Real-time optimization using gradient adaptive selection and classification from infrared sensors measurement for esterification oleic acid with glycerol

Purpose-The production of glycerol derivatives by the esterification process is subject to many constraints related to the yield of the production target and the lack of process *** accurate monitoring and controlling of the process can improve production yield and *** purpose of this paper is to propose a real-time optimization(RTO)using gradient adaptive selection and classification from infrared sensor measurement to cover various disturbances and uncertainties in the ***/methodology/approach-The integration of the esterification process optimization using self-optimization(SO)was developed with classification process was combined with necessary condition optimum(NCO)as gradient adaptive selection,supported with laboratory scaled medium wavelength infrared(mid-IR)sensors,and measured the proposed optimization system indicator in the batch *** Process Modeling and Notation(BPMN 2.0)was built to describe the tasks of SO workflow in collaboration with NCO as an abstraction for the conceptual ***,Stateflow modeling was deployed to simulate the three states of gradient-based adaptive control combined with support vector machine(SVM)classification and Arduino microcontroller for ***-This new method shows that the real-time optimization responsiveness of control increased product yield up to 13 percent,lower error measurement with percentage error 1.11 percent,reduced the process duration up to 22 minutes,with an effective range of stirrer rotation set between 300 and 400 rpm and final temperature between 200 and 210℃ which was more efficient,as it consumed less *** limitations/implications-In this research the authors just have an experiment for the esterification process using glycerol,but as a development concept of RTO,it would be possible to apply for another chemical reaction or *** implications-This research introduces new development of an RTO approach to optimal con

The development of technology and the internet is one of the critical factors that must be considered by companies especially those engaged in e-commerce. The web-based application is one of the tools used by e-commerce in making it easier for users to conduct transactions and data processing. The application that developed must be calculated carefully so the effectiveness and efficiency can be appropriately maintained. In this research, the calculation of the size of the software, effort, time, staff, and the total cost needed to work on an application was calculated using the Function Point Analysis (FPA) and Constructive Cost Model II (CoCoMo II) methods. The application that has been analyzed and estimated is Merchant Application Portal (MAP) which is an application designed by one of the companies in Indonesia. The estimation results obtained, scilicet the size of software amounted to 10,02972 KLOC, effort amounted to 48.521 Person Month, time development of 13 months, staff needed as many as four staff, and the estimated cost amounted to IDR 13,828,852.79 or $ 971.54. In addition, this calculation can be used by other companies to find out the resources needed in making a software to be more effective and efficient. © 2021 ACM.

The design of enzymes with complex active sites that mediate multistep reactions remains an outstanding challenge. With serine hydrolases as a model system, we combined the generative capabilities of RFdiffusion with an ensemble generation method for assessing active site preorganization at each step in the reaction to design enzymes starting from minimal active site descriptions. Experimental characterization revealed catalytic efficiencies (kcat/Km) up to 2.2 × 105 M-1 s-1 and crystal structures that closely match the design models (Cα root mean square deviations <1 angstrom). Selection for structural compatibility across the reaction coordinate enabled identification of new catalysts remove with five different folds distinct from those of natural serine hydrolases. Our de novo approach provides insight into the geometric basis of catalysis and a roadmap for designing enzymes that catalyze multistep transformations.

Quantum computing is at the forefront of technological advancement and has the potential to revolutionize various fields, including quantum chemistry. Choosing an appropriate quantum programming language becomes critical as quantum education and research increase. In this paper, we comprehensively compare two leading quantum programming languages, Qiskit and PennyLane, focusing on their suitability for teaching and research. We delve into their basic and advanced usage, examine their learning curves, and evaluate their capabilities in quantum computing experiments. We also demonstrate using a quantum programming language to build a half adder and a machine learning model. Our study reveals that each language has distinct advantages. While PennyLane excels in research applications due to its flexibility to adjust parameters in detail and access multiple sources of real quantum devices, Qiskit stands out in education because of its web-based graphical user interface and smaller code size. In this study,we utilize a potentially versatile Bayesian parameter approach to compute the value of the pion charge radius and quantify its uncertainty from several experimental e^(+)e^(-) datasets for the pion vector form *** employ dispersion relations to model the pion vector form factor to extract the *** model selection is used to determine the order of polynomial appearing in the form factor formulation that can be supported by the data,adapting the computation of Bayes evidence and Bayesian effective complexity based on Occam's *** findings indicate that five out of six used datasets favor the nine-parameter model for radius extraction,and accordingly,we average the radii from the *** some inconsistencies with the most updated radius values,our approach may serve as a more intuitive method of addressing parameter estimations in dispersion theory.

Example based machine translation is one of the approaches in machine translation. The concept uses the corpus of two languages and then translates the input text to desired target text by proper matching. The different languages have different language structure of the subject-object-verb (SOV) alignment. The matching is then arranged to give proper meaning in target text language and to form proper structure. This paper, describes the Example Based Machine Translation using Natural Language Processing demo. The proposed EBMT framework can be used for automatic translation of text by reusing the examples of previous translations through the use of Fuzzy which is proposed work. This framework comprises of three phases, matching, alignment and recombination. Same type of machine translation is possible through use of soft computing tool (Fuzzy Logic). © 2019 ICAI 2015 - WORLDCOMP 2015. All rights reserved.

With the advancement of technology, information systems have become increasingly necessary in almost all areas, including healthcare. One of the technologies used to facilitate this progress is electronic medical records (EMRs). Although EMRs have improved service delivery and patient care in healthcare, they also pose risks to patient data due to cybercrime attacks, which can result in data theft and alteration of medical records. Medical identity theft has become a major issue in healthcare systems around the world, While technology has been beneficial in improving service delivery and patient care in healthcare, it has also introduced numerous risks to patient safety and ultimately impacted patient health. Cybersecurity issues have advanced with technology, thus increasing the rate at which medical identity thefts occur. The healthcare industry lags in curbing cybersecurity issues, and thus, it is vulnerable to many cyberattacks. To address these risks, techniques, and methods are needed to ensure the security of EMR systems against cybercrime attacks. This study used a literature review method and identified eleven articles that met inclusion and exclusion criteria. Through analysis of these articles, several techniques and methods were identified to secure the privacy system in EMRs, such as mIBE-AES, DES, and RSA methods. The literature review revealed that Encryption Data is the safest technique to use, as it is standardized, widely accessible, and cost-effective. Furthermore, mIBE-AES is the safest method for EMRs because it is both secure and efficient for storing medical record documents. Performance evaluations were conducted to test the level of security against cybercrime attacks. © 2023 IEEE.

Selection and prioritization of software requirements represents an area of interest in Search-Based Software Engineering (SBSE) and its main focus is finding and selecting a set of requirements that may be part of a software release. This paper uses a systematic review to investigate which SBSE approaches have been proposed to address software requirement selection and prioritization problems. The search strategy identified 30 articles in this area and they were analyzed for 18 previously established quality criteria. The results of this systematic review show which aspects of the requirements selection and prioritization problems were addressed by researchers, the methods approaches and search techniques currently adopted to address these problems, and the strengths and weaknesses of each of these techniques. The review provides a map showing the gaps and trends in the field, which can be useful to guide further research. © 2013 Springer-Verlag.

Exams are an important component of any educational program, including online education. In any test, there is a possibility of cheating, so its detection and prevention is important. This study aims to conduct an in-depth study of the online exam monitoring model approach based on facial recognition used to detect cheating. Based on the inclusion and exclusion criteria designed, 13 selected studies were obtained. From these studies, we conducted further analysis regarding the Face Detection Method, Face Recognition Method, Initial Feature, Behavior Analysis and Evaluation Metrics used in each study so as to provide answers to research questions. the most frequently used Face detection method was Viola-Jones with a presentation of 20%, then CNN and MTCNN with a total presentation of 21%. The most widely used face recognition method in selected studies is CNN and metrics Accuracy is one of the most frequently used evaluations with a percentage of 33%. While the features that are usually used to detect cheating during online exams include facial motion and head pose which occupies the first position. The second is eye movement, then multiple faces gaze estimation and facial expression is in third place. Other features that also play a role in analyzing cheating behavior are mouth detection, facial vector, landmark location, gesture and posture. © 2022 IEEE.

This study proposes a smart contract risk management model built on the NIST Risk Management Framework (RMF) to help identify, assess, and manage the risks of smart contracts. While smart contracts are beloved as a means to automate and disintermediate business processes, their security vulnerabilities can be critical. The main issue discussed in this paper is the lack of a holistic approach to risk management smart contracts. The resulting framework consists of six steps: Risk identification, assessment, prioritization, mitigation, testing, and continuous monitoring (and was developed through reviewing existing literature on smart contract security and the NIST RMF). It is recommended that a case study be performed to prove the proposed model's effectiveness in managing the risks of smart contracts and minimizing financial losses and reputational harm. The paper presents a risk management framework for smart contracts to increase trust and adoption to enhance security while reducing financial losses and reputation damage. This has wider implications for the security of smart contracts and can be used as a starting point for future work. This study is expected to significantly contribute to smart contract security by introducing an organized way to address these contracts' risks using the NIST RMF. © 2023 IEEE.
