Sleep quality prediction in Internet of Things (IoT) involves leveraging a system of interrelated devices to gather as well as analyse related data. Smart devices like wearable devices or smart mattresses endlessly monitor many parameters such as body movement, heart rate, and environmental situations in bedroom. Real-time recommendations and feedback transported to consumers, allowing them to create informed lifestyle changes for superior sleep hygiene. As IoT ecosystem continues to develop, a combination of various data streams as well as classy analytics holds assurance for further refining sleep quality forecasts and improving overall well-being. The article designs a Bald Eagle Search Algorithm with Hierarchical Deep Learning for Internet of Things Assisted Sleep Quality Recognition (BESHDL-SQP) technique. The purpose of the BESHDL-SQP technique is to recognize and classify the quality of the sleep level in the IoT environment. In the presented BESHDL-SQP technique, the preliminary stage of data pre-processing using min–max normalization involved to normalize the input data. For predicting sleep quality, hierarchical long short-term memory (LSTM) technique exploited. Lastly, BES model utilized for optimal hyperparameter selection of LSTM method which helps in attaining enhanced results. To validate better performance of BESHDL-SQP technique, a huge range of simulation analysis is carried out. We theoretically investigate chaotic dynamics in an optomechanical system composed of a whispering-gallery-mode(WGM)microresonator and a *** find that tuning the optical phase using a phase shifter and modifying the coupling strength via a unidirectional waveguide(IWG)can induce chaotic *** underlying reason for this phenomenon is that adjusting the phase and coupling strength via the phase shifter and IWG bring the system close to an exceptional point(EP),where field localization dynamically enhances the optomechanical nonlinearity,leading to the generation of chaotic *** addition,due to the sensitivity of chaos to phase in the vicinity of the EP,we propose a theoretical scheme to measure the optical phase perturbations using *** work may offer an alternative approach to chaos generation with current experimental technology and provide theoretical guidance for optical signal processing and chaotic secure communication.

In the context of Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS), the role of vehicle detection and classification is indispensable for streamlining transportation management, refining traffic control, and conducting in-depth accident analyses. However, the intricate task of accurately detecting multi-oriented vehicles in diverse scenarios remains a challenge, even with the advancements in ITS. Factors such as vehicle morphology, design, road conditions, structural details, and climatic variables provide a significant part in the detection. To address this, our study introduces an advanced YOLOv8n model, specifically the YOLOv8n-CGW, which is built upon pre-trained deep learning frameworks. This model is meticulously tailored to enhance the detection capabilities for multi-oriented vehicles. Comprehensive evaluations on esteemed datasets like MtV, MERGED, Custom dataset, DAWN, WEDGE, and UA-DETRAC underscore the superiority of our approach over existing models. Notably, our YOLOv8n-CGW model achieves a remarkable mAP of 83.3% and boasts a swift inference time of 0.0019s, setting a new benchmark in the domain. © The Author(s), under exclusive licence to Springer science+Business Media, LLC, part of Springer Nature 2024.

This study introduces the Orbit Weighting Scheme(OWS),a novel approach aimed at enhancing the precision and efficiency of Vector Space information retrieval(IR)models,which have traditionally relied on weighting schemes like tf-idf and *** conventional methods often struggle with accurately capturing document relevance,leading to inefficiencies in both retrieval performance and index size *** proposes a dynamic weighting mechanism that evaluates the significance of terms based on their orbital position within the vector space,emphasizing term relationships and distribution patterns overlooked by existing *** research focuses on evaluating OWS’s impact on model accuracy using information Retrieval metrics like Recall,Precision,InterpolatedAverage Precision(IAP),andMeanAverage Precision(MAP).Additionally,we assessOWS’s effectiveness in reducing the inverted index size,crucial for model *** compare OWS-based retrieval models against others using different schemes,including tf-idf variations and *** reveal OWS’s superiority,achieving a 54%Recall and 81%MAP,and a notable 38%reduction in the inverted index *** highlights OWS’s potential in optimizing retrieval processes and underscores the need for further research in this underrepresented area to fully leverage OWS’s capabilities in information retrieval methodologies.

Adaptive isomap feature extractive gradient deep belief network classifier for diabetic retinopathy identification

Diabetic retinopathy (DR) is an infection that bases eternal visualization loss in patients with diabetes mellitus. With DR, the glucose level in the blood increases, as well as its viscosity, this results in fluid leakage into surrounding tissues in the retina. In other words, DR represents the pathology of capillaries and venules in the retina with leakage effects, being the main acute retinal disorder caused by diabetes. Many DR detection methods have been previously discussed by different researchers;however, accurate DR detection with a reduced execution time has not been achieved by existing methods. The proposed method, the Shape Adaptive box linear filtering-based Gradient Deep Belief network classifier (SAGDEB) Model, is performed to enhance the accuracy of DR detection. The objective of the SAGDEB Model is to perform an efficient DR identification with a higher accuracy and lower execution time. This model comprises three phases: pre-processing, feature extraction, and classification. The shape adaptive box linear filtering image pre-processing is carried out to reduce the image noise without removing significant parts of image content. Then, an isomap geometric feature extraction is performed to compute features of different natures, like shape, texture, and color, from the pre-processed images. After that, the Adaptive gradient Tversky Deep belief network classifier is to perform classification. The deep belief network is probabilistic and generative graphical model that consists of multiple layers such as one input unit, three hidden units, and one output unit. The extracted image featuresare considered in the input layer and these images are sent to hidden layers. Tversky similarity index is applied in hidden layer 1 to analyze the extracted features with testing features. Regarding the similarity value, the sigmoid activation function is determined in hidden layer 2 so different levels of DR can be identified. Finally, the adaptive gradient method is

Image copy-move forgery detection (CMFD) has become a challenging problem due to increasingly powerful editing software that makes forged images increasingly realistic. Existing algorithms that directly connect multiple scales of features in the encoder part may not effectively aggregate contextual information, resulting in poor performance. In this paper, an end-to-end context multiscale cross-fusion network (CMCF-Net) is proposed to detect image copy-move forgery. The proposed network consists of a multiscale feature extraction fusion (MSF) module and a multi-information fusion decoding (MFD) module. Multiscale information is efficiently extracted and fused in the MSF module utilizing stacked-scale feature fusion, which improves the network's forgery localization ability on objects of different scales. The MFD module employs contextual information combination and weighted fusion of multiscale information to guide the network in obtaining relevant clues from correlated information at multiple different scales. Experimental results and analysis have demonstrated that the proposed CMCF-Net achieves the best localization results with higher robustness. © 1999-2012 IEEE.

With recent advances in technology protecting sensitive healthcare data is challenging. Particularly, one of the most serious issues with medical information security is protecting of medical content, such as the privacy of patients. As medical information becomes more widely available, security measures must be established to protect confidentiality, integrity, and availability. Image steganography was recently proposed as an extra data protection mechanism for medical records. This paper describes a data-hiding approach for DICOM medical pictures. To ensure secrecy, we use Adversarial Neural Cryptography with SHA-256 (ANC-SHA-256) to encrypt and conceal the RGB patient picture within the medical image's Region of Non-Interest (RONI). To ensure anonymity, we use ANC-SHA-256 to encrypt the RGB patient image before embedding. We employ a secure hash method with 256bit (SHA-256) to produce a digital signature from the information linked to the DICOM file to validate the authenticity and integrity of medical pictures. Many tests were conducted to assess visual quality using diverse medical datasets, including MRI, CT, X-ray, and ultrasound cover pictures. The LFW dataset was chosen as a patient hidden picture. The proposed method performs well in visual quality measures including the PSNR average of 67.55, the NCC average of 0.9959, the SSIM average of 0.9887, the UQI average of 0.9859, and the APE average of 3.83. It outperforms the most current techniques in these visual quality measures (PSNR, MSE, and SSIM) across six medical assessment categories. Furthermore, the proposed method offers great visual quality while being resilient to physical adjustments, histogram analysis, and other geometrical threats such as cropping, rotation, and scaling. Finally, it is particularly efficient in telemedicine applications with high achieving security with a ratio of 99% during remote transmission of Electronic Patient Records (EPR) over the Internet, which safeguards the patien
