In this meta-analysis, we present a robust approach for consumer retention forecasting by integrating advanced machine learning algorithms. The method comprises three core algorithms: Consumer Behaviour Neural Network (CBNN), Retention Decision Trees (RDT), and Long Short-Term Memory for Retention (LSTM-R). The objective is to model intricate relationships within consumer behaviours and accurately predict their retention probabilities. CBNN a key component, adeptly captures intricate patterns within consumer behaviour data. It involves multiple hidden layers with activation functions, enabling accurate prediction of retention probabilities based on input features. The flowchart for CBNN showcases the training process involving forward and backward passes, underlining its deep learning approach. RDT this method utilizes decision tree algorithms to predict consumer retention decisions. By recursively splitting the dataset based on information gain, RDT efficiently models consumer behaviour, as depicted in the flowchart. information gain is maximized to create a robust predictive model. LSTM-R tailored for temporal data in consumer retention prediction, leverages specialized LSTM architecture. It effectively processes sequential consumer interactions, crucial for accurate prediction of consumer retention probabilities. The proposed method integrates these algorithms, leveraging historical consumer data, and conducts a comprehensive meta-analysis to evaluate their predictive performance. © 2023 IEEE.

The cloud services which are now the most common data transmission and endanger organizations' confidential information, it's more and more visible that security of any data should be a main priority for companies. MFA, which consists of adopting multi factor approach to authentication and thereby provides multiple types of verification thus ensures effective security, is leveraged to ensure resource access. This paper proposes a full-fledged way of implementing MFA for cloud services in order to strengthen the security given and manage the constatoing risks. The proposed methodology consists of main stages like requirements determining, technology reviewing, risks assessment, technology design, integration with cloud services, users training, pilot deployment and testing, implementation and configuration, monitoring and maintenance as well as constant improvement. Through a systemic approach, the organizations can be equipped with the capability to personalize the MFA solutions according to their security goals, to bring the cloud environments on board, as well as to ensure that the organizations comply with the security standards as set by various governing bodies. This research adds a grain of salt to the development of cloud security good practices through offering a disciplined approach to MFA implementation, which allows partners to harden their cloud assets and protect against growing cyber threats. © 2024 IEEE.

Farmers all over the world struggle to fight plant diseases. However, the incorrect use of pesticides can waste time, effort, and money and can also be very harmful to the environment and human health. In this work, we present an empirical study that involves identifying two pathogens related to Cucumbers plant diseases: Powdery Mildew and Alternaria Cucumerina. The study aims to develop a computer-based solution based on deep learning and machine learning algorithms to detect these diseases. To achieve this, a dataset of hundreds of samples was collected from ordinary farms in Beqaa, an agricultural region 15 KM north of Amman, Jordan. Three machine learning models were created in this study using Support Vector Machines (SVM), Logistic Regression (LR), and Multi-layer perceptron algorithms. The constructed models were applied to the dataset after embedding the dataset images using the Convolutional Neural Networks (CNN) InceptionV3 pre-trained model. The model was tested and evaluated using cross-evaluation and F1-Score, CA, AUC, Precision, Recall, and Specificity, which all showed excellent results, particularly using the SVM algorithm. The constructed methods are intended to be deployed to farms in their field condition environments using a CCTV system that can capture images of plants during growth, which can help identify plant diseases at that right stage, which would save time, effort, and money and reduce the impact of wrong and overuse of pesticides on consumers and the environment. © 2024 IEEE.

The use of online computing has grown quickly across a range of institutions and businesses. The storage of information in the clouds, which enables individuals and businesses to store their personal information largely in the cloud and not on local computers, is one of the main benefits of cloud computing. Safety of data maintained in the cloud is still a major worry, however. We provide a novel security architecture in this study that is intended to improve data confidentiality and safety. Data is separated into blocks of two bytes each, and each multi-byte bit sequence is subjected to a separate evolutionary process in the revised security framework. The end product of each genetic algorithm's operation is ciphertext, which is made up of two different sets of bits. The ciphertext for these encrypted messages is difficult to find since it is stored in many places across the cloud. Additionally, the newly developed safety architecture uses algorithms that evolve on fewer data blocks to improve data security. A capability list is also used to guarantee granular and secure access to information. © 2023 IEEE.

This study examines the implementation and impact of Cloud-Enhanced Machine Learning Models in the realm of Predictive Maintenance within Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT) settings. Emphasizing the integration of cloud computing with machine learning, the research focuses on how this synergy improves the accuracy and efficiency of maintenance predictions in industrial environments. Key metrics evaluated include prediction accuracy, operational efficiency, cost savings, and reduction in equipment downtime. The study demonstrates a significant increase in prediction accuracy, from 65% to 88%, attributed to the advanced data processing and analytical capabilities of cloud-enhanced machine learning. Operational efficiency saw marked improvements, with a 50% reduction in response times and a 25% increase in maintenance scheduling efficiency, leading to a 20% rise in asset utilization rates. Financially, the implementation led to a 37% reduction in annual maintenance costs and a 40% decrease in both the cost per downtime incident and long-term repair expenses. Most notably, the study recorded a 62.5% reduction in both the duration and frequency of downtime incidents. These results highlight the transformative potential of integrating cloud computing and machine learning in IIoT for predictive maintenance, showcasing significant advancements in predictive accuracy, operational efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and overall reduction in downtime. The study underscores the critical role of technological innovation in advancing industrial maintenance strategies, leading to more proactive, efficient, and economically viable operations. © 2024 IEEE.

The idea of separating the management plane from the data-forwarding gear was first introduced by software-Defined Networking (SDN), which has brought about a revolutionary new age in networking. This innovation makes networks programmable, flexible, and dynamically reconfigurable. These characteristics have great potential for the field of computer science in the cloud, where dynamic adjustments and reconfiguration are essential owing to on-demand consumption patterns. The many simulation and empirical assessment techniques that have been created expressly for SDN-enabled cloud settings are also highlighted by us. Speech Recognition focuses on developing advanced technologies that can recognize and translate spoken language into text. Automatic Speech Recognition (ASR) is an Artificial Intelligence (AI) technology that captures human voice from a mi-crophone and analyzes it based on spoken words to comprehend natural language. In Ethiopia, ASR models have been developed for specific local languages such as Amharic, Tigrigna, Wolaytta, and Afaan Oromo, but there has been a lack of research on ASR models for the Hadiyyisa language, which is also spoken in Ethiopia. The research study designed and developed an ASR model for the Hadiyyisa language. The researchers collected data from native speakers of the Hadiyyisa language and used Python programming to design and develop the deep learning model for the Hadiyissa ASR model. Different methods and techniques were used in the study to achieve the research objectives and complete the entire research process. The proposed model utilized deep learning algorithms including RNN, LSTM, BiLSTM, and CNN, along with suitable feature extraction techniques such as Mel Frequency Cepstral Coefficients (MFCC). The accuracy of the proposed ASR model was evaluated through experimentation, which demonstrated that the BiLSTM model outperformed the other deep learning models with an overall accuracy of 90.95 % Based on the experimental evidence, the proposed model was found to be better suited for ASR for the Hadiyyisa language. © 2023 IEEE.

The increasing emphasis on sustainable retrofitting of buildings has brought attention to the need for optimizing trade-offs among critical objectives, such as time, cost, energy consumption, and risk. This study proposes an opposition-based multi-objective ant colony optimization (OB-MOACO) framework to address these challenges effectively. The framework incorporates opposition-based learning to enhance solution exploration and convergence in multi-objective optimization problems, specifically tailored for sustainable retrofitting projects. The study develops a time–cost–energy–risk trade-off (TCERT) model with four objectives: minimizing retrofitting time, cost, energy consumption, and risks. The model integrates constraints related to budget, project timelines, and energy efficiency to ensure feasibility and sustainability. A detailed case study of retrofitting a mixed-use building is presented, encompassing 11 aspects such as structural reinforcement, energy efficiency enhancement, and accessibility improvements. Results demonstrate the superiority of OB-MOACO over conventional methods like NSGA-III, MODE, and MOPSO in achieving Pareto-optimal solutions. Key performance metrics, including hypervolume (HV) and inverted generational distance (IGD), highlight the model's efficiency in balancing competing objectives. The study contributes to advancing sustainable retrofitting practices by providing an innovative, cost-effective, and energy-efficient decision-making framework. To improve the performance of mobile devices, both the edge of the network and the cloud provide computing services. While the cloud can manage large processing needs, the edge can minimize latency by offering local computing services. Their cooperation is essential for edge-cloud computational business models since it increases the usage of computing resources and assures Quality of Service (QoS). To facilitate resource sharing between the network's edge and the cloud, this study proposes an effective architecture for mobility edge-cloud computing networks. It uses wholesale and buyback techniques. Study conducted design resource management issues for edge servers to manage wholesale and buyback agreements and for cloud services to establish wholesale rates and distribute local computing resources in order to maximize this sharing process. From the perspectives of both optimizing societal welfare and maximizing profitability in both the perimeter and the cloud, study conducted approach these issues. Study conducted illustrate the concavity of the social welfare for i) and suggest an ideal cloud resource management approach to maximize it. Study conducted first develop the conical shape of wholesale computing power with respect to the wholesale rate for option ii), given the difficulty of directly demonstrating the conical shape of the key issue. Study conducted then create an optimal pricing while computing administration approach for maximizing the resulting profits. According to numerical analyses, maximizing overall profit is consistent with promoting societal welfare, whereas maximizing individual earnings is achieved through maximizing pricing using cloud computing resource management. © 2023 IEEE.

Machine learning relies heavily on time series forecasting, which has a wide range of uses, including although not limited to forecasting air quality, traffic patterns, and power use. Recent developments in deep training and matrix factorization models, however, have shown competitive performance and are emerging as alternatives. However, a fundamental disadvantage of these contemporary models over more established ones is their complexity. The Gradient Boosted Regression Tree, a well-known machine learning baseline, and popular deep learning models are compared in this work. We convert the time series forecast challenge into a window-based prediction issue, which is akin to (DNN) models. In addition, we design the GBRT model's input and output structure. In order to construct a single input instance to simulate a multi-output GBRT model, we concatenate the desired values with additional characteristics for each training window before flattening them. Using nine datasets, we undertake a thorough investigation and evaluate eight cutting-edge deep learning models recently presented at prestigious conferences. The findings show that a simple GBRT model performs much better than the state-of-the-art DNN models evaluated in this research thanks to the window-based input transformation. © 2023 IEEE.
