The analysis of various sources has been carried out, confirming the demand for protective solutions against information threats from fake websites of organizations. The relevance of the research topic is confirmed by the presence of addresses similar in spelling to popular educational Internet resources in the list of domain names of the RU zone registered over the past year. When developing security solutions, it is proposed to use a site verifying the genuineness method based on the use of machine learning algorithms. A review of research by various authors has been conducted in order to determine the most frequently used features for verifying the genuineness of Internet resources in the machine learning models. The authors propose their own verifying the genuineness features that can be used in a situation where data about an Internet resource is extracted from the domain name registry. The proposed features differ from the known ones in that they contain signs of micro-markup on the site and storage of site settings files for search engines on servers. The developed features were tested using a naive Bayesian classifier as a machine learning algorithm. The proposed features can be used in the implementation of a software tool to counteraction threats from fake educational sites. © 2024 IEEE.

The analysis of scientific paper and Internet sources devoted to the problem of information counteraction to threats of phishing sites of organizations is carried out. The need for the use of protective equipment on the side of organizations is shown. The relevance of the research topic is confirmed by the presence in the RU zone registry of domain names similar in spelling to well-known educational resources. A method for detecting fake websites based on checking the visual similarity of domain names is proposed. The developed method is based on the use of the Levenshtein metric used in the problem of fuzzy string comparison. The proposed method was tested on the dataset of domain names from the RU zone registry for a certain period of time. When implementing the fake site detection method, the Java programming language and the JGraphT library were used. The test results show an improvement in the quality of the search for domain names similar in spelling to the specified domain name of a web resource. The proposed method can be used in the implementation of one of the modules of a software tool for countering the threats of fake educational sites. © 2022 IEEE.

The study of the educational process of university students has revealed their need for more engagement in class. They seem unable to absorb material that does not require a certain level of mental tension, negatively affecting their academic performance and competence. Therefore, there is a need to develop pedagogical technology to optimize the educational process. We analyzed the educational process at the National University “Odesa Law Academy” in 2020-2023. We evaluated the effectiveness of ways and means of enhancing the academic and cognitive skills of 150 full-time IT students during their study of professional-oriented courses. We have improved students' educational and mental activities by optimizing the educational process through personalized problem-based learning, utilizing professionally oriented problem situations, and providing favorable motivational and emotional support. We confirmed the reliability of the research results using descriptive statistics.

The aim of the research is to develop an interdisciplinary course of extracurricular activities integrating knowledge in science, technology, engineering and mathematics for students to develop their scientific and technological skills. 52 students from secondary schools of Engels, Yoshkar-Ola (Russia), Sholom-Aleichem Priamursky State University (Birobidzhan, Russia), Osh State University College (Osh, Kyrgyz Republic) took part in the educational experiment. The theme-based course Basic Concepts of Arduino Systems Engineering is developed based on the proprietary technology of simple projects of practical relevance. The projects render the general concept from knowledge to competence. The course consists of four modules: Start, Big Workshop/Hands-on Training, Go Ahead/Step forward, Group Design. Arduino applied in design modeling allows students to create electrical devices that would be productive in one or another area of life at a low cost. The course program is aimed at engaging students in innovative design technologies, computer programming and using robotic devices. The findings of the study were observed as part of an interview with students, educational achievement, subsequent STEM literacy test activities and the performance of game summarizing projects. This paper addresses the issue of teaching Ukrainian as a foreign language with the help of modern software. The technical requirements and software service architecture for studying words of Ukrainian language were proposed. This service integrates word forms of Ukrainian words, their grammatical meanings, grammatical cases and means of expression. This allows to carry out effective management of arrays of lexicographic data and to receive examples of use of Ukrainian words in various contexts. The software service developed for learning Ukrainian words is based on the Single-Page Applications, REST API and uses the JavaScript-library React and the *** Core framework. © 2021 IEEE.

We have gained successful experience in conducting educational projects with studentsenvironmentalists of various thematic areas. The topics of ecological projects was related to a practical, professionally oriented block of the curriculum and are intended to deepen the knowledge of individual students in a certain area in order to differentiate the learning process. Most often, project topics relate to a specific practical issue that is relevant to real life. At the same time, it requires the acquisition of students' knowledge from different subjects stimulates systematic creative thinking, turning up the research skills and opens opportunities for effective using of ICT in the project activity. © The Authors, published by EDP sciences, 2020.

The article determines the influence of threats on economic security of enterprises. It offers the directions of counteraction to the threats to economic security of enterprises, which involve the expansion in international markets, diversification of production, development of innovation activity by strengthening of scientific and technical interaction, which will promote a more efficient use of enterprises' potential. The article presents the proposals on improving the process of making managerial decisions for boosting the effectiveness of counteraction to the threats. It proves the necessity of using the indicator of bankruptcy probability diagnosis in the system of assessing the state of economic security of enterprises for a more complete study of the threats to economic security. The article suggests the improved mechanism of counteraction to the threats to economic security, based on the concept that takes into account the use of the opportunities provided by external and internal environments, perspective directions of development, strengthening of integration links of functional systems of the enterprise with the aim of effective counteraction to the threats to economic security and ensuring economic growth of subject of management. The article substantiates the criteria of selection of suppliers of enterprises and defines the conceptual bases of a choice of perspective for markets of the enterprises. The study also determines the necessity of adherence to the principles of complexity, professionalism, and activity with the purpose of effective work of the mechanism of counteraction to the threats to economic security. © 2019 IEEE.

Background Diarrhoeal diseases claim more than 1 million lives annually and are a leading cause of death in children younger than 5 years. Comprehensive global estimates of the diarrhoeal disease burden for specific age groups of children younger than 5 years are scarce, and the burden in children older than 5 years and in adults is also understudied. We used results from the Global Burden of Diseases, Injuries, and Risk Factors Study 2021 to assess the burden of, and trends in, diarrhoeal diseases overall and attributable to 13 pathogens, as well as the contributions of associated risk factors, in children and adults in 204 countries and territories from 1990 to 2021. methods We used the Cause of Death Ensemble modelling strategy to analyse vital registration data, verbal autopsy data, mortality surveillance data, and minimally invasive tissue sampling data. We used DisMod-MR (version 2.1), a Bayesian meta-regression tool, to analyse incidence and prevalence data identified via systematic reviews, population-based surveys, and claims and inpatient data. We calculated diarrhoeal disability-adjusted life-years (DALYs) as the sum of years of life lost (YLLs) and years lived with disability (YLDs) for each location, year, and age-sex group. For aetiology estimation, we used a counterfactual approach to quantify population-attributable fractions (PAFs). Additionally, we estimated the diarrhoeal disease burden attributable to the independent effects of risk factors using the comparative risk assessment framework. Findings In 2021, diarrhoeal diseases caused an estimated 1.17 million (95% uncertainty interval 0.793-1.62) deaths globally, representing a 60.3% (50.6-69.0) decrease since 1990 (2.93 million [2.31-3.73] deaths). The most pronounced decline was in children younger than 5 years, with a 79.2% (72.4-84.6) decrease in diarrhoeal deaths.
