The specification of experiments expressed as Complex Analytics Workflows is a complex task that involves many decision-making steps with various degrees of complexity. The use of the context, the expert knowledge, and the potential for its sharing and reuse in the context of experiment specification have not been addressed sufficiently until now. Moreover, to make such knowledge instrumental, it should be coupled with specific probabilistic measures, such as particular assurances, ranking, and verification of various options. The paper aims to present a novel semantic model for probabilistic reasoning in any experimentation context coupled with a functional system for knowledge generation, reuse, and sharing. This work analyzes the possibilities of the EfficientNetB3 architecture, reinforced by modern image data augmentation methods, in the classification of brain cancers from MRI scans. Our key objective was to greatly boost the accuracy and reliability of brain tumor diagnosis by combining the advantages of a pre-trained EfficientNetB3 model, along with a custom-designed data augmentation strategy geared at effectively resolving the inherent variabilities in MRI images. To achieve this, comprehensive preprocessing protocols were applied to the MRI datasets designated for training, validation, and testing. These protocols included the resizing and normalization of images to ensure uniformity and compatibility with the neural network. Further, our approach utilized real-time image augmentation techniques such as rotations, shifts, and flips during the training process, thereby enhancing the model's exposure to a wide range of imaging scenarios and increasing its robustness against variations not present in the training set. The outcome of this research was a notable enhancement in the model's classification accuracy, achieving up to 99% accuracy in identifying various types of brain tumors. These results not only demonstrate the effectiveness of integrating sophisticated convolutional network architectures with extensive image augmentation in medical diagnostics but also suggest potential pathways for setting new standards in the accuracy and reliability of medical image analysis, particularly in the critical domain of brain tumor diagnosis. © 2024 IEEE.

Breast Carcinoma, generally known as breast cancer, primarily affects women, though men can develop it as well. Because of the existence of breast tissue and exposure to female hormones, notably oestrogen, women are at a higher risk It's critical to diagnose breast tumors early. Several techniques based on machine learning (ML were used in this study to classify breast cancer using a dataset that was made available to the public. F-score, recall, precision, preciseness, and other performance metrics were used to evaluate these ML algorithms. Previous research and experimental findings indicate that Random Forest achieved the highest accuracy, with a remarkable accuracy rate of 99.12%. © 2024 IEEE.

Reinforcement learning holds promise in enabling robotic tasks as it can learn optimal policies via trial and ***,the practical deployment of reinforcement learning usually requires human intervention to provide episodic resets when a failure *** manual resets are generally unavailable in autonomous robots,we propose a reset-free reinforcement learning algorithm based on multi-state recovery and failure prevention to avoid failure-induced *** multi-state recovery provides robots with the capability of recovering from failures by self-correcting its behavior in the problematic state and,more importantly,deciding which previous state is the best to return to for efficient *** failure prevention reduces potential failures by predicting and excluding possible unsafe actions in specific *** simulations and real-world experiments are used to validate our algorithm with the results showing a significant reduction in the number of resets and failures during the learning.

Question Classification plays a vital role in identifying the accurate answer to any question, and is considered as a core component of Question Answering Systems. In Nepali Natural Language Processing, the area of Question Answering has not even been initiated due to a lack of dataset. The dataset of Nepali factual questions has been created by collecting questions from general knowledge books and labelling them with developed taxonomy. The problem of Nepali factoid question classification has been studied with a Support Vector Machine, which works as a baseline classification algorithm and obtained a 0.74 weighted F1-score in the imbalance dataset. The experimental results of the proposed model show the effectiveness of the approach in classifying factoid questions accurately compared with the state-of-the-art approaches. © 2023 IEEE.

The fast development of Large Language Models (LLMs) has made transformative applications in several fields attainable or possible. However, language models must often be more effective in specialized areas, especially health and prevention. This paper presents a novel method for fine-tuning LLMs using activity-related data to optimize them for the applicability of such models in health and wellbeing applications. We thus empirically evaluate this approach on the Cardiac Exercise Research corpus for fine-tuning the LLMs. The fine-tuning utilizes Quantized Low-Rank Adaptation (QLoRA) to ensure the models' size remains small while maintaining high performance and accuracy to keep the semantic understanding and relevance with health-related queries. Our results in answering domain-related prompts showed an improved user satisfaction and sentiment scores, providing strong confidence in the method's effectiveness. This study highlights the potential of domain-specific LLMs in advancing personalized healthcare. It instills a sense of optimism about the future of healthcare and the seamless integration of AI within health prevention and well-being domains. © 2024 IEEE.

In recent years, Digital Twin (DT) has gained significant interestfrom academia and industry due to the advanced in information technology,communication systems, Artificial Intelligence (AI), Cloud Computing (CC),and Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT). The main concept of the DT isto provide a comprehensive tangible, and operational explanation of anyelement, asset, or system. However, it is an extremely dynamic taxonomydeveloping in complexity during the life cycle that produces a massive amountof engendered data and information. Likewise, with the development of AI,digital twins can be redefined and could be a crucial approach to aid theInternet of Things (IoT)-based DT applications for transferring the data andvalue onto the Internet with better decision-making. Therefore, this paperintroduces an efficient DT-based fault diagnosis model based on machinelearning (ML) tools. In this framework, the DT model of the machine isconstructed by creating the simulation model. In the proposed framework,the Genetic algorithm (GA) is used for the optimization task to improvethe classification accuracy. Furthermore, we evaluate the proposed faultdiagnosis framework using performance metrics such as precision, accuracy,F-measure, and recall. The proposed framework is comprehensively examinedusing the triplex pump fault diagnosis. The experimental results demonstratedthat the hybrid GA-ML method gives outstanding results compared to MLmethods like LogisticRegression (LR), Na飗e Bayes (NB), and SupportVectorMachine (SVM). The suggested framework achieves the highest accuracyof 95% for the employed hybrid GA-SVM. The proposed framework willeffectively help industrial operators make an appropriate decision concerningthe fault analysis for IIoT applications in the context of Industry 4.0.

Air quality forecasting is critical for environmental monitoring and public health, and in this study, we propose a hybrid approach utilizing Gooseneck Barnacle Optimization (GBO) and Artificial Neural Networks (ANN) to enhance predictive accuracy. The air quality dataset, comprising pollutant concentrations (CO, NOx, benzene) and meteorological factors (temperature, humidity), is sourced from the UCI Machine Learning Repository. GBO is employed to fine-tune the ANN's hyperparameters (especially the weight and bias), as well as the number of layers, neurons, and activation functions, to improve regression-based forecasting. The GBOANN model achieves a Mean Squared Error (MSE) of 0.562 and a Root Mean Squared Percentage Error (RMSPE) of 5.63%, outperforming other metaheuristic methods like BMO, SSA, DA, MVO, and EMA. This study demonstrates the GBO-ANN model's potential for accurate real-time air quality forecasting, offering a robust, sustainable solution. © 2025 IEEE.
