The current trend in the development of non-destructive testing of materials in the building industry is mainly concerned with the detection of flaws and defects in concrete elements and structures, and acoustic methods are prospects in this field. An important indicator of the quality of concrete is strength. However, non-destructive testing methods do not allow direct linking of the electrical characteristics with the strength. In this paper, in the form of a graphical dependence using an electromechanical installation based on experimental studies, the relationship between strength and acoustic impedance is shown.

Formulating typhoon response plans and effectively implementing them can improve the resilience of coastal powersystems. This type of plan mainly includes line hardening and unit dispatching. Initially, main typhoon scenarios are determined based on historical data, and the line failure conditions are simulated. Furthermore, a unit commitment and power flow optimization model is established to determine the optimal line hardening and unit dispatch instructions. During real-time typhoon events, the intensity and path may deviate from the main scenarios, necessitating flexible execution. Therefore, a similarity mechanism and a multi-stage execution method are established to ensure that the plan’s execution maximizes its benefits. A case study validates the effectiveness of the proposed response plan construction and execution method.

Hydrogen electrolysis systems have seen considerable interest from energy communities as a potential solution for shifting from fossil-based energy resources to clean energy alternatives. The system consists of transforming electricity into hydrogen via water electrolysis. As it is expected to have a large-scale connection with the grid to compensate the fluctuation of renewables, it is important to understand the system’s technical and economic feasibility. Therefore, this work aims to provide a high-level techno-economic assessment for the participation of a large-scale electrolysis plant in hydrogen and grid ancillary service markets. The plant generates revenue from two sources: hydrogen and frequency regulation. Based on market prices of electricity and hydrogen, a linear programming (LP) optimization has shown that a 50MW electrolysis plant can generate a 33% increase in profit if the plant includes the grid support market in the business model. Additionally, simulations under unstable grid frequency have shown high reactivity of the system to maintain grid stability.

The peculiarities of users' reorientation in the conditions of digitalization to the active use of various resources on the Internet are revealed. Prerequisites for the spread of various gadgets (smartphones, tablets, laptops) have been determined, which contributes to the intensive growth of specialized applications that make it possible to satisfy the needs of consumers certain groups in digital products. It has been proven that the presence of competition between companies implies the creation of innovative products on a permanent basis in accordance with market demands. A comprehensive analysis of paying users was conducted and it was determined that a significant share is made up of representatives of generation Z, who actively use advanced digital products and quickly reorient from one mobile application to another. The expediency of developing and implementing an effective marketing strategy for promoting the appropriate mobile application on the market and forming close communications with consumers on a long-term basis, which involves the use of appropriate digital tools, is substantiated. The feasibility of developing and bringing new educational software to the market has been proven, since in 2022 there will be more than 520,000 mobile applications in the field of education, which indicates a significant demand among users of these products. The expediency of the introduction of mobile applications by higher education institutions for individual educational programs, which will contain thematic educational content and feedback forms with students and other interested persons, is substantiated.
