localization, resulting in more precise and reliable assessments of leak presence and location. The algorithm employs automatic feature extraction and heterogeneous dual classifiers, accurately evaluating leaks based on flow rate, pressure, and temperature data. Additionally, a combination probability scheme enhances leak detection efficiency by integrating diverse classifier models with distinct prediction outputs. The SVM-CNN-GT algorithm's performance is evaluated using EPANET and compared to two other algorithms, the proposed SVM-CNN-GT demonstrated remarkable proficiency with the highest average leak detection accuracy of 98%, followed by CNN at 82% and SVM at 78%. © 2023 IEEE.
