In general, public or private organizations or companies have used information-based technology as a support to improve business performance to be more effective and efficient in order to achieve a company's business goals. Given the large contribution of information technology in the application of hotel applications as a supporting information system, it is a vital system that must avoid risks that can hinder and cause harm to the hotel management business processes. Therefore, it is necessary to carry out risk management using the COBIT 5 framework to manage possible risks that may occur based on the APO12 (Manage Risk) domain. From the evaluation results of the data obtained through observation and interviews as well as the calculation of the results of the questionnaire based on 6 APO12 subdomains, the results of the risk management level capability assessment in hotel applications are still at level 3 or have reached the level of established process with the target to be achieved at level 4 resulting in a gap of 1 level. Based on the results obtained, it is necessary to propose recommendations that can be used by hotels in improving the application of information technology risk management so that in the future it can achieve the expected target level so that the APO12 level of capability can increase and become more optimal. © 2023 IEEE.

Virtualization technologies are still growing bigger and faster. Despite the greatness of its advancement, the costume industry is still very accessible when it comes to real trials. Off-the-shelf stuff are inadequate details for the desired individual to assess its in-depth utility for each garment trying on for a second, including custom stuff are much harder to try out right away. To this end, 2D image-based 3D reconstruction inclusive of touchable-virtualized space is accessible easier to stuff details for mans' decision making in purchasing. We establish the overall end-to-end pipeline from reconstruction until visualization for one instance to be triable on its stuff for a moment. As an expectation, our proposed approach can bring objects into the experimental area and use them immediately without any obstacle. © 2023 IEEE.

Sleep is the natural state of relaxation for human being. Sleep quality is an essential yet frequently neglected aspect of sleep in general. Sleep quality is essential because it allows the body to restore itself and prepare for the next day. The standard method for evaluating sleep quality was subjective evaluation. Actigraphy devices, which can measure the sleep cycle, are now widely available. This study developed a method using Fuzzy Logic and an actigraphy device to measure and classify sleep quality. The fuzzy logic method was developed in several stages, which are determining the sleep quality measurement parameters, constructing the fuzzy set for each input variable, and developing the fuzzy rules. To evaluate the proposed fuzzy model, five individuals were invited to participate in the experiment and required to complete the PSQI subjective sleep questionnaire. The evaluation result shows that our proposed Fuzzy model achieves lower error compared to the existing method. © 2023 The Authors. Published by Elsevier B.V.

Cardiovascular disease is one of the dangerous non-communicable disorders or diseases that has become one of the causes of death worldwide. Various studies have been conducted to prevent cardiovascular disease in the world. This study analyzed cardiovascular disease medical record data from the Kaggle public dataset by implementing correlational analysis combined with association rule mining to identify variables that are the predominant cause of cardiovascular disease. Correlational analysis can analyze the interrelationships between variables in a dataset, but not in depth. Association rule mining can identify the interrelationships of variables in the form of frequent item sets, which can be calculated for their support and confidence values. The result of this study is a combination of correlation analysis with association rule mining that can identify predominant variables to cause cardiovascular disease. Supplier evaluation has a crucial role in maintaining efficiency in the food industry supply chain. Machine learning approaches can be employed to formulate models aimed at analyzing and evaluating supplier performance. Previous research has successfully designed decision tree and neural network models for assessing suppliers in the food industry with accuracies of 84.2% and 92.8% separately. Recognizing the opportunity to improve the model's performance, this study aims to advancing the machine learning models accuracy for analyzing and evaluating suppliers in the food industry. Two main models are proposed to enhance model accuracy: ensemble methods and support vector machine. This research has successfully designed a supplier evaluation model and demonstrated that the ensemble method - gradient boosting model outperforms other ensemble methods and support vector machine which is achieved a accuracy of 93.6% on a cross-validation dataset. The development of a dashboard is required to implement the supplier evaluation model using machine learning, facilitating decision-makers in evaluating and controlling supplier performance. © 2023 The Authors. Electrodermal activity (EDA) is a general term for all electrical phenomena occurring on the skin, both passive and active. EDA measurements are used by researchers to measure levels of stress, emotion, mental strain, and so on. Measuring human stress levels, emotions, and mental strain are generally associated with the skin conductance response. The function GSR sensor is not only used to read people's psychology but also can be used as a pain sensor used to read the degree of pain in the skin. This pilot study uses sample data from ***. The *** data is galvanic skin response sensor data. The output of this sensor is the conductivity value that occurs in the skin. The data obtained from *** will be extracted using the mean, standard deviation, maximum, minimum, RMS, skewness, and peak-to-peak characteristics. The extracted functions are selected using the forward selection method. The results of the feature selection are three features with an accuracy percentage greater than 50%, namely the mean feature, the RMS feature, and the skewness feature. The machine learning models used are bagged tree, SVM, and K-NN models. Of the three models used, the bagged tree model has the highest accuracy rate, at 98.05%, with an F1 score is 0.9807. The KNN model with k=10 has the lowest level of accuracy compared to other models, at 96.75%. © 2023 IEEE.

Pupillometry measures pupil size, and several open-source algorithms are available to analyse pupillometry data. However, only a few studies compared these algorithms’ accuracy and computational resources. This study aims to compare the accuracy of computer vision-based algorithms (Swirski, Starburst, PuRe, ElSe, ExCuSe algorithms) and the machine learning algorithm, DeepLabCut, to the double-blinded human examiners (gold-standard). Training of DeepLabCut with different architectures and a variable number of markers (2-9 markers) was done on an open-source dataset. The duration of training was statistically longer for the ResNet152 model compared to the MobileNet model. The pupil diameters in computer vision-based software such as PuRe, Starburst, and Swirski were statistically different from human measurements. MobileNet 2 and 3 marker models were the closest to the human measurements. In conclusion, this work highlights the efficiency of lower marker models based on MobileNet architecture in DeepLabCut, which consumes fewer computational resources and is more accurate. © 2024 Institute of Information Technology, Warsaw University of Life sciences - SGGW. Data selection can be used in conjunction with adaptive filtering algorithms to avoid unnecessary weight updating and thereby reduce computational overhead. This paper presents a novel correntropy-based data selection method as an alternative to conventional data selection mechanisms based on squared error values. We developed a variable correntropy sensing algorithm to maximize the instantaneous correntropy function for the Gaussian kernel function to mitigate the impact of impulse noise and other forms of noise that can be disregarded in data selection. The proposed data selection mechanism can be implemented with any adaptive filtering algorithm. In simulations, the proposed method (implemented with the least mean squared algorithm) outperformed comparable error-based data selection schemes in terms of hit rate and miss rate, and the resulting weight updating ratio was close to the expected weight updating ratio. © 2023 IEEE. Wireless Sensor Network (WSN) is a wireless self-organizing network based on sensor nodes. Small batteries or power supply with weak computing power are usually used, so how to effectively control the energy consumption of nodes has become a very important optimization goal. This study proposes a useful method for cluster head election in WSNs to extend network lifetime using the Gannet Optimization Algorithm (GOA). Due to the disparity in the levels of difficulty presented by the several tasks, doing domain adaptation in an adversarial way may result in an imbalanced learning process. In the MNIST dataset, this phenomenon also manifests itself in the form of domain adaptation for color-shifted distribution. In this particular situation, the domain classifier has a higher tendency to fit more quickly, but the category classifier fits quite poorly in the learning process. In order to address this problem, a new hyper-parameter has been added to the loss function in order to strike a compromise between the learning speed of the domain and the categorical classifier. By using this technique, the categorical classifier may better match the data while still maintaining the same level of performance as the domain classifier. In order to determine whether or not making use of this hyper-parameter is useful, the phenomena in question is examined using three distinct color-shifted settings. Following the evaluations, it was discovered that the newly introduced hyper-parameter is capable of coping with imbalanced learning while simultaneously engaging in domain adaptation. © 2023 IEEE.
