computers play a significant part in the modern world. The rapid increase in computer use, especially after the COVID-19 pandemic, raised concerns about the potential negative impact on user health. Sitting posture, eye health, stress, and sleep are the most important factors when considering the health of daily computer users. It is more important to prevent issues from occurring than to find solutions once they have occurred. To address this issue, a Real-Time computer User Action Monitoring Approach is proposed that uses machine learning techniques to monitor and preserve user health effectively. Importantly, this solution leverages only the built-in webcam, eliminating the need for costly external equipment and ensuring affordability. The proposed solution consists of four key components: sitting posture detection and correction, eye tracking for eye health and comfort, stress detection and reduction techniques, and drowsiness detection for enhanced productivity and safety. This approach assists users in avoiding harmful behaviors, fosters healthful computer use by providing real-time feedback, and offers personalized recommendations. © 2023 IEEE.

Skin health significantly affects a person's overall wellbeing, which includes both physical and emotional aspects. The objective of this study is to develop an integrated system for recommending skincare products that integrates image processing, machine learning, sentiment analysis, and user feedback analysis to deliver individualized skincare advice and boost user satisfaction. Utilizing deep learning algorithms and face cues, the system uses user image analysis to detect important skin features, skin type, acne severity, and dark spots with extraordinary accuracy. Using sentiment analysis and clustering, the program identifies popular skincare products and tailors' recommendations to user preferences. Recommendations are further personalized by collaborative filtering. By using image analysis to identify allergies and other negative effects, user safety is increased. The technique prioritizes data safety and includes model training, sentiment analysis, image processing, and user input analysis. Initial findings demonstrate the excellent accuracy of skin issue detection and severity prediction. By allowing users from a variety of user demographics to make informed skincare decisions, this complete framework has the potential to change the skincare industry. © 2023 IEEE.

In today's fast-paced work environment, stress levels have become a critical concern. This research introduces an innovative approach to address this issue by utilizing readily available, cost-effective components - the ESP32 microcontroller and the MAX30102 heart rate sensor, seamlessly integrated into an external mouse. This non-intrusive system enables real-time stress assessment for developers during their tasks. By analyzing heart rate variability data, a practical and effective solution is offered. The collected data is securely transmitted for analysis, potentially revolutionizing developer well-being and productivity. This research confronts the growing challenges of rising suicide rates and crime in Sri Lanka through a dual approach, harnessing advanced machine learning and time series analysis. The innovative methodology, merging 'Feature Importance Weighting and Ensemble of Diverse Trees with the Random Forest Regressor,' achieves impressive accuracy of 93% for factors and 94% for methods. Additionally, the accuracy rates of 94% for education and 93% for occupationbased predictions enhance this comprehensive approach, offering a profound understanding of suicidal incidents and enabling precise prevention strategies. Simultaneously this study employs an ensemble of AutoRegressive Integrated Moving Average (ARIMA) models for crime prediction. This approach consistently attains high accuracy, often surpassing 90%, such as 96% and 97%. Utilizing multiple models enhances predictive accuracy and hotspot identification, granting law enforcement and policymakers flexibility to address enduring yearly hotspots and evolving dynamic hotspots. This research bridges the comprehension of suicide and crime dynamics in Sri Lanka, providing invaluable insights for evidence-based policies and targeted interventions. © 2023 IEEE.

For the evaluation of our work, we used a brain tumor MRI dataset obtained from Kaggle for the experimental analysis. Our study investigates the performance of ensemble learning techniques for brain tumor classification. This study focuses on comparing the efficacy of homogenous ensemble classifiers, exemplified by the Random Forest (RF) algorithm, against heterogeneous ensemble classifiers like Voting and Stacking, this study embarks on a thorough evaluation journey. Our evaluation is not limited to accuracy measures only;instead, it surrounds recall, ROC AUC, precision, and F1-score, for better assessment of classifiers’ performance. Our findings demonstrate that the Random Forest classifier achieved an accuracy of 99%, an F1 score of 0.99%, and AUC of 0.99%, outperforming other ensemble techniques like Voting and Stacking classifiers. Building upon an observed assessment performed on an appropriately selected brain tumor dataset, we provide solid empirical support demonstrating that RF not only performs better than base classifiers but also outperforms the heterogeneous ensemble methods in terms of many different performance measures. Furthermore, we discuss the specific reason that makes RF outperform other algorithms in this dataset and discuss the robustness and flexibility of this method. By unscrambling these insights, this paper addresses to fill gaps in the existing knowledge regarding the ensemble learning techniques in medical imaging, particularly for brain tumor classification diagnostics. © 2024 Slovene Society Informatika. This paper investigates the (quasi-)periodicity of a string when the string is edited. A string C is called a cover (as known as a quasi-period) of a string T if each character of T lies within some occurrence of C. By definition, a cover of T must be a border of T;that is, it occurs both as a prefix and as a suffix of T. In this paper, we focus on the changes in the longest border and the shortest cover of a string when the string is edited only once. We propose a data structure of size O(n) that computes the longest border and the shortest cover of the string in O(log n) time after an edit operation (either insertion, deletion, or substitution of some string) is applied to the input string T of length n, where is the length of the string being inserted or substituted. WSNs are applied in many disciplines where certain conditions require the ability to adapt to network sink mobility and changes in the dynamics of the area coverage. To meet these needs, it is necessary to develop integrated systems where the ''terrestrial' systems and the Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAVs)' collect data from sensors efficiently. Planning of UAV trajectories is another challenging issue if many WSN nodes are randomly deployed. This challenge has a big impact on the overall effectiveness of the system. This paper presents a novel approach for reducing the traveled distance of unscrewed aerial vehicles (UAVs) to improve the data collection efficiency in WSNs with poor node density. Yet the method that has been developed is aimed at increasing 'the efficiency and efficacy of data collection... with the assistance of Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAVs)' which means this work reveals practical application solutions. © 2024 IEEE.

The advanced integrated circuits have been widely used in various situations including the Internet of Things,wireless communication,*** its manufacturing process exists unreliability,so cryptographic chips must be rigorously *** to scan testing provides high test coverage,it is applied to the testing of cryptographic integrated ***,while providing good controllability and observability,it also provides attackers with a backdoor to steal *** the text,a novel protection scheme is put forward to resist scan-based attacks,in which we first use the responses generated by a strong physical unclonable function circuit to solidify fuseantifuse structures in a non-linear shift register(NLSR),then determine the scan input code according to the configuration of the fuse-antifuse structures and the styles of connection between the NLSR cells and the scan *** the key is right,the chip can be tested normally;otherwise,the data in the scan chain cannot be propagated normally,it is also impossible for illegal users to derive the desired scan *** proposed technique not only enhances the security of cryptographic chips,but also incurs acceptable overhead.

The world of vehicle service and troubleshooting can be daunting for individuals without specialized training. Vehicle manuals are often complex and challenging to comprehend, while relying on experienced mechanics for assistance can be inconvenient and expensive. To address these challenges, this research paper presents the development of an interactive vehicle service assistance system that empowers vehicle owners to independently service and troubleshoot their vehicles. The proposed system encompasses four key components: a knowledgebase construction, write semantic rules (SWRL), real-time object identification using YOLO model, audio feedback and stepwise guidance for customer. The knowledgebase is used for stepwise guidance for disassembling engine through employing marker-less Augmented Reality (AR). The knowledgebase component offers user-friendly access to troubleshooting techniques based on insights from experienced mechanics. By providing stepwise instructions accompanied by AR based visualization, users can effectively learn the process of deconstructing and assembling different components of their automobiles. The proposed system enhances vehicle troubleshooting experiences by enabling owners to acquire the necessary skills to self-troubleshooting without involving external assistance and empower individuals to take control of their own vehicles. © 2023 IEEE.

A deep learning model framework for diabetic retinopathy detection

Diabetic retinopathy (DR) is the typical diabetic eye issue and a main reason of blindness around the world. As per the International Diabetes Federation (IDF), the rates of diabetes would rise to 552 million by 2034. Breakthroughs in computer science techniques inclusive of artificial intelligence (AI) and deep learning (DL) have multiplied opportunities for early detection of DR. This indicates that the likelihood of a patient's healing will improve, and the risk of eyesight loss could be minimised in due course. A deep learning model (ResNet) for medical DR detection was examined in this article. The dataset of Asia Pacific Tele-Ophthalmology Society (APTOS) 2019 was used to train and test the DL model. To demonstrate the vitality of the chosen ResNet model, performance measures and testing accuracy like recall, precision, and F1 score were determined. The modified ResNet model attained a testing accuracy of around 84% even with only a few dataset images. Also, training time and computational complexity were reduced with this simpler model.
