By using the finite displacements theory, this paper establishes relations of dependency between the initial and the final positions of the car batteries and the geometric and design parameters of the robot. For this, the structural kinematic scheme of the robot was used to apply gradually this theory, from the end-effector to the base of the robot. To utilize the finite displacements theory is necessary to register the two positions of the manipulated object in the same reference system. This thing can be done by using matrix relations which transforms the coordinates of the points from one system to another. These relations, along with specific relations from the finite displacements theory, lead to a matriceal algorithm suitable for computer implementation. The numerical application presented in this paper shows the final position of the car battery on the stock pallet, if the geometric parameters, the design parameters and the initial position of the battery are given. © (2010) Trans Tech Publications, Switzerland.

In this paper a complete equivalent electric circuit for a planar shear piezoelectric accelerometer is presented. Starting from the KLM (Krimholtz-Leedom-Matthaei) approach for a single piezoceramic plate sandwiched between two cladding layers, the model is extended in order to facilitate the frequency domain analysis for arbitrary geometries of the seismic masses. The nonlinear random vibration issues are analyzed by the use of parabolic partial differential equations. Among them, the Fokker-Planck equation is a very powerful tool for obtaining statistical information, because it is derived on a probabilistic basis and can be formulated to govern random processes in spring-mass mechanical systems. If a single degree-of-freedom (SDOF) mechanical system is excited by wideband random noise, the statistical behaviour for the relative displacement of the mass can be determined by numerical solving the Fokker-Planck equation. A C++ computer program was written for the two-dimensional finite differences method, with initial value conditions. The numerical method is based on an operator splitting technique combined with an alternating-direction implicit (ADI) method. The white noise like signal is substituted by a true-random number generator that gives uniform random deviates, of real number type. For a concrete example with Gaussian distribution initial conditions, several 3D plots are given for the calculated probability density function.

In the paper is presented a simulation system for parallel robots, which deals with the robot kinematics, workspace generation, singular position identification and trajectory visualization. The latest obtained results demonstrate that from the kinematic model and the graphical simulation the implemented algorithms offer a higher degree of generality. Therefore the developed simulation software modules may be applied to different types of parallel robots with three degrees of freedom. The computing time necessary for generating the virtual model is relatively small.

The parallel robots dynamics requires a great deal of computing as regards the formulation of the generally nonlinear equations of motion and their solution. In this paper different solutions for solving the dynamical model for the guided in three points parallel robots are presented. The derived dynamical algorithms offer the possibility of a complex dynamic study for these parallel robots in order to evaluate their dynamic capabilities and to generate the control algorithms.

The number of annual scientific publications is growing year by year, which has led to the accumulation and formation of large databases. This increases the complexity of the search for relevant articles. Modern search engines leverage keyphrases to improve the performance of search results. Keyphrases (or keywords) are a set of single or multi-word expressions which provide a very compact summary of contents and describe the overall topic of a document. Implementation of keyphrase extraction can be varied for specific-domain databases. This motivated us to evaluate these methods on a database of influenza scientific literature. In this work, we considered 9 well known methods for extracting keyphrases. Our preliminary results show txhat graph-based methods which employ topics outperform others using our database. We also determined that influenza-related papers can be grouped into three general topics: public health & medical care;molecular biology & immunology;and phylogenetic & epidemiological studies. © 2022 IEEE.

In this paper, we consider a two-dimensional operator with an antisymmetric integral kernel, recently introduced by Z. Avetisyan and A. Karapetyants in connection to the study of general homogeneous operators. This is the unique two-dimensional operator that has an antisymmetric kernel homogeneous with respect to all orientation-preserving linear transformations of the plane. The environment protection is one of the most actual problems, because of the fact that the pollution became a major danger for the planet life. The environment pollution is caused because some pollution agents are in a too big quantity and for la long time that they become dangerous for the human health, for the flora, for the fauna and for the constructions too. The pollution sources can be classified in natural and artificial sources. The quality of the environment from a specific area at a certain time can be appreciated by: a) the air quality;b) the water quality;c) the soil quality;d) the health level of the population;e) the deficit of animals and plants species that are accounted for. In the paper there are given the urban traffic on the principal routs inside the Cluj-Napoca municipality. The traffic is the constituent part of the research activity of the national project having the destination the monitoring of the noise and vibrations into an urban agglomeration, applied to the Cluj-Napoca town. This study is the first step for the "noise map" asked for the Romania integration in the European Union for the team researchers of TUCN under the direction of the prof. dr. ing. Mariana ARGHIR.

The algorithm of the dynamic control functions achieves a complex modeling regarding the behavior of any mechanical robot structure. First of all, considering the kinetic links dominated of stiffness hypothesis, on the basis of the new formulations with matrix exponentials, in this paper, the differentials expressions answerable to the forward kinematics of mechanical robot structures were presented. On the basis of these equations, in the following, the generalized dynamics forces were also analyzed for the robots with rigid and elastic structure
