Graph and network visualization supports exploration, analysis and communication of relational data arising in many domains: from biological and social networks, to transportation and powergrid systems. With the arrival of AI-based question-answering tools, issues of trustworthiness and explainability of generated answers motivate a greater role for visualization. In the context of graphs, we see the need for visualizations that can convince a critical audience that an assertion about the graph under analysis is valid. The requirements for such representations that convey precisely one specific graph property are quite different from standard network visualization criteria which optimize general aesthetics and readability. In this paper, we aim to provide a comprehensive introduction to visual proofs of graph properties and a foundation for further research in the area. We present a framework that defines what it means to visually prove a graph property. In the process, we introduce the notion of a visual certificate, that is, a specialized faithful graph visualization that leverages the viewer's perception, in particular, pre-attentive processing (e. g. via pop-out effects), to verify a given assertion about the represented graph. We also discuss the relationships between visual complexity, cognitive load and complexity theory, and propose a classification based on visual proof complexity. In this article, an Autonomous Fuzzy Echo State Network (AFESN) algorithm is being proposed. This algorithm combines Autonomous Learning Multi-Model Systems and Echo State Network (ESN) to perform Human Activity Recognition on the Heterogeneity Human Activity Recognition HHAR dataset. We incorporate the structural information of the dataset into the ESN by using the Takagi-Sugeno (TS) models/rules concept. The process of obtaining the structural information in the dataset was fully automated by the unimodal density based membership function, which then acts as the antecedent part. Subsequently, a consequent part composed by ESN was used to replace the affine models commonly used in TS models. The final model predictions are inferred by the fuzzy-weighed mechanism in a new fuzzy rule composed of multiple ESNs. Since our algorithm is fully automatic and does not require any prior knowledge, its use in online learning scenarios is adequately applicable. Lastly, the effectiveness of the algorithm is tested using the HHAR dataset and an accuracy of 42.9% was obtained. Compared with the performance of recent Autonomous Learning Multi-Model Systems (19.6%), our algorithm has gained a significant improvement. © 2023 IEEE.

Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAVs) have become increasingly popular in recent years, with a wide range of applications in areas such as surveying, delivery, and security. UAV technology plays an important role in human life. Integrating Artificial Intelligence (AI) techniques into UAVs can significantly enhance their capabilities and performance. After the integration of AI in UAVs, their efficiency can be improved. It can automatically detect any object and highlight those objects with detailed information using AI. In most of the security surveillance places, UAV technology is beneficial. In this paper, we comprehensively reviewed the most widely used UAV communication protocols, including Wi-Fi, Zigbee, and Long-Range Wi-Fi (LoRaWAN). The review further explores valuable insights into the strengths and weaknesses of these protocols and how cognitive abilities such as perceptions and decision-making can be incorporated into UAV systems for autonomy. This paper provides a comprehensive overview of the state-of-the-art UAV object detection in remote sensing environments, as well as its types and use cases in different applications. It highlights the potential applications of these techniques in various domains, such as wildlife monitoring, search and rescue operations, and surveillance. The challenges and limitations of these methods and open research issues are given for future research. © 2024

Every day,the media reports tons of crimes that are considered by a large number of users and accumulate on a regular *** news exists on the Internet in unstructured formats such as books,websites,documents,and *** such homogeneous data,it is very challenging to extract relevant information which is a time-consuming and critical task for the public and law enforcement ***-based information Retrieval(IR)systems rely on statistics to retrieve results,making it difficult to obtain relevant *** are unable to understandthe user’s query and thus facewordmismatchesdue to context changes andthe inevitable semanticsof a given ***,such datasets need to be organized in a structured configuration,with the goal of efficiently manipulating the data while respecting the semantics of the *** ontological semantic IR systemis needed that can find the right investigative information and find important clues to solve criminal *** semantic system retrieves information in view of the similarity of the semantics among indexed data and user *** this paper,we develop anontology-based semantic IRsystemthat leverages the latest semantic technologies including resource description framework(RDF),semantic protocol and RDF query language(SPARQL),semantic web rule language(SWRL),and web ontology language(OWL).We have conducted two *** the first experiment,we implemented a keyword-based textual IR systemusing Apache *** the second experiment,we implemented a semantic systemthat uses ontology to store the data and retrieve precise results with high accuracy using SPARQL *** keyword-based system has filtered results with 51%accuracy,while the semantic system has filtered results with 95%accuracy,leading to significant improvements in the field and opening up new horizons for researchers.

Schizophrenia is a chronic mental disorder with distorted thinking, hallucinations, and social difficulties. Early diagnosis is vital, but current methods are limited. This research proposes a web-based application integrating machine learning, emotion recognition, and game-based elements to track symptoms and aid in early diagnosis. Interactive exercises focus on specific symptoms like cognitive evaluation, emotional analysis, and memory assessment. By combining computer science, psychology, and machine learning, the project aims to improve early detection and ultimately enhance the quality of life for affected individuals. Key components include using Deep Convolutional Neural Network (DCNN) architecture for recognizing facial and physical expressions associated with schizophrenia with an 87% accuracy rate, and utilizing Vector Regressor (SVR) with a 93% accuracy rate, along with Vision Transformer (ViT) and Custom CNN models for cognitive assessment, achieving accuracy rates of 99% and 98%, respectively.

This study examines the accuracy and ethical implications of using convolutional neural networks (CNN) for automated crime detection. A CNN model was trained on a dataset of criminal mugshots to identify potential criminal behaviour based on facial features. This study analyzed the performance of the model and achieved a high accuracy rate in identifying criminals. However, the ethical implications of automated criminal detection are also explored, including bias, privacy and human rights violations. The findings of this study highlight the need for caution and ethical considerations when implementing automated crime detection technologies. It is important to ensure that such technologies are not used to violate the rights of individuals or perpetuate societal biases. © 2023 IEEE.

In this paper, we utilize ANNs to investigate how medicine dosing and management might be improved for the elderly population. The suggested strategy calls for the use of patient-specific data as inputs for the ANNs, such as age, renal and hepatic function, body mass index, and preexisting prescription profiles. The neural network model dynamically changes drug doses using the combination of the Multilayer Perceptron (MLP) algorithm, Backpropagation, and the Stochastic Gradient Descent (SGD) algorithm to maximize therapeutic benefits and reduce the likelihood of adverse drug events. The research highlights the improved accuracy, sensitivity, specificity, precision, and F1 score of the suggested technique compared to numerous conventional methods. As a result, the suggested system has great potential to revolutionize medication management for the elderly population since it is more personalized, flexible, patient-safe, effective, and efficient in its use of resources. © 2023 IEEE.

Diabetes is a metabolic disorder that results in a retinal complication called diabetic retinopathy(DR)which is one of the four main reasons for sightlessness all over the *** usually has no clear symptoms before the onset,thus making disease identication a challenging *** healthcare industry may face unfavorable consequences if the gap in identifying DR is not lled with effective ***,our objective is to develop an automatic and cost-effective method for classifying DR *** this work,we present a custom Faster-RCNN technique for the recognition and classication of DR lesions from retinal *** pre-processing,we generate the annotations of the dataset which is required for model ***,introduce DenseNet-65 at the feature extraction level of Faster-RCNN to compute the representative set of key ***,the Faster-RCNN localizes and classies the input sample into ve *** experiments performed on a Kaggle dataset comprising of 88,704 images show that the introduced methodology outperforms with an accuracy of 97.2%.We have compared our technique with state-of-the-art approaches to show its robustness in term of DR localization and ***,we performed cross-dataset validation on the Kaggle and APTOS datasets and achieved remarkable results on both training and testing phases.

The rising incidence of breast cancer globally highlights the need to focus on quality of life (QoL) as a key outcome in patient care. QoL includes several dimensions, such as physical, psychological, social, and spiritual well-being, all of which can significantly affect treatment outcomes and patient satisfaction. This study aims to develop a comprehensive QoL framework for breast cancer patients to enhance personalized treatment approaches. Utilizing a Design science Research Methodology (DSRM), we combined established quality of life (QoL) assessment tools, including the European Organization for Research and Treatment of Cancer Quality of Life Questionnaire (EORTC QLQ-C30), the European Organization for Research and Treatment of Cancer Breast-Specific Module (EORTC QLQ-BR23), and the Functional Assessment of Chronic Illness Therapy-Spiritual Well-Being Scale (FACIT-Sp-12), into a comprehensive framework. We conducted a survey of 88 breast cancer patients undergoing treatment at a tertiary hospital in Jordan, collecting demographic, clinical, and QoL data through self-administered questionnaires. Results: Developing a visualized, comprehensive QoL framework for both stakeholders and patients allowed them to examine the various QoL domains that influence patient well-being and their potential impact on treatment outcomes. The analysis revealed that cognitive ability, social support, and physical activity significantly affected patients' QoL. The mean global health score was 65.81, indicating moderate QoL levels. Notably, spirituality, as measured by FACIT-Sp scores, showed a positive correlation with overall QoL, suggesting that spiritual well-being plays an essential role in patient coping and satisfaction. This integrated QoL framework provides valuable insights into the multifaceted experiences of breast cancer patients, emphasizing the need for personalized care that considers physical, functional, psychological, and spiritual dimensions alongside clinical tr
