Due to the prevalence of the COVID-19 epidemic around the globe, children were compelled to engage in remote learning through online platforms, hence mobile phone has become one of their predominant devices. Mobile device with Internet access offers a major outlet for education, entertainment, and social connection, but this combination can lead to several significant bad sequences such as online exploitation, harmful addictions, and other negative impacts of online social networking. To address harmful effects, parental controls are becoming more crucial, yet Sri Lankan parents are less aware of this. Consequently, this study proposes a parental control system to monitor their child's activities. Android, Microsoft Azure, Java, Python, OpenCV, MySQL, and FastAPI are among the most prominent technologies utilized in the proposed application's development. The suggested approach focuses primarily on the Sri Lankan context and aims to enhance parental digital literacy while safeguarding children from cyber threats. Yielded results showed the proposed mobile application for the identification of toxic words, drugs & alcohol content, game character images, and Instagram Sinhala comments severity as 94%, 95%, 97%, and 55% respectively in controlled experiments. © 2022 IEEE.

This research explores the use of Fuzzy K-Nearest Neighbor(F-KNN)and Artificial Neural Networks(ANN)for predicting heart stroke incidents,focusing on the impact of feature selection methods,specifically Chi-Square and Best First Search(BFS).The study demonstrates that BFS significantly enhances the performance of both *** BFS preprocessing,the ANN model achieved an impressive accuracy of 97.5%,precision and recall of 97.5%,and an Receiver Operating Characteristics(ROC)area of 97.9%,outperforming the Chi-Square-based ANN,which recorded an accuracy of 91.4%.Similarly,the F-KNN model with BFS achieved an accuracy of 96.3%,precision and recall of 96.3%,and a Receiver Operating Characteristics(ROC)area of 96.2%,surpassing the performance of the Chi-Square F-KNN model,which showed an accuracy of 95%.These results highlight that BFS improves the ability to select the most relevant features,contributing to more reliable and accurate stroke *** findings underscore the importance of using advanced feature selection methods like BFS to enhance the performance of machine learning models in healthcare applications,leading to better stroke risk management and improved patient outcomes.

The aim of this work is to examine the application of FHE-SMPC as a viable security model for protecting the tenant isolation in multi-tenant cloud model. In multi-tenant environments, where various customers use the same cloud system, controlling the data leakage and protecting privacy is a major issue. Actual safeguards fail to meet the needs of data protection during processing, therefore, the introduction of highly elaborate encryption processes must happen. This research work focuses on the use of FHE technique and SMPC such that data can undergo processing while the plaintext remains unknown to any party. A kind of approach is based on the acquisition of synthetic and real data sets, system-level architecture, and cryptographic algorithms using open-source libraries with cloud service providers. The results of such implementation indicate that despite the fact that the FHE-SMPC system has a considerable computational overhead in comparison with classical schemes it is very secure and protected against different types of cryptographic attacks. The problem of scalability is still an open issue, but the complex is quite efficient with various data types that is why it can be used in various cloud applications. This paper offers a pertinent solution for security of data that is housed in multitenant environment and will go along way in creating fertile ground for research and innovation in secure clouding. © 2024 IEEE.

Systemic risk is ubiquitous in our increasingly globalised world owing to the interconnections within and across sectors. However, a review of National Risk Assessments performed in OECD member countries reveals that systemic risk is rarely mentioned, and it is never accounted for in those assessments. A powerful method accounts for systemic risk and identifies mitigating strategies using participatory modelling with stakeholders: strategy mapping with Strategyfinder. The risk model is represented as a directed graph consisting of risk nodes and directed edges (arrows) expressing causal influences. The method originated in the management of large, complex projects, and it has been applied to systemic risks in critical infrastructures and pandemics. We demonstrate the Strategyfinder method using a scenario describing a cyberattack on electronic communication infrastructure leading to serious consequences for health and lives. The scenario is borrowed from the report Analysis of Risk Scenarios by the Norwegian Directorate for Civil Protection. © 2024 information Systems for Crisis Response and Management, ISCRAM. This research aims to explore the use of modern complex defensive machine learning algorithms in the provision of predictive analytics for health improvement. Incorporating electronic health records, medical image information, and genomic data the work proposes and assesses multiple machine learning models including deep learning, ensemble learning, and reinforcement learning. The main findings shown very high performance in disease prediction, in chronic illness and in the application of efficiency improvements in hospitals as a whole. Overall, such threats as data quality, data privacy, and model interpretability have been discussed in the research and emphasize the importance of the machine learning approach in healthcare. It is highlighted that further development and integration of the interdisciplinary approaches as well as the use of the transparent and interpretable artificial intelligence and machine learning models can be urgent to increase the acceptance among the healthcare staff. This paper enhances the literature on applying machine learning in healthcare systems adding to the repertoire of knowledge for improved patient care. © 2024 IEEE.

Numerous individuals globally, regardless of age, have the neurological condition epilepsy. Recurrent seizures compromised motor and sensory abilities, and a hindered normal lifestyle are all signs of epilepsy. By seeing or manually examining electroencephalogram (EEG) data, neurologists can make the diagnosis of epileptic seizures. In this paper, a continuous wavelet transform spectral image-based epileptic episode classification technique is proposed. The EEG signal was first converted into 227x227 RGB images using CWT. Then these images were used to create an image dataset, and classification was performed using the proposed deep ensemble epileptic seizure classifier (DE-ESC). DE-ESC ensembled Dense-net-169, Dense-net-201, and Inception-V3. This proposed method obtained 100% accuracy (Ac), precision (Pr), recall, and F1 Score, respectively. © 2024 IEEE.

Due to the built-in light source within the endoscope, the illumination of bodily mucous can cause the formation of highlight regions due to reflection. This not only interferes with the diagnosis conducted by doctors but also poses a challenge to subsequent computer vision tasks. To tackle this issue, we introduce FAQNet, a network specifically designed for endoscopic image highlight removal. FAQNet seamlessly integrates multi-channel information leveraging quaternion convolution and spatial channel attention within our Quaternion Multi-Channel Fusion (QMCF) Module. This allows it to capture intricate details of color, texture, spatial information, and highlight characteristics within the imaged organ. Additionally, by employing frequency domain transformation and dilated convolution, the Contextual information Integration (CII) Module effectively enlarges the receptive field, organizing contextual information between highlight regions and their surrounding areas. Lastly, the PixelShuffle Upsampling (PSU) Module generates the restored image. We validate our model's performance on two benchmark datasets, demonstrating its superiority over existing highlight removal methodologies. © 2024 IEEE.

Medical Imaging Segmentation is an essential technique for modern medical *** is the foundation of many aspects of clinical diagnosis,oncology,and computer-integrated surgical *** significant successes have been achieved in the segmentation of medical images,DL(deep learning)*** delineation of OARs(organs at risk)is vastly dominant but it is prone to errors given the complex irregularities in shape,low texture diversity between tissues and adjacent blood area,patientwide location of organisms,and weak soft tissue contrast across adjacent organs in CT *** now several models have been implemented onmulti organs segmentation but not caters to the problemof imbalanced classes some organs have relatively small pixels as compared to *** segment OARs in thoracic CT images,we proposed the model based on the encoder-decoder approach using transfer learning with the efficientnetB7 DL *** have built a fully connected CNN(Convolutional Neural network)having 5 layers of encoding and 5 layers of decoding with efficientnetB7 specifically to tackle imbalance class pixels in an accurate way for the segmentation of *** methodology achieves 0.93405 IOU score,0.95138 F1 score and class-wise dice score for esophagus 0.92466,trachea 0.94257,heart 0.95038,aorta 0.9351 and background *** results showed that our proposed framework can be segmented organs accurately.

Deepfake Audio Detection for Urdu Language Using Deep Neural Networks

Audio Deepfakes, which are highly realistic fake audio recordings driven by AI tools that clone human voices, With Advancements in Text-Based Speech Generation (TTS) and Vocal Conversion (VC) technologies have enabled it easier to create realistic synthetic and imitative speech, making audio Deepfakes a common and potentially dangerous form of deception. Well-known people, like politicians and celebrities, are often targeted. They get tricked into saying controversial things in fake recordings, causing trouble on social media. Even kids’ voices are cloned to scam parents into ransom payments, etc. Therefore, developing effective algorithms to distinguish Deepfake audio from real audio is critical to preventing such frauds. Various Machine learning (ML) and Deep learning (DL) techniques have been created to identify audio Deepfakes. However, most of these solutions are trained on datasets in English, Portuguese, French, and Spanish, expressing concerns regarding their correctness for other languages. The main goal of the research presented in this paper is to evaluate the effectiveness of deep learning neural networks in detecting audio Deepfakes in the Urdu language. Since there’s no suitable dataset of Urdu audio available for this purpose, we created our own dataset (URFV) utilizing both genuine and fake audio recordings. The Urdu Original/real audio recordings were gathered from random youtube podcasts and generated as Deepfake audios using the RVC model. Our dataset has three versions with clips of 5, 10, and 15 seconds. We have built various deep learning neural networks like (RNN+LSTM, CNN+attention, TCN, CNN+RNN) to detect Deepfake audio made through imitation or synthetic techniques. The proposed approach extracts Mel-Frequency-Cepstral-Coefficients (MFCC) features from the audios in the dataset. When tested and evaluated, Our models’ accuracy across datasets was noteworthy. 97.78% (5s), 98.89% (10s), and 98.33% (15s) were remarkable results for the RNN+LSTM

Mobile device protection has emerged as an increasingly important difficulty as more and more customers depend upon wireless networks for everyday conversation and other duties. Wi-Fi networks offer convenience and versatility for users;however, they also come with safety worries. This paper presents an overview of the safety-demanding situations related to Wi -Fi networks, discusses safety issues related to cellular devices, and offers more than a few answers for creating cozy cell surroundings. It focuses on defensive person identification, privacy, statistics, and defending against possible malicious activities. Primarily, the paper explores security solutions, encryption, authentication, community access control, and tool control. Moreover, it appears on the role of service carriers in cell tool protection and shows an aggregate of quality practices and generation to sell secure usage. Finally, the paper recommends persevering with studies to identify new threats and answers to decorate mobile safety similarly. © 2024 IEEE.
