According to the effective power γ≈0.5~1.3, we resolve the time-dependent nonlinear Schrodinger equation and find series bright solitons. The analysis could help in the search for matter-wave soliton trains in degenerate Femi gas.

We obtain a Fokker-Planck equation describing experimental data on the collective motion of locusts. The noise is of internal origin and due to the discrete character and finite number of constituents of the swarm. The stationary probability distribution shows a rich phenomenology including nonmonotonic behavior of several order and disorder transition indicators in noise intensity. This complex behavior arises naturally as a result of the randomness in the system. Its counterintuitive character challenges standard interpretations of noise induced transitions and calls for an extension of this theory in order to capture the behavior of certain classes of biologically motivated models. Our results suggest that the collective switches of the group’s direction of motion might be due to a random ergodic effect and, as such, they are inherent to group formation.

The numerical solution of large scale multi-dimensional convection diffusion equations often requires efficient parallel *** this work,we consider the extension of a recently proposed non-overlapping domain decomposition method for two dimensional time dependent convection diffusion equations with variable coefficients. By combining predictor-corrector technique,modified upwind differences with explicitimplicit coupling,the method under consideration provides intrinsic parallelism while maintaining good stability and ***,for multi-dimensional problems, the method can be readily implemented on a multi-processor system and does not have the limitation on the choice of subdomains required by some other similar predictor-corrector or stabilized *** properties of the method are demonstrated in this work through both rigorous mathematical analysis and numerical experiments.

The problem of reconstruction of 3d models from unordered image set is considered. To begin a small number of images is processed and initial model is built, then other images are processed and the model is refined. Firstly the problem of image ordering is considered. Secondly the original measure "determinacy of fundamental matrix" is introduced. This measure allows easily to estimate the precision of reconstruction without actually doing it. The results for real and synthetic sequences are presented.

We propose a method to measure the carrier-envelop phase (CEP) and the intensity of a few-cycle pulse by controlling the non-sequentiai double ionization (NSDI) process. By using an additional static electric field, we can change the momentum distribution of the double-charged ions parallel to the laser polarization from an asymmetrical double-hump structure to a nearly symmetrical one. It is found that the ratio between the strength of the static electric field and that of the laser field is sensitive to the CEP but robust against the intensity fluctuation. Therefore we can determine the OEP of a few-cycle pulse precisely by measuring the static electric field. Fhrthermore, if the CEP of the few-cycle pulse is fixed at a certain value, we can also calibrate the intensity of the laser pulse by the static electric field.
