Evaluating student performance is important for universities and institutions in the current student education landscape because it helps them create models that work better for students. The automation of various features related to fundamental student traits and behaviours that manage massive amounts of data efficiently processes these. To handle student records that included information about students' behaviour and how it related to their academic performance, the companies employed models of classification with mining concepts. Additionally, the quality of result classification can be substantially improved by using learning analytics and Educational Data Mining (EDM). The educational establishments are making an effort to lower the low student performance. To address this issue, numerous methods for assessing student performance have been devised, allowing the relevant faculties to intervene and enhance the final product. Three classes—Low Performance Student, Average Student, and Smart Student—were created using the K-Mean Clustering methodology for classifying student records. Features including grade point, number of deficits, student attendance, medium of education, and board of education are taken into account when classifying the data. In this case, the WEKA tool is also utilized for implementing the model and outcome assessments.

Major challenge in the analysis of clinical data and knowledge discovery is to suggest an integrated, advanced and efficient tools, methods and technologies for access and processing of progressively increasing amounts of data in multiple formats. The problem of adapting the personal treatment to a patient is extremely complex and the medical doctor should examine and analyze large amounts of various data of different type. A comprehensive system for precision medicine, which covers all phases of data discovery, data integration, data preprocessing, building models, data storage, data analysis and visualization can be very useful to scientists in support of precision medicine. The software system aims intelligent big genomic data management, analysis and visualization and allows scientists an easy, fast and flexible approach for data processing. They can choose the services they wish to be executed, use the available data sets in databases, or enter their own data to be processed.

Chronic back pain can present a serious health concern, with symptoms that can significantly affect an individual's well-being, mobility, and overall quality of life over an extended period. While chronic back pain may manifest suddenly in some cases, it often develops gradually and persists for weeks, and in untreated cases, it can linger for years. Hence, the utilization of assistive devices such as wearable posture-monitoring vests can offer valuable assistance and guidance to users. This research paper is dedicated to the development of a system for detecting, diagnosing, and correcting poor posture, specifically leaning posture. The vest is designed to provide users with visual, auditory, and tactile cues to help them address this issue, thereby reducing the risk associated with leaning. Additionally, an integrated electrical box has been designed to consolidate all components directly onto the main board in a secure enclosure. This box also displays the daily count of instances where the user has leaned. This system is characterized by its electrical safety, portability, compactness, comfort, and affordability. A comprehensive analysis of the system's performance has been conducted with a meticulous evaluation of accuracy. Each component of the system has undergone successful testing, and the system as a whole is currently in the testing phase. The results of these tests have indicated a lack of faulty errors and have demonstrated outstanding accuracy and detection rates. Over 100 individuals of varying ages, genders, and BMI categories were involved in testing, with each person wearing the device for an average of six hours. The accuracy rate achieved was 98.85%, with an average of 54.35 instances of poor posture detected per participant.

Let F be a class of group and G a finite group. Then a set Σ of subgroups of G is called a G-covering subgroup system for the class F if G ∈ F whenever Σ ⊆ F. We prove that: If a set of subgroups Σ of G contains at least one supplement to each maximal subgroup of every Sylow subgroup of G, then Σ is a G-covering subgroup system for the classes of all σ-soluble and all σ-nilpotent groups, and for the class of all σ-soluble P σT -groups. This article is dedicated to the study of an integrated approach to technological process of control of measurement of wearing parameters of traction electric motor collectors. Also the article presents the results of studies on the organization of an automated calculation and control system for the wearing of traction electric motor collectors at the stage of their repair using modern software. Special software product that allows to perform quick and truthful calculation of the wearing parameters of traction electric motor collectors depending on their run distance is proposed for implementation. After the entering of initial values, the statistical dependence of the collector diameter and its wearing on the run distance of the locomotive as well as theoretical distribution are calculated. The comparability of the theoretical and empirical distributions and sample regression coefficients that reflect the degree of connection between the theoretical and empirical distributions are estimated. © 2020 IEEE.

This paper explains in detail several methods for utilization of class based n-gram language models for automatic speech recognition, within the Kaldi speech recognition framework. It reexamines an existing implementation for word-level grammars, and then presents two methods of converting ARPA-format language models into a corresponding weighted finite state transducer which is then used for decoding in Kaldi in a usual way. One of the methods relies on implicit expansion of class n-grams within the language model during the conversion into the transducer, and the other one on explicit expansion of the ARPA file by changing class n-gram entries into an array of regular class instance n-grams, while the conversion procedure remains unchanged. Some limitations and optional restrictions for the procedures are discussed as well. The proposed methods are tested on a model trained on a Serbian judicial corpus which includes classes for all types of personal nouns (first names, last names, place names, street names and organization names). © 2021, Springer Nature Switzerland AG.

This paper discusses the structural organization of the background monitoring system (BMS) of the transboundary UNESCO World Heritage Site 'Beech forests of the Carpathians and ancient beech forests of Germany' using actual data and information from Gorgany Nature Reserve in Ivano-Frankivsk, Ukraine. The features of the structure and functions of background monitoring of the protected natural resources, forests and wildlife of Gorgany Nature Reserve is based on modern methods of collecting and processing of digital data, implementation of the principles of Internet of Things and cloud technologies, combined with GPS-systems, sensor networks with the use of optical and fiber-optic telecommunication channels. The information technology of the background monitoring system is based on figurative cluster models of monitoring objects according to theoretical principles of statistical, correlatory, spectral, cluster, logic-statistical and entropy analysis. © 2020 IEEE.

This article describes the design and implementation of an Embedded Interactive Timing System. Such systems are used in the therapy of children who have learning problems. The matching of different beats can help the brain work more efficiently. A methodology and architecture of an interactive timing is proposed. Open-source software environment and microcontroller is used for the practical realization of the system. Some results of the program functioning are shown. © 2019 IEEE.
