The circular economy (or closed-loop economy) model is an alternative to the traditional, linear manufacturing economy model. Its main task is to organize a closed cycle of production and consumption of products and services and recycling and/or reuse of by-products and waste, which is the undoubted advantage of the circular economy model over the linear one. For its part, this requires the creation of a specialized system of information and communication relations between all participants and, above all, with end users of products and services. In this paper, the solution of this problem is proposed to be carried out on a technological platform by a synergistic combination of methods of service-dominant logic and product-service systems based on information and communication technologies. Closed cycles of production and consumption of energy-intensive products, equipment and materials should be organized, covering almost all links in the transformation of energy resources - from their production to consumption. The central place in this should be occupied by the Internet of Things - an open technological platform where the flows and resources of the system participants (material, energy, financial and economic, information, etc.) will intersect. As a structural form of implementation of the platform under consideration, a vertically integrated form of controlling an inextricable chain of processes for the production and consumption of products and services is proposed. As a fundamental principle for the application of such control, the possibility for system participants to choose the optimal degree of their organizational and functional independence within the limits of intra-system restrictions, regulated by higher-lying subjects (objects) of the system, is determined. © 2022 IEEE.

The goal of transition to information modeling (BIM) in construction is to increase its efficiency by reducing project collisions, introducing innovations into projects and improving the interaction of participants in the investment and construction cycle on the basis of uniform digital models. Analysis of the Russian and foreign experience of BIM showed similarities in a number of areas such as the creation and use of digital libraries and databases for designing complex buildings. The authors associate prospects for the effective implementation of investment and construction projects in the emerging innovation and digital environment with the integration of BIM and project management methodology and with a territorial innovation management system throughout the object's life cycle. For the first time, on the basis of the international Oslo Guidelines, a classification of energy-saving innovations for a residential house project is given, calculations are made to evaluate their effectiveness at the operational stage, and approaches are formulated to create an innovative investment management system for building projects in the digital economy environment. © 2019 Eastern Macedonia and Thrace Institute of Technology.

Technique for estimating the volume of storage and transmission of information from satellite synthetic-aperture radar (SAR) in data centers (DCs) in the digital economy problems is proposed. This technique takes into account the full statistical harmonization of the analog messages generation source with digital storage, processing and transmission systems. The proposed technique is detailed on the example of the statistical model of the process of generating analog SAR information in digital control systems for effective land-use management. The practical importance of this technique involves the possibility of statistical estimation of the storage and transmission of information from satellite SAR in the data centers, while allowing modeling and constructing specific data bases that are optimal in terms of the information volume. © 2020, Univelt Inc. Natural night illumination is the main factor affecting the visibility of objects in the dark. The article proposes a method for determining the natural light during the dark time of day depending on meteorological conditions in the interests of search and rescue support for manned and automatic spacecraft flights. The dependences of the natural night illumination on the number and form of cloud cover are determined. A software package is proposed that allows to assess changes in natural light during the dark time of day, depending on the main factors affecting it and to visualize their changes for an adequate assessment of visibility conditions in the dark. © 2021, Univelt Inc. The recent Kunming-Montreal Global Biodiversity Framework (GBF) sets ambitious goals but no clear pathway for how zero loss of important biodiversity areas and halting human-induced extinction of threatened species will be achieved. We assembled a multi-taxa tracking dataset (11 million geopositions from 15,845 tracked individuals across 121 species) to provide a global assessment of space use of highly mobile marine megafauna, showing that 63% of the area that they cover is used 80% of the time as important migratory corridors or residence areas. The GBF 30% threshold (Target 3) will be insufficient for marine megafauna's effective conservation, leaving important areas exposed to major anthropogenic threats. Coupling area protection with mitigation strategies (e.g., fishing regulation, wildlife-traffic separation) will be essential to reach international goals and conserve biodiversity.
