Knowing the essential blending techniques covered by the insulating oil blending studies is crucial, as evidenced by the findings presented in them. Mapping the pertinent parameters to the corresponding technique is an important step in blending investigation. This thorough but perceptive evaluation relates the results of problems with the mixing procedure on different insulating fluids. The techniques employed in this context offer not only a preview but also specifics on the chosen blending process, important characteristics, intended usage, standards, unique testing, and software. In general, these data are used as a bundle to create new ideas for combining insulating fluid investigations. Future study will focus on using cutting-edge techniques to increase analysis speed through the use of comprehensive tools. This is relevant to the insulating oils that are used in the Distribution Transformer (DT) and the Power Transformer (PT).

The infrastructure we build is increasingly complicated and automated. After it is designed and constructed, it needs to be maintained and updated to sustain its functioning for far longer than the careers of its designers and builders. Continuity of engineering knowledge is necessary to make future updates and adapt to changing demands, conditions and technology in a safe and reliable manner. The Dutch storm surge barriers protect the low-lying hinterlands from flooding during extreme weather events. Each of the six barriers managed by the Directorate General of Public Works (Rijkswaterstaat) was designed at a different time, to different requirements, and using different types of contracts. This has resulted in six unique structures, some of which use systems and components found nowhere else. In 1997, the Maeslant Storm Surge Barrier was completed, pioneering the use of Design and Construct contracts for major hydraulic structures. Experience with maintaining this hallmark structure through its first decades of operation provides a valuable opportunity to reflect on the effect of contracting- and design choices. Little work has been done to evaluate different contract types on the basis of delivering long-term maintainability and reducing the knowledge continuity challenge. This study views the Maeslant Barrier in the context of the earlier storm surge barriers with regard to facilitating knowledge continuity through design. It was found that the interdependent behaviour of subsystems in a high-reliability structure results in a notable increase in engineering complexity, especially in the control systems, increasing the challenge of achieving knowledge continuity. Examining the knowledge flows in a design-and-construct contract shows several advantages, but also that it does not naturally facilitate attention to important but less obvious aspects of maintainability, such as those related to knowledge continuity. © 2024 Academic Conferences Limited. The aging and deterioration of asphalt binders are critical factors that impact the performance and longevity of the road surface. This bibliometric analysis seeks to comprehensively capture the knowledge gaps and recent developments in asphalt binder aging by identifying the intellectual structure, influence authors, institutions, and emerging themes. The analysis encompasses a wide range of scholarly publications retrieved from Scopus databases, utilizing quantitative analyses through bibliometric indicators and visualizations. Between 2002 and 2022 there were 3166 publications on asphalt aging. The findings illustrate that annual publication is to be expected to increase over the years. The keyword aging was found the most predominant keyword, appearing 626 times, boasting a total link strength of 597, and exhibiting 49 connections to other keywords. Furthermore, bibliometric analysis revealed that researchers are focusing on four important groups, namely performance evaluation methods, additives, application, and mechanisms. It was found that recent research advancements in asphalt aging show promising potential for improving durability and performance, with further studies needed on layered double hydroxide (LDH), styrene–butadiene-styrene (SBS)-modified asphalt, and waste cooking oil (WCO) as a rejuvenator. Additionally, the study explores recent aging simulation techniques, particularly the use of ultraviolet (UV) lamps for simulating photo-oxidation aging, a method still under development. It also emphasizes the need for more accurate aging simulation methods for porous asphalt mixtures, which are more susceptible to environmental factors. This research offers valuable insights that can inspire researchers with new ideas and foster collaboration or involvement in asphalt aging research. © The Author(s), under exclusive licence to Springer Nature Switzerland AG 2024.

Unsignalized intersections in urban areas require revamping when traffic volume becomes high or movement is unsafe. In developing countries, due to heavy land use and unplanned growth of cities, road extension is not feasible. So, the performance of unsignalized intersections has to be improved by utilizing the available road space optimally. This study proposes a methodology to revamp isolated unsignalized intersections in congested urban areas by comparing the performance of four space efficient alternative solutions - Mini Roundabout, Speed Hump, Right Turn Short Lane, and Median U-Turn. The best solution was decided based on multicriteria decision making to make a holistic improvement in intersection performance. Four performance criteria were considered - flow, average delay, safety, and vehicular emission. VISSIM is used to simulate two isolated unsignalized intersections, and then the network characteristics of the proposed alternative solutions are configured to test their performances based on the four chosen criteria. Multi-criteria decision making approach has shown that mini roundabout is the most suitable design to improve the performance of isolated unsignalized intersections. © 2022, Aracne Editrice. Having known by the facts on the ageing studies on insulating oil, it is ever important to know the key indicators encompassed within this. One of the crucial things in ageing study is to map the relevant parameters with the method which it is related to. Here, in this short review however insightful way is to relate the outcomes of depolymerization of paper insulation during the ageing process on various insulating fluids. In this context, the indicators besieged in the content provides not only a foreknowledge but also details of ageing method adopted, key properties, target application, standards used, special tests and software used. Overall, these data serve as a package to develop new concepts in ageing studies on insulating fluids. The scope for the future research encompasses with state-of-the-art method to improve the speed of analysis via comprehensive tools. This applies to insulating oils used in both the Power Transformer (PT) and the Distribution Transformer (DT).

Due to its significance as a functional component in power transformers (PT) and distribution transformers (DT), the dielectric liquid has been the subject of the current study. To create a new dielectric liquid that will outperform its predecessors and uphold the highest standards, dielectric research was conducted worldwide. Under this method additive addition, comparison of various testing, key properties or properties focused, various advantages and disadvantages of the research, target applications, various standards used in the methodology, any other special studies undertaken, and the analysis tool used are all included. The result of these discussions besieges the critical failure elements of the liquid dielectric with novel methods and mitigation techniques. Researchers will undoubtedly gain a wealth of knowledge from the debates offered, allowing them to examine different approaches in one location and select the best standard and methodology for their research.

In India, agriculture is the main foundation of income for people. It has a momentous influence on the national economy. Nevertheless, there are obstacles in agriculture these days because of the relocation of society from rural to urban areas. Crop output can be increased, but not entirely by monitoring environmental factors. There aren't many things that significantly lower productivity. Therefore, automation needs to be used in farming to solve these issues. an automated irrigation system, saving the farmer money, time, then effort. Manual intervention is necessary for the irrigation of farmland using traditional methods. The amount of human intervention in irrigation can be reduced with automated equipment. Constant crop monitoring and sensing through the conjunction of sensors and the Internet of Things (IOT) to inform agriculturalists about crop growing and yield times on a regular basis, resulting in high crop productivity and accurate product delivery to customers at the appropriate time and location. Therefore, we use IOT-based smart agriculture techniques to solve this issue. In order to gather and process field data, this project has sensors for temperature, humidity, soil moisture, and rain detection. To remotely manage and monitor sensor data, these sensors are coupled with recognized web technologies in the form of a wireless sensor system.

Currently, the vast majority of international interactions and activities related to trade, government, culture, social interaction, and economics take place online. These interactions involve people, non-governmental organizations, governments, and government agencies at all levels. Recently, a sizeable number of commercial firms and government organizations all over the world have been presented with the challenge offered by cyberattacks as well as the danger represented by wireless communication technologies. A very little amount of time has passed since this had place. We were able to develop a model for the risk of cyber security by making use of Bayesian networks. This model has the capability of locating the point of cyber security that is weak and merging two different cyber analysis models. Among these is the activityquality model, which shows how individuals and/or groups adhere to the legal requirements for cyber security. Evidence describing the critical component of cyber security for a research reactor's RPS may be produced via the cyber security risk model. An further model that shows the probability of a cyberattack against RPS architecture is the cyber security risk model.

Internet communication is used as a mode of engagement by businesses, organizations, and even nations in a variety of contexts. As a result, both the quantity of data produced and the importance of the information that can be derived from it are growing. Multiple safeguards are required in order to ensure that the accessibility, integrity, and confidentiality of company information and assets are maintained. When it comes to protecting the privacy of a company and its reputation, adopting countermeasures and minimizing the damage caused by irreversible cyberattacks are both very crucial. It is possible to utilize both active and passive attack tactics, as well as social engineering tests, to evaluate the weaknesses of a corporation’s cyber security. The identification and ranking of vulnerabilities both play an active part in the process of raising the level of corporate awareness, as well as closing shortfalls and enhancing measures. In this investigation, ethics committee reports and confidentiality agreements were followed in order to do a cyber security vulnerability assessment on seven separate organizations. These organizations represented the governmental sector, the corporate sector, and the civil society. In order to evaluate the effectiveness of the firms' cyber security infrastructures, security scans such as port, web, application-based system and network penetration tests, distributed denial of service attacks, and social engineering were carried out. The Common Vulnerability Scoring System (CVSS) was used in order to change the base score of each institution and to identify the vulnerabilities that were present. Enterprise networks, Cyber Security Analysis, Cyber Attacks, Penetration, and Vulnerability are some of the Keywords that can be found in this article.

The advancement of technology has an influence on consumers' decision to switch from executing your financial information in a conventional way to doing so online. Contracts are encouraged by the use of cloud computers or its key feature of accessibility from everywhere. The enormous amount of data handled by the cloud platform used to facilitate money transfers necessitates maintaining a high degree of security for all those important passwords stored there. Although the conventional authentication methods continue to work well in protecting data in cloud, more sophisticated cyber attacks against cloud-based storage of information still exist. Additionally, using typical cryptographic primitives to secure cloud data requires a significant amount of operation time due to the need to execute verification checks for both valid and illegitimate access control. © 2022 IEEE.
