In Mobile sensor Networks, Each and every wireless node dynamically changes its location due to its mobility nature. The routing information is maintained by the master node to deliver a data packet from source to destination. The attackers easily hack this wireless network. The performance of the complete networks is dropped by packets transmission attacks. Attacker node drops the packet. An enhanced protection technique in response to packets transmission misbehaviour attacks is provided to increase the energy efficiency of mobile nodes. This paper proposed the Cryptographic formed Malicious Node Detection and Secure Routing framework (CMNDSR). This model incorporates three various strategies specially algorithm for control of access, to protects initial illegal node in the network. The suspected identification and prevention techniques based on hop count value. Secure routing method with a private key generated at random like one time password (OTP). The proposed methods are power efficient, by operating a minimum number of nodes in challenging environment. The misbehaviour nodes are promptly identified and isolated using this proposed approach. The Cryptographic based Secure routing algorithm is applied to provide secure transmission in wireless networking environment. The outcomes of the simulation display how effectively the recommended approach can identify malicious nodes in a MANET. In comparison with previous methods, the energy consumption is 10% lower and the suspicious node detection rate is increased by 95%. © 2024 IEEE.

The main objective of the study is to predict the probability of developing heart disease using a Decision Tree Classifier, K-nearest neighbors, and Support Vector Machine, Logistic Regression. Age, sexual pressure, quantity, and levels are among the variables included in the Kaggle dataset. A combination of accuracy, sensitivity, and specificity was used to train and evaluate the algorithms. Based on the accuracy of participants' predictions, the results suggest that learning algorithms could help treat heart *** "Heart Disease Prediction"project contains all project information and results. Contributing to the use of multiple algorithms improves patient outcomes to enhance the detection and treatment of heart diseases. Logistic Regression has achieved an accuracy of 86.41%. A module capable of predicting heart disease in a patient has been implemented. A variety of techniques are employed to assess models, including F-measure, ROC, precision, recall, and accuracy. The bagging set learning method using logistic regression provides the best performance, according to the data. © 2024 IEEE.

Applications of internet-of-things(IoT)are increasingly being used in many facets of our daily life,which results in an enormous volume of *** computing and fog computing,two of the most common technologies used in IoT applications,have led to major security *** are on the rise as a result of the usage of these technologies since present security measures are *** artificial intelligence(AI)based security solutions,such as intrusion detection systems(IDS),have been proposed in recent *** technologies that require data preprocessing and machine learning algorithm-performance augmentation require the use of feature selection(FS)techniques to increase classification accuracy by minimizing the number of features *** the other hand,metaheuristic optimization algorithms have been widely used in feature selection in recent *** this paper,we proposed a hybrid optimization algorithm for feature selection in *** proposed algorithm is based on grey wolf(GW),and dipper throated optimization(DTO)algorithms and is referred to as *** proposed algorithm has a better balance between the exploration and exploitation steps of the optimization process and thus could achieve better *** the employed IoT-IDS dataset,the performance of the proposed GWDTO algorithm was assessed using a set of evaluation metrics and compared to other optimization approaches in 2678 CMC,2023,vol.74,no.2 the literature to validate its *** addition,a statistical analysis is performed to assess the stability and effectiveness of the proposed *** results confirmed the superiority of the proposed approach in boosting the classification accuracy of the intrusion in IoT-based networks.

Accurate prediction of mortality in nasopharyngeal carcinoma (NPC), a complex malignancy particularly challenging in advanced stages, is crucial for optimizing treatment strategies and improving patient outcomes. However, this predictive process is often compromised by the high-dimensional and heterogeneous nature of NPC-related data, coupled with the pervasive issue of incomplete multi-modal data, manifesting as missing radiological images or incomplete diagnostic reports. Traditional machine learning approaches suffer significant performance degradation when faced with such incomplete data, as they fail to effectively handle the high-dimensionality and intricate correlations across modalities. Even advanced multi-modal learning techniques like Transformers struggle to maintain robust performance in the presence of missing modalities, as they lack specialized mechanisms to adaptively integrate and align the diverse data types, while also capturing nuanced patterns and contextual relationships within the complex NPC data. To address these problem, we introduce IMAN: an adaptive network for robust NPC mortality prediction with missing modalities. IMAN features three integrated modules: the Dynamic Cross-Modal Calibration (DCMC) module employs adaptive, learnable parameters to scale and align medical images and field data;the Spatial-Contextual Attention Integration (SCAI) module enhances traditional Transformers by incorporating positional information within the self-attention mechanism, improving multi-modal feature integration;and the Context-Aware Feature Acquisition (CAFA) module adjusts convolution kernel positions through learnable offsets, allowing for adaptive feature capture across various scales and orientations in medical image modalities. Extensive experiments on our proprietary NPC dataset demonstrate IMAN's robustness and high predictive accuracy, even with missing data. The discovery of Road Traffic Accident (RTA) patterns is vital to formulate mitigation strategies based on the characteristics of RTA. Various studies have applied association rule mining for RTA pattern discovery. However, limited research has conducted a comparative analysis of RTA patterns in different regions. This work is necessary to identify the similarities and differences of RTA characteristics between different regions, especially the developed and developing countries with different RTA trends in fatality rates. This work explored the application of association rule mining (FP-Growth algorithm) to discover and compare the RTA patterns for developed and developing countries. The Orange Data Mining software is used to discover RTA patterns for Ethiopia (12,317 samples) and the UK (United Kingdom) (1,048,575 samples), representing developing and developed countries. Eventually, findings showed similarities and differences in RTA patterns between Ethiopia and the UK. Road characteristics and conditions are the common factors contributing to RTA severity levels, while other crucial factors include the light condition and speed limit. In conclusion, the discovery of RTA patterns in different regions is beneficial to assist in formulating strategies to reduce the risk of RTA. Future work is necessary to discover the RTA patterns from different perspectives, such as seasonal or periodical variations of RTA patterns. © 2023 IEEE.

In an era marked by escalating cybersecurity threats,our study addresses the challenge of malware variant detection,a significant concern for amultitude of sectors including petroleum and mining *** paper presents an innovative Application Programmable Interface(API)-based hybrid model designed to enhance the detection performance of malware *** model integrates eXtreme Gradient Boosting(XGBoost)and an Artificial Neural Network(ANN)classifier,offering a potent response to the sophisticated evasion and obfuscation techniques frequently deployed by malware *** model’s design capitalizes on the benefits of both static and dynamic analysis to extract API-based features,providing a holistic and comprehensive view of malware *** these features,we construct two XGBoost predictors,each of which contributes a valuable perspective on the malicious activities under *** outputs of these predictors,interpreted as malicious scores,are then fed into an ANN-based classifier,which processes this data to derive a final *** strength of the proposed model lies in its capacity to leverage behavioral and signature-based features,and most importantly,in its ability to extract and analyze the hidden relations between these two types of *** efficacy of our proposed APIbased hybrid model is evident in its performance *** outperformed other models in our tests,achieving an impressive accuracy of 95%and an F-measure of 93%.This significantly improved the detection performance of malware variants,underscoring the value and potential of our approach in the challenging field of cybersecurity.

The ability to continuously follow a target person in a dynamically changing environment remains a major challenge that indoor companion robots confront. Ongoing human following is complicated by close similarity matching and target occlusions. Person Re-Identification (re-ID) is a computer vision task that can help with the problem of intentional or unintentional occlusion of the subject or person of interest. Numerous research has been conducted on re-ID where the basic assumption is that the gallery set will only have non-occluded person images. This paper examines the problem from a human detection perspective and surveys the state-of-the-art of person re-ID, their achievement and shortcomings. A region-based convolutional neural network (R-CNN) Re-ID is proposed in this research. The findings from the prototyping and evaluation demonstrate that the proposed person Re-ID model is reliable for indoor re-ID situations. Thus, future works in this direction include investigating other factors, such as the number of persons in a scene and varying viewing angles of the probed target person, which can impact the performance of the proposed re-ID model. © 2023 ACM.

Stock market forecasting is important for financial decision-making and risk management. Among the various time series models, the Autoregressive (p) Integrated (d) Moving Average (q) (ARIMA) model has been widely adopted for its simplicity and effectiveness in capturing temporal patterns. However, selecting appropriate ARIMA orders remains a crucial and challenging task, impacting the accuracy of predictions. This paper presents a comprehensive statistical comparison of ARIMA order performance in the context of stock market forecasting. We examine the impact of different ARIMA model orders. Our study utilizes historic New York Stock Exchange (NYSE) stock price data. Our findings shed light on the complex interplay between ARIMA parameters and predictive accuracy, offering valuable insights for robust financial forecasting. © 2023 IEEE.
