Aerial access networks (AANs), comprising un-manned aerial vehicles (UAV), high-altitude platforms (HAPs), and low-earth orbit (LEO) satellites, are rapidly emerging as a critical component of next-generation communication systems. Their dynamic nature, heterogeneous composition, and vast coverage area pose significant challenges for network management and optimization. Generative artificial intelligence (GenAI), renowned for its ability to generate new content, offers a promising solution to these challenges. In this paper, we explore the applications of GenAI in AANs in recent studies. We also identify key challenges and outline promising research directions. © 2024 IEEE.

This article examines the parameters of speech recognition in audio recordings containing a variety of phrases uttered by different people with different accents and intonations. The aim of the study is to evaluate the recognition speed, the accuracy of audio-to-text conversion and resource consumption when using SpeechRecognition and Levenshtein libraries. During the analysis, the above libraries were used to record and recognize audio files, as well as to calculate the distance between two lines and determine the recognition accuracy. The findings of this study can be useful for improving speech recognition systems and creating more adaptive and efficient solutions for audio data processing. The results of comparing the accuracy of speech recognition models are recorded in JSON format, after which, using the matplotlib library, they are visualized as graphs, comparing the speed and accuracy of recognition. Visualization of data in this way contributes to their improvement and more effective integration into educational systems. In conclusion, the authors emphasize the prospects for further development of speech recognition technologies in different fields. © 2024 IEEE.

The fifth generation(5G)system is the forthcoming generation of the mobile communication *** has numerous additional features and offers an extensively high data rate,more capacity,and low ***,these features and applications have many problems and issues in terms of security,which has become a great challenge in the telecommunication *** paper aimed to propose a solution to preserve the user identity privacy in the 5G system that can identify permanent identity by using Variable Mobile Subscriber Identity,which randomly changes and does not use the permanent identity between the user equipment and home *** this mechanism,the user identity privacy would be secured and ***,it improves the synchronization between mobile users and home ***,its compliance with the Authentication and Key Agreement(AKA)structure was adopted in the previous *** can be deployed efficiently in the preceding generations because the current architecture imposes minimal modifications on the network parties without changes in the authentication vector’s message ***,the addition of any hardware to the AKA carries minor adjustments on the network *** this paper,the ProVerif is used to verify the proposed scheme.

Model-based testing is a substantial approach that is based on and involving models. It is well known for achieving test coverage and for generating and executing test cases automatically. The main and core activity of model-based testing is the modelling activity. Models are used to explain and represent the behaviour of the product. The requirement will be translated into models and those models will be used in generating the test cases automatically in model-based testing. The modelling activity clarifies test requirement and contribute to automatic generation and execution of large test suites with tool support. Model-based testing provides numerous advantages in testing;mainly on achieving appropriate test coverage and reduce manual effort and time spent since it can execute the test cases automatically. Despite all the benefit it can provide, there are some drawbacks too. However, the challenges faced can overcome by implementing proper test modelling activity and by adopting a well-versed test management activity. Thus, in this paper, we have studied the existing testing process, the taxonomy of model-based testing and model-based testing steps and proposed an extensive lifecycle for model-based testing with detail activities and steps to be carried out in order to test and validate access control requirement for multi-tenant application. © 2022, The Author(s), under exclusive license to Springer Nature Singapore Pte Ltd.

Phishing is a cyber threat where attackers create deceptive websites or emails to exploit individuals for fraudulent purposes such as providing sensitive information like usernames, passwords, or financial details. Hence, detecting phishing emails is of paramount importance to protect sensitive information, preventing financial losses, protecting against identity theft, and maintaining trust. This study employs machine learning techniques to classify and categorize websites that are used for phishing attacks. To achieve this, we proposed a classification model for the detection of phishing domains based on classification rules. These rules were formulated based on analyzing and distributing them into three classifiers: domain name features, search engine opinion (SEO) information of the domain, and security scans by security vendors. A total of eleven classification rules were formulated which were distributed as follows: six rules for the first classifier, four rules for the second classifier, and one rule for the third classifier. Each classifier feeds its results to the main classifier, which then evaluates the received results based on its rules. Domain names from 222 confirmed phishing URLs were used to test the suggested model. The model demonstrated exceptional performance, achieving an impressive accuracy rate of 99.1% during testing. © 2023 IEEE.

Cybersecurity threats are increasing rapidly as hackers use advanced *** a result,cybersecurity has now a significant factor in protecting organizational *** detection systems(IDSs)are used in networks to flag serious issues during network management,including identifying malicious traffic,which is a *** remains an open contest over how to learn features in IDS since current approaches use deep learning *** learning,which combines swarm intelligence and evolution,is gaining attention for further improvement against cyber *** this study,we employed a PSO-GA(fusion of particle swarm optimization(PSO)and genetic algorithm(GA))for feature selection on the CICIDS-2017 *** achieve better accuracy,we proposed a hybrid model called LSTM-GRU of deep learning that fused the GRU(gated recurrent unit)and LSTM(long short-term memory).The results show considerable improvement,detecting several network attacks with 98.86%accuracy.A comparative study with other current methods confirms the efficacy of our proposed IDS scheme.

The rapid growth of Internet of Things(IoT)devices has brought numerous benefits to the interconnected ***,the ubiquitous nature of IoT networks exposes them to various security threats,including anomaly intrusion *** addition,IoT devices generate a high volume of unstructured *** intrusion detection systems often struggle to cope with the unique characteristics of IoT networks,such as resource constraints and heterogeneous data *** the unpredictable nature of network technologies and diverse intrusion methods,conventional machine-learning approaches seem to lack *** numerous research domains,deep learning techniques have demonstrated their capability to precisely detect *** study designs and enhances a novel anomaly-based intrusion detection system(AIDS)for IoT ***,a Sparse Autoencoder(SAE)is applied to reduce the high dimension and get a significant data representation by calculating the reconstructed ***,the Convolutional Neural Network(CNN)technique is employed to create a binary classification *** proposed SAE-CNN approach is validated using the Bot-IoT *** proposed models exceed the performance of the existing deep learning approach in the literature with an accuracy of 99.9%,precision of 99.9%,recall of 100%,F1 of 99.9%,False Positive Rate(FPR)of 0.0003,and True Positive Rate(TPR)of *** addition,alternative metrics,such as training and testing durations,indicated that SAE-CNN performs better.

Pulmonary arterial hypertension (PAH) is biggest preventable cause of early deaths, and hence one of the global preferences of World Health Organization for determent. PAH also induces the vast majority of patients with chronic kidney disease (CKD). Both PAH and CKD are inherently connected, but the common molecular pathways and genes of these two disorders have not yet been demonstrated. In this study, we aimed to determine the similar molecular pathways and therapeutic hub proteins in PAH and CKD that may be used to anticipate the progression of the disease. We used Limma package to conduct differential analysis of gene transcripts of PAH and CKD obtained from the Gene Expression repository. The functional annotations of the genes were determined with the use of pathway analysis. Then proteinâprotein interaction (PPI) networks were constructed to determine the hub proteins, and a clustering technique was applied to determine the most significant PPI elements. We separately evaluated the PAH and CKD gene expression-based datasets and discovered 30 differentially expressed genes (DEGs) shared by both PAH and CKD. The pathways of KEGG revealed that the most prevalent DEGs are associated with the Malaria and African trypanosomiasis. Gene ontology (GO), TF and miRNA analysis and module investigation is treated the forthcoming work of this study. Finally, various drug compounds have been suggested based on the concordant DEGs. © 2023 IEEE.

information retrieval is vital in our daily lives, with applications ranging from job searches to academic research. In today’s data-driven world, efficient and accurate retrieval systems are crucial. Our research focuses on video data, using a system called LUMOS-DM: Landscape-based Multimodal Scene Retrieval Enhanced by Diffusion Model. This system leverages Vision Transformer and Diffusion Models, taking user-generated sketch images and text queries as input to generate images for video retrieval. Initial testing on a dataset of 100 h of global landscape videos achieved an 18.78% at Top-20 accuracy rate and 36.45% at Top-100 accuracy rate. Additionally, video retrieval has various applications, including generating data for advertising and marketing. We use a multi-modal approach, combining sketch and text descriptions to enhance video content retrieval, catering to a wide range of user needs. © The Author(s), under exclusive license to Springer Nature Switzerland AG 2024.
