With the ongoing advancements in science and technology and the increasing research focus on cancer-related issues, there has been a proliferation of omics-related resources for in-depth analysis and exploration. This burgeoning volume and complexity of biological data have fostered the integration of machine-learning techniques into biology. As a result, numerous machine-learning strategies have been established to identify driver mutations. Yet, many of these strategies produce complex models, complicating comprehension and thereby clouding the impact of input features on the resulting predictions. Our analysis presented the CIXG framework, which integrates a driver gene prediction module using XGBoost with a causality interpretation module anchored on CXPlain. This architecture enables quantifying each input feature's contribution to the prediction outcome and ensures precise predictions of driver genes. When benchmarked against the state-of-the-art (SOTA) method, CIXG demonstrated superior accuracy in pinpointing driver genes across pan-cancer studies and within the 32 specific cancer types. Importantly, our results underscored that mutation features chiefly influence CIXG's predictive prowess, with additional support from other omics features. © 2024 IEEE.

At present, with the advancement of technology, various devices and solutions have been found to aid the visually impaired community (VI Community). Even with the countless technological breakthroughs, yet they face many problems performing the most basic functions in daily life. Identifying the objects, they use daily, identifying a person, whether it's someone they know or not, and their emotions, and reading a text information displayed anywhere, without the assistance from another person are the basic issues we deal with and try to resolve using a tool consisting of a pair of spectacles with an inbuilt camera that is integrated with a mobile application. The inbuilt camera will capture the image of a text containing label, an object, or a person which will be then detected, analyzed, and recognized and will be converted to Speech using Google TTS engine and produced through the headphones giving the output to the user. Tesseract OCR, YOLO algorithm, and TensorFlow models have been used for each feature of the tool respectively. This tool will be very beneficial to a blind person as it mitigates them the frustration caused by being incapable of performing daily activities without any assistance from another person. © 2022 IEEE.

In today’s digital era,the text may be in form of *** research aims to deal with the problem by recognizing such text and utilizing the support vector machine(SVM).A lot of work has been done on the English language for handwritten character recognition but very less work on the under-resourced Hindi language.A method is developed for identifying Hindi language characters that use morphology,edge detection,histograms of oriented gradients(HOG),and SVM classes for summary *** rank employs the summary to extract essential phrases based on paragraph position,phrase position,numerical data,inverted comma,sentence length,and keywords *** primary goal of the SVM optimization function is to reduce the number of features by eliminating unnecessary and redundant *** second goal is to maintain or improve the classification system’s *** experiment included news articles from various genres,such as Bollywood,politics,and *** proposed method’s accuracy for Hindi character recognition is 96.97%,which is good compared with baseline approaches,and system-generated summaries are compared to human *** evaluated results show a precision of 72%at a compression ratio of 50%and a precision of 60%at a compression ratio of 25%,in comparison to state-of-the-art methods,this is a decent result.

This article presents a new scheme for dynamic data optimization in IoT(Internet of Things)-assisted sensor *** various components of IoT assisted cloud platform are *** addition,a new architecture for IoT assisted sensor networks is ***,a model for data optimization in IoT assisted sensor networks is proposed.A novel Membership inducing Dynamic Data Optimization Membership inducing Dynamic Data Optimization(MIDDO)algorithm for IoT assisted sensor network is proposed in this *** proposed algorithm considers every node data and utilized membership function for the optimized data *** proposed framework is compared with two stage optimization,dynamic stochastic optimization and sparsity inducing optimization and evaluated in terms of reliability ratio,coverage ratio and sensing *** optimization was performed based on the availability of cloud resource,sensor energy,data flow volume and the centroid of each *** was inferred that the proposed MIDDO algorithm achieves an average performance ratio of 76.55%,reliability ratio of 94.74%,coverage ratio of 85.75%and sensing error of 0.154.

Cloud computing is one of the most attractive and cost-saving models,which provides online services to *** computing allows the user to access data directly from any *** nowadays,cloud security is one of the biggest issues that *** types of malware are wreaking havoc on the *** on the cloud server are happening from both internal and external *** paper has developed a tool to prevent the cloud server from spamming *** an attacker attempts to use different spamming techniques on a cloud server,the attacker will be intercepted through two effective techniques:Cloudflare and K-nearest neighbors(KNN)*** will block those IP addresses that the attacker will use and prevent spamming ***,the KNN classifiers will determine which area the spammer belongs *** the end of the article,various prevention techniques for securing cloud servers will be discussed,a comparison will be made with different papers,a conclusion will be drawn based on different results.

Sri Lankan population accounts up to almost one million visually impaired individuals out of which are mostly students and young individuals. As the educational structure for the visually impaired improves with funds, blind schools, and free education, assistance with minute needs for most visually impaired individuals comes at a cost. There are many assistive technologies, such as audio books, screen magnifiers, braille books, and screen readers, prevalent around the island. However, there are several limitations to these technologies, mainly their availability and affordability. In Sri Lanka, many individuals, societies, clubs, and many more are willing to volunteer to help those in need, even those that require physical attention. As much as it is anticipated to aid those in need, there is very little attention to the ways it can be done. Hence, this research provides a way to develop a user-friendly mobile application with assistive software and volunteerism to aid visually impaired students with their daily needs. © 2022 IEEE.

Recognizing hand-drawn sketches is a promising starting point for various applications, such as assisting artists in creating 3D environments for games or virtual environment scenes quickly and efficiently from concept arts. In addition, by understanding drawings, we can generate 3D models that can be used for further design and development. Thus, in this paper, we aim to develop a novel lightweight network that can accurately recognize sketch drawings. We propose a lightweight-yet-efficient neural network based on MobileNetV2 for sketch recognition and employ knowledge distillation to train the proposed model from EfficientNet-B4. To evaluate the accuracy of the proposed method, we collect a dataset of sketches comprising 1800 drawings in 12 categories, ranging from furniture to animals. The experimental results show that our network model achieves an accuracy of 96.7%, with 96.9% precision, 96.7% recall, and 96.7% F1-score. These results demonstrate that the proposed approach has great potential for practical sketch recognition applications, such as interior design or VR scene generation. © 2023 IEEE.

The existing property registry management does not have a well-defined protocol for verifying and validating transactions that occur within the domain. These transactions rely on handwritten signatures, an unreliable methodology for determining an asset's ownership. The legal system governs this process. However, several disputes have occurred due to improper validation and verification when registering properties, changing custody, and maintaining the chain of ownership. Trades have been made by including a lower value than the actual asset value, which will reduce the tax owed to the government and will lead to the failure of these departments. There are no appropriate mechanisms to resolve common disputes that arise within the domain. The courts must resolve these disputes using the same recurring traditional procedure, which will take years or decades to conclude. The main objective of this research is to develop a secure property registration mechanism by creating a digital protocol using a decentralized blockchain network. In addition, the research will focus on developing a minimum asset value calculator using machine learning and geographic information system, verifying the authenticity of the generated digital documents, and creating digital deeds for new and old paper-based records. © 2022 IEEE.

The Internet of Things (IoT) and real-time flexibility improve people's lives, and IoT applications rely heavily on multimedia sensors and devices. An interconnected network of IoT multimedia devices has made the Internet of Medical Things (IoMT). It creates massive data distinct from what the Internet of Things (IoT) produced. Smart traffic monitoring and smart hospitals are only a few examples of real-time deployment applications. IoMT data and decision-making must be made quickly since it directly impacts human life. The security heterogeneity of optimization issues is a significant challenge for enabling multimedia applications on the IoT. The IoMT has difficulty achieving low-cost data collecting while maintaining data security. An Internet of Multimedia Things in a wireless environment (IoMT-WE) system decreases the bandwidth and privacy risk caused by the revocation list, ensures the integrity of batch verification information, and corresponds with Vehicular ad hoc network (VANET) security performance. The proposed method uses random subsampling and chaotic convolution to collect numerous images. The sampling method is safe since the measurement matrix is controlled by chaos. As part of the IoMT architecture, wireless multimedia sensor nodes can be more easily deployed over the long term for real-time multimedia. The Wireless Multimedia Sensor Network (WMSN) comprises nodes that can capture both multimedia and non-multimedia data. The ioMT-WE system has been tested and found to be secure and effective. © 2023 River Publishers.
