The development of technology and artificial intelligence, especially in the era of Industrial Revolution 4.0 almost covers all fields, one of which is e-learning. In its development, it is very important to determine the factors to produce the quality of e-learning. Machine learning can help to find various solutions in the real world, especially to solve problems for which a specific algorithm has not been found. The implementation of e-learning is often ineffective and not on target which has an impact on learning achievement that is not achieved, this is due to several things namely the learning model is applied in general, the learning materials and weights are applied equally to all users. Seeing these problems, it is necessary to have a model to classify students according to their abilities, talents, and interests before starting learning to achieve their goals to be achieved. This paper aims to create a machine learning approach model to determine the level of ability and needs of students before starting learning which can reduce disparities between students and follow up learning materials. With the machine learning based on learning model, e-learning can provide teaching materials according to the abilities, and interests of students, sustainably and improve the quality of students. © 2022 IEEE.

Automation testing using silk test workbench for website

Automation testing is essential to carry out functional testing quickly and precisely. Software testing is beneficial for testers doing many testing processes according to the existing scenarios. So, there is an urgency to explore a more advanced solution to replace the traditional approach. Silk Test Workbench is a tool for automation testing that can accelerate the functional testing of complex applications. For this research, we proposed automation testing on website applications with various testing scenarios that have been made. The visual test recording method is used for automation testing with Silk Test Workbench. Silk Test Workbench can speed up testing time, make a good test asset testing scenario, make it easier for users to do testing, and speed up the process to get the result in the form of a screen capture of the testing process. A comparison of testing time has been performed. The automatic testing time with the scenarios is 2 hours 46 minutes. The automatic testing time will be 2 hours 36 minutes using the all-in-one scenario. This study also used questionnaires from colleagues in the Quality Assurance field to get maximum User Acceptance Test results.

Air pollution is a pressing issue in cities, and managing air quality poses a challenge for urban designers and decision-makers. This study proposes a Digital Twin (DT) Smart City integrated with Mixed Reality technology to enhance visualization and collaboration for addressing urban air pollution. The research adopts an applied research approach, with a focus on developing a DT framework. A use case of DT development for Jakarta, the capital of Indonesia, is presented. By integrating air quality data, meteorological information, traffic patterns, and urban infrastructure data, the DT provides a comprehensive understanding of air pollution dynamics. The visualization capabilities of the DT, utilizing Mixed Reality technology, facilitate effective decision-making and the identification of strategies for managing air quality. However, further research is needed to address data management challenges to build a DT for Smart City at scale. © 2023 The Authors. Published by Elsevier B.V.

BERT base model for toxic comment analysis on Indonesian social media

Social media is an online media that functions as a platform for users to participate, share, create, and exchange information through various forums and social networks. The rapid increase in social media activity causes an increase in the number of comments on social media. This is prone to triggering debate due to the easy formation of open discussions between social media users. However, the debate often triggers the emergence of negative things, causing great fights on social media. Social media users often use comments containing toxic words to argue and corner a party or group. This study conducted an experiment to detect comments containing toxic sentences on social media in Indonesia using a Pre-Trained Model that was trained for Indonesian. This study performed a multilabel classification and evaluated the classification results generated by the Multilingual BERT (MBERT), IndoBERT, and Indo Roberta Small models. The optimal result of this study is to use the IndoBERT model with an F1 Score of 0.8897.

We have been developing MEIMAT, meiji micro-processor (MPU) architecture design tools. Our MEIMAT has a feature to implement arbitrary instructions. However, the MEIMAT does not have a function to simulate those instructions. Therefore, we have newly developed a function of simulation to dynamically execute the designed instructions. The result of this dynamic simulation can be measured by the developed module viewers. It is also demonstrated that a higher performance MPU can be designed by our improved MEIMAT. © 2022 IEEE.

Serverless utilization in microservice e-learning platform

Since cloud computing becoming the trend, the way servers being implemented slowly moves to the cloud. Companies did not need to buy a physical server machine to deploy an app. Having a private server on cloud infrastructure indeed already reduce some cost for on-premise server maintenance. However, there is still a cost for usage when the server is inactive or having low to no traffic at all. Serverless deployment offer function as a service where application is deployed as a function and cost is billed per function call. This paper proposed a solution where there are two deployment that works in turn between infrastructure as a service and function as a service deployment. This dual deployment offered the system to use the virtual private server or deployed instance on active hours, and switch to serverless functions on inactive hours. Switching to serverless on low traffic hours will cut the usage and cost of the microservice app by the least 25%, while having performance slightly comparable to microservice app deployed to instances.

When making a new microprocessor (MPU), the instruction set architecture is considered. It is also necessary to design how to work the instructions in hardware circuits of the MPU. As a solution to these, we previously proposed a method of expressing the instruction in two ways of semantic expression and functional expression. We also developed a tool that can visualize the instruction. In this paper, we have improved this method by extending a usual MPU to a meta-instruction for any MPU. We have also developed a conversion method for the meta-instruction using a relationship between the semantic and the functional expressions. Then we verified how well our meta-instruction can represent the usual instructions. It is confirmed that most of them can be represented by the meta-instruction. Since our developed tool user can design the meta-instructions from either semantic or functional expression and both expressions can be automatically converted to each other, they can design the instruction of a new MPU and can understand hardware circuits for the MPU instruction by the functional expression. © 2022 IEEE.

Blockchain, Metaverse & NFT are technologies that were booming during the Pandemic. As a derivative product of blockchain, the Non-Fungible Token (NFT) is one of the technologies that has attracted the most interest from investors and the public because of its potential benefits and has always been closely associated with the Metaverse as a main purposes research of the NFTs. This paper is to explore the possibilities and provide an overview of the current use of NFT technology so that it can provide insight for further research & gap with the big picture that it is trying to present in this paper. However, after exploring further related to NFT in this research, it was found that the problem that most people are trying to solve through NFT is related to the topic of Decentralization & Web3 not as a Metaverse main backbone. © 2023 IEEE.

The rise of blockchain technology and smart contracts has brought widespread attention due to their capacity to transform multiple industrial sectors through decentralized, transparent, secure transactions. However, despite their promise to revolutionize various fields worldwide, lingering concerns regarding security risks impede their adoption rate. Addressing these concerns is crucial now more than ever;therefore, we conducted a comprehensive literature review within our study's scope that focused on published papers between 2014-2023 centered around security risks concerning blockchain and smart contracts. Our systematic approach using the PRISMA checklist analyzed nine categorized research model-based primary studies while recognizing vulnerabilities in smart contract development and providing best practices to mitigate such issues. These findings benefit both researchers and practitioners as they showcase how acknowledging these vulnerabilities can further develop into exploring more significant aspects of blockchain technology's security issues and smart contract development processes. Our study contributes significantly by expanding knowledge in this field while providing novel insights valuable for individuals involved in designing or implementing blockchain technologies. © 2023 IEEE.

A location's Take-up Rate was significantly influenced by its Internet connectivity and availability. The purpose of this research is to answer concerns about internal Internet Service Provider issues that affect Internet connectivity in clusters of West Java, Indonesia. It also aims to evaluate the results of models that forecast how these internal factors will affect internet connectivity. According to the research findings, the FTTH Cluster has eight significant Internet predictor connectivity out of 18 elements. Activation delay and Administration Documentation of Activation with Connectivity were the two major parameters modeled out of the 18 components. Artificial Neural Network (ANN), Support Vector Machine (SVM), and Decision Tree (DT) models were used to predict Internet Broadband Connectivity Classification based on the two most important variables. According to the study, ANN is the best model, with 99% accuracy and 99.6% precision when compared to SVM and DT. Furthermore, it exceeds previous studies that used the ANN model and achieved 97.92% accuracy. © 2023 IEEE.
