The posterior probability of the oil samples - mineral oil (MO), punga oil (PO), and modified punga oil (MPO) - are utilized in this study. The posterior probability of the oil samples is discovered using two classification techniques. Breakdown voltage (BDV), kinematic viscosity (KVIS), dielectric constant (DC), and moisture content were the dielectric parameters employed in this investigation (MC). The classification of clusters and visualization of their 2D interactive effect, visualization of the 3D decision surface at various clusters, examination of Gaussian mixture assumptions, the Q- Q plot, and consistency testing using the Mardia Kurtosis test for linear and quadratic discriminant analyses are the main counterparts of the work. The study's findings show that using the observed dielectric properties of the oil samples, it may be possible to comprehend their subsequent roles. © 2023 IEEE.

Investigating the influence of radiation on glass fibre composites is essential for their use in space and aerospace *** insight into the damage mechanisms caused by gamma irradiation,can improve the safety and resilience of *** paper is aimed at investigating the failure mode and damage of gamma-irradiated repurposed pultruded glass fibre-reinforced polyester subjected to lowvelocity impact using three types of non-destructive *** sets of differently layered configurations(CRC,WCRW,W2CR2C)consisting of chopped(c),roving(r),and weaved(w)fibre-reinforced polyester are applied in this *** hammer test is applied to evaluate the low-impact resistance properties of Gamma-irradiated composite at 100 kGy,500 kGy,and 1000 *** flexural and hardness tests are conducted to further assess the behaviour of irradiated polymer ***,the damage modes associated with the low-impact test are characterised using infrared thermography,flat panel digital radiography,and microscope *** results show that the composites irradiated with various doses display good impact resistance at 20 J,presenting minor damages in the form of dents on the *** irradiated CRC and WCRW display best impact resistance at 500 kGy,while W2CR2C at 1000 *** shows that the layering sequence of reinforcement fibre can influence the impact resistance of irradiated *** from that,the application of non-destructive techniques show different damage mechanisms in the form resin cracks,yarn splitting/fracture,and matrix splitting when the composites are exposed at high and low irradiation *** findings offer valuable data for the defence industry,particularly in the areas of repair,maintenance,and the development of new materials.

Internet communication is used as a mode of engagement by businesses, organizations, and even nations in a variety of contexts. As a result, both the quantity of data produced and the importance of the information that can be derived from it are growing. Multiple safeguards are required in order to ensure that the accessibility, integrity, and confidentiality of company information and assets are maintained. When it comes to protecting the privacy of a company and its reputation, adopting countermeasures and minimizing the damage caused by irreversible cyberattacks are both very crucial. It is possible to utilize both active and passive attack tactics, as well as social engineering tests, to evaluate the weaknesses of a corporation's cyber security. The identification and ranking of vulnerabilities both play an active part in the process of raising the level of corporate awareness, as well as closing shortfalls and enhancing measures. In this investigation, ethics committee reports and confidentiality agreements were followed in order to do a cyber security vulnerability assessment on seven separate organizations. These organizations represented the governmental sector, the corporate sector, and the civil society. In order to evaluate the effectiveness of the firms' cyber security infrastructures, security scans such as port, web, application-based system and network penetration tests, distributed denial of service attacks, and social engineering were carried out. The Common Vulnerability Scoring System (CVSS) was used in order to change the base score of each institution and to identify the vulnerabilities that were present. Enterprise networks, Cyber Security Analysis, Cyber Attacks, Penetration, and Vulnerability are some of the Keywords that can be found in this article. © 2024 IEEE.

Distributed generators (D.G.’s) enable us to generate, supply and be self-reliant on power while also allows us to supply power to meet the demand through virtual power plants. The virtual power plants also help us analyse, control, optimise, and help bridge the gap of demand and supply in these vast energy requirements. With this also comes challenges associated with securing physical systems, data protection and information privacy. Recent technological advancements have aided cybercriminals to disrupt operations by carrying out deliberate attacks on the energy sector. Though security researchers have tried to mitigate the risks, vulnerabilities, and it remains a challenge. This paper aims to present a comprehensive Edge-based security architecture to help reduce the risks and help secure the physical systems and ensure privacy and data protection. © 2021, The Author(s).

Due to significant dielectric properties of Mineral Oil (MO) it has been used as an insulating oil in Power Transformer (PT) and Distribution Transformer (DT). The critical functions of the insulating oil dies as it ages and needs to be replaced periodically. The ageing of insulating oil gives data that can be used to develop predictive model. With the use of predictive model one can predict the deterioration rate of an oil. The ageing model or predictive model requires a framework to streamline the ageing test on oils. The method is overwhelmed by various ideas of ageing model adopted from previous literature. Upon using the ageing framework, the new ageing method and standards can be developed in future. Hence, the review catapulted the designing of new ageing model to predict the deterioration of oil under transformer environment. © 2024 IEEE.

Construction companies that started to embrace the circular economy and sustainable development concepts in their organisational mission are often faced with technical and managerial challenges. The reason is that the use of sustainable building materials is not well understood. The aim of this article is to review the applications of sustainability concepts in the entire lifecycle of the building façade and to assess the alignment with universally recognised sustainable practices such as the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals. The novelty of this article is the tracing of the whole lifecycle of the most used type of façade from design and material selection to end of life, focusing particularly on the management of waste for achieving sustainability of the built environment. We review state of the art in facade waste management in Australia using published scholarly articles and industry practices. The findings show that while certain lifecycle stages, such as manufacturing and construction, are directly connected to the concept of sustainability, a few gaps within the application of sustainable core values have been revealed. The most significant knowledge gaps were identified: a lack of comparison of environmental impacts of recycled and virgin materials used, lack of consideration of transportation routes and distances, and the end-of-life waste management to divert façade waste from the landfill. Building construction projects encounter various uncertainties in achieving their objectives because of a wide range of causes, such as finance, technology, weather. The effects of these uncertainties on the project objectives are different during each stage of its life cycle (design, construction, and operation). However, due to the high level of sustainability objectives, green building projects can face even more inaccurate cost estimation, uncertain workforce availability, and green material availability risks. Green building projects are reported to confront more risks than conventional buildings because of the need to achieve sustainability goals. This article aims to explore risk mitigation measures in green building projects. To accomplish this, we review the fundamental risk treatment strategies (avoidance, transference, mitigation, escalation, and acceptance) documented in ‘The Project management Body of Knowledge (PMBOK® Guide)’. This study undertakes a comprehensive investigation to explore strategies for replacing current dielectric liquid understanding in transformers. Understanding existing literature fosters creativity and effective research responses. The review process incorporates data and text analysis. Statistical data from 1978 to 2022 is used to understand prevailing techniques, drawn from an analysis of 80+ research publications. Contributions include Ageing 34 %, blending 20 %, additive addition 17 %, modification 8 %, gas analysis 5 %, critical dielectric testing 5 %, case studies 2 %, and others 8 %. Remote communication is not new for the architecture, engineering and construction (AEC) industry and academia. Organisations started using what was common, called "conference rooms" with sophisticated technological equipment prepared for "conference calls" when face-to-face meetings were not possible, and the industries culture and work practices were rooted in face-to-face meetings. This was current practice until the beginning of 2020, with the emergence of the global COVID-19 pandemic. The pandemic forced people to have safe distances between them, to be isolated for long periods of time, and several restrictions to travel not being possible to meet face-to-face. This situation rapidly created a new need to find ways to communicate as alternatives to traditional face-to-face meetings, for "conference call rooms" anywhere and accessible at any time by everyone. The extended duration of the pandemic made organisations adapt to that new normal and remarkable new opportunities arose in a new way. This article explores recent situations in academia and industry that can highlight potential guidance towards the new normal in remote communication for learning–teaching and the AEC industry sectors. In conclusion, appropriate use of these electronic processes provides opportunities to significantly improve remote communication in future.
