After adopting 5G technology, businesses and academia have started working on sixth-generation wireless networking (6G) technologies. Mobile communications options are expected to expand in areas where previous generations could not do so. 6G networks are anticipated to be constructed using various diverse technologies. These encompass diverse cutting-edge advancements, such as distributed ledger systems like blockchain, visible light communications (VLC), post-quantum cryptography, edge computing, molecular communication, THz, and other advances. These advances necessitate a reassessment of previous security strategies from a security perspective. In the future, networks must adhere to stricter criteria for authentication, encryption, access control, connectivity, and detection of harmful activities. Ensuring privacy and dependability necessitates the implementation of supplementary security protocols. The essay explores the primary concerns and challenges related to the security of the 6G network. This paper describes the improvements in security in communications from 1G through 6G. This paper divides security in the sixth generation into three layers: physical, connection, and service. Each layer-by-layer discusses the standard technologies and security issues for each technology proposed in each sixth-generation security layer. All proposed solutions for each of the three layers are discussed in Sixth Generation Security. It also reviews all proposed solutions for each layer, indicating the proposed solution and its limitations. © The Author(s) 2025.

Legal professionals and law students often grapple with the arduous task of locating prior Supreme Court rulings for argument preparation and academic study, leading to a laborious and resource-intensive process. This study introduces an innovative approach to streamline the retrieval of legal information from Sri Lankan Supreme Court verdicts. The method centers on developing a Custom Named Entity Recognition (NER) model, boasting a remarkable accuracy exceeding 90%. This model efficiently extracts crucial legal entities from Supreme Court rulings, readily available on the Ministry of Justice's Supreme Court website. The high accuracy ensures precise entity extraction, followed by systematic organization within a dedicated database. Subsequently, a knowledge graph is formed by linking recorded legal entities, reducing information retrieval time to a mere 179 milliseconds, significantly outperforming existing methods. Moreover, a BART summarization model is crafted to generate concise, accurate, and insightful summaries of Supreme Court decisions, boasting an impressive ROGUE1 score of 85%. This approach revolutionizes legal information retrieval, delivering a user-friendly platform that enhances the identification of cases and fosters a deeper understanding, ultimately elevating the quality of legal research and practice. © 2023 IEEE.

Creating groundbreaking solutions that benefit the populace is imperative in the modern era. The Internet of Things (IoT) serves as a trailblazing sector, fostering the development of contrivances automating an array of tasks. The IoT encompasses an interlinked network of cyber-connected contrivances executing functions with minimal human intervention. Capitalizing on IoT principles, this exploration endeavors to contrive a device aiding individuals grappling with mobility impediments. The envisioned gizmo consists of two primary sectors: a hardware module featuring a channel relay, Arduino, and an astute luminescent bulb, and a software element encompassing cloud and IoT platforms alongside a purpose-built app. The chief function of this contraption is to discern specific vocalizations in an individual's utterances, effectuating or deactivating the astute contraption to institute an intelligent habitation. In the initial phase, a luminous bulb will serve as a demonstration, employing for app origination. The distinctive aspect of this program lies in its vocalization-receptive microphone, with Bluetooth and Wi-Fi chips augmenting transmission velocity between the luminescent bulb and the mobile device. Meticulous attention will be accorded to auditory sensitivity and expeditious data transmission, with potential integration of diverse contrivances like ventilators and temperature-regulating apparatus into the envisioned gizmo. Furthermore, contemplation extends to a fortified safety attribute ensuring singular response to a particular vocal identity. © 2024 IEEE.

Most of the images on the Internet are color images, and steganalysis of color images is a very critical issue in the field of steganalysis. The current proposed color image steganalysis features mainly rely on manual design, and the steganalysis features do not fully consider the internal connections between the three channels of color images. Most steganalyzers based on deep learning are also designed for grayscale images. In recent years, the continuous introduction of advanced steganography techniques for color images has also brought more severe challenges to the steganography analysis of color images. Quaternions are a tool that can effectively represent color images, and utilizing quaternion transformations can fully exploit the correlation between color image channels. Combining quaternion theory with convolutional neural networks, this paper proposed a color image steganalysis algorithm based on quaternion convolutional neural networks. Firstly, the image is represented by quaternion, and then input into the quaternion convolutional neural network. The convolution kernel in the network is composed of quaternions, and then perform convolution and pooling. The analysis of the processes between supplier and customer and the detection and handling of defects is based on objective, quantified criteria so that customer complaints can be handled as efficiently as possible, with the least possible inconvenience. One possible risk-management method is FMEA, or Failure Mode(s) and Effect(s) Analysis, which allows a team to anticipate and prevent failures from occurring anywhere. It is an analytical methodology to identify and check for potential problems when designing a product, service or process. It can be used to reduce the number of defective supplies and thus indirectly increase customer satisfaction (by more efficient purchasing, the price can be kept lower and the quality higher, and fewer customer complaints from end users can be expected). It was used in this study to assess the supplier quality of a Hungarian industrial company in the FMCG sector and to make tangible improvements in a short time to eliminate supplier defects. © 2023 Budapest University of technology and Economics. Children's physical, mental and emotional development depends heavily on sleep, with age-specific sleep needs fluctuating. Malnutrition may result from eating too little, absorbing nutrients poorly, being unwell, living in poverty or not knowing enough about nutrition. Food allergies and iron insufficiency are two examples of illnesses whose onsets might differ depending on environmental exposures and genetics. By providing proper diet, getting medical attention when necessary and encouraging healthy behaviors, parents play a crucial role in supporting their children's health. For children to grow and develop properly, they need meals high in fruits, vegetables, milk, protein, calcium, iron and fiber. Key advantages of a balanced diet include aiding bone formation, improving heart health and encouraging regular bowel motions and digestion. In general, children's general health and wellness depend on caregivers being aware of their dietary requirements and giving them the proper attention. The findings of the research imply that machine learning algorithms may be useful in understanding and predicting the prevalence of malnutrition in children. Furthermore, these algorithms could provide perceptive data that might help politicians create effective policies. In this research, we make use of five different machine learning algorithms. With a decision tree, the accuracy is 0.92%, followed by svm which provides 0.91%, KNN, which provides 0.84%, GBM classifier, which provides 0.79% and random forest, which provides 0.65%. © 2025 IEEE.

Intrusion detection systems (IDSs) are amongst the most important automated defense mechanisms in modern industry. It is guarding against many attack vectors, especially in healthcare, where sensitive information (patients medical history, prescriptions, electronic health records, medical bills/debts, and many other sensitive data points) is open to compromise from adversaries. In the big data era, classical machine learning has been applied to train IDS. However, classical IDS tend to be complex: either using several hidden layers susceptible to overfitting on training data or using overly complex architectures such as convolutional neural networks, long-short term memory systems, and recurrent neural networks. This article explored the combination of principles of quantum mechanics and neural networks to train IDS. A hybrid classical-quantum neural architecture is proposed with a quantum-Assisted activation function that successfully captures patterns in the dataset while having less architectural memory footprint than classical solutions. The experimental results are demonstrated on the popular KDD99 dataset while comparing our solution to other classical models. Impact Statement Intrusion detection systems are dynamic defenses against network breach attacks. Lately, machine learning has been leveraged to perform automated intrusion detection. However, classical machine learning needs a large amount of data and overly complex architectures to "learn" patterns from data. In this work, we leverage machine learning concepts to derive a novel quantum activation function that greatly simplifies neural architectural complexity while achieving same level of accuracy and performance. Our architecture is much simpler than state-ofthe-Art based classical systems, simpler to train, and easy to handle. © 2024 Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers Inc..
