The motivation behind this paper is to instigate the bystander towards acceptance of Cloud Based FYP System. The system is developed in such a way that implements a paperless engagement system. It is pragmatic for all the institutes that are collaborating with students on the project specially Final Year Project. In this paper there is a brief discussion that how users can use the cloud services to affix with each other while in different places. The designing of system is based on different portals. To access these portals users have to register them. User can easily record and update data. The feature of online chat is also available that will helpful for the students. The updating from the users are also available that can be weekly. © 2019 IEEE.

Generating effective communication links in an offshore environment is a vital need for the oil and gas industry as well as the military domain. The highly conductive medium of the environment is yet the biggest hurdle to develop the channel. Focusing towards the challenges lies in underwater communication channel, this paper first presents an efficient transmitter and receiver design using the conduction current method. Subsequent to the design development, a comparative analysis is presented that can be used to model an optimum underwater communication channel through electromagnetic conduction. Effect of different channel characterization parameters is discussed such as conductivity, frequency and transmitter and receiver antenna separation. Through an efficient circuit design for transmitter and receiver, increasing frequencies increased the signal strength is proved. Further statistical analysis revealed that in the developed experimental setup, 100 kHz has a greater possibility in designing an efficient demodulation circuit design. The promising results have proved the possibilities in way forward for the technology.

Security and surveillance are the prime focus for any organization that chooses to be safe from any kind of physical threats. Installation of video surveillance systems can cost organizations a big portion of their financial budget and can lead to significant changes in their network infrastructure. The purpose of our research is to minimize the hurdles in setting up the video surveillance system into organizations that has open areas, that cannot afford to let any outsider to get into their networks and that need many costly cameras to cover their entire place. By installing cameras on an unmanned ground vehicle (UGV) that can move around in a specified area using geographic coordinate system, by smartly choosing its own path for its automatically generated destinations within the area. The UGV can also be manually controlled by the means of analog transmission within specified range. The video is transmitted using analog video transmitter and can be received over a specific channel using the analog video receiver, and can be observed using the developed software on any computer. software developed for the ground control station can smartly identify an employee or an outsider using deep learning model trained on the faces of the employees and can alert the organization on its own when it detects any intrusion. Our research increased the range of wireless video surveillance and reduced the financial and architectural barriers for installing video surveillance into the organization.

Efficient radio waves propagation with associated data transfer in conductive seawater is yet a challenge due to high attenuation as compared to air. The domain needs room for improvement for larger data transfer distance (>1m). If improved, the applications include marine activities and offshore oil and gas industries will be in a greater benefit. This paper presents an experimental design for data transfer link using conduction current method. The gain and the filter are well-calibrated for the frequencies ranging from 10kHz to 1 MHz with varying baud rates. Performance analysis of the experimental design using electrodes based transmitter system enabled authentic data collection with enhanced configurability. Evaluating Bit Error Rate (BER) while varying data speed and varying transmission distance revealed that at the constant carrier frequency and circuit tuning BER increases up to 88% upon increasing the data rate (10 KHz). Similarly, on increasing electrodes separation, the acceptable higher data rates are received with slightly less efficiency than the received signal at lower data rates. © 2019 IEEE.

Social media is a growing field, mostly everyone is availing the benefits of it. It seems that overuse of this technology may cripple academic standards of our next generations. Nevertheless research studies in this direction is limited, and recent information systems scholars has warranted more research in this direction. The motive of this study is to explore how excessive social media use affects students' academic performance and come up with a suggestion to reduce social media usage and increase educational learning of an individual. Using primary data collected from Pakistani university students, 265 entries were analyzed using SPSS tool. Findings suggest that usage of social networking sites has a significant result on undue use of social media. Furthermore, results also indicated that unwarranted use of social media has a detrimental effect on learning performance. Results also supported the idea that student technology self-efficacy diminishes the undesirable association between excessive social media use and academic performance.

Public transportation is significant in an economical city like Yangon. In Yangon, there are four types of public transport facilities;mostly peoples can choose bus, train, taxi and water bus particularly. Railway system in Yangon city is not very developed. Most of the peoples have to depend on the buses system in the city. The massive amount of using buses in the city as the disadvantages;it can lead to traffic jam and air pollution. In this research article, we proposed an efficient software tool with user-friendly Graphical User Interface (GUI) that can help to upgrade the Yangon city railway system to the intelligent railway system and simulate the Yangon Circular Railway system to a greater extent. In the proposed software, we can easily visualize the train movement, modify the number of stations, the arrival rate, generate the simulation graph, modify the train, stations and speed, etc., to utilize the current resources. © 2020 IEEE.

Demand for compact, lightweight and low cost satellites is on continuous rise. One of the space models lying under these constraints is CanSat. This paper proposed a complete model of CanSat consisting of mechanical and electrical systems confined within a volume of a soda can with the exception of parachute. It is equipped with a parachute based recovery subsystem which is independent of burst altitude and can be recovered at any time. The proposed CanSat performs the primary mission of sensing the atmospheric parameters like temperature, pressure and altitude;and sending the real time parameters to the ground station GUI for display. It also performs the secondary mission of imagery and stores the images for future use. This paper also describes the ascent, descent velocities and payload calculations for a particular CanSat design. Pragmatically CanSat is a powerful device that provides a platform to realize the fundamental subsystems of an actual satellite. © 2019 IEEE.

The insurance industry works on the principle of risk. Customer take out policies based on their assessment of a particularly bad thing happening to them, and insurers offer them cover based on their assessment of the cost of covering any claims. Automobile insurance, also called motor/vehicle insurance, is a contract between the owner or operator of a vehicle and the insurance company, which protects against financial loss incurred through damage to property or persons as the result of an accident or theft. The amount of premium depends on various factors such as insured declared value, type of the vehicle, life of the vehicle, fuel type, age of the insured, and others. Additionally, the type of automotive insurance also depends on the legal principles in effect in each country. Generally, automotive insurance provides coverage for property (damage to or theft of the vehicle), liability (legal responsibility of the owner or operator towards others for body injury or vehicle damage), and medical (cost of treating injuries, rehabilitation, and sometimes lost wages and funeral expenses). Automotive insurance policies are generally issues for the timeframe of six months or one year and are renewable. Therefore, it would benefit everyone if there were a way to more accurately assess risks. In the age of Data Analytics and Data engineering, using vehicle port OBD-II port is being introduced. However, the data which insurers were getting from telematics solution was not meant to be displayed to customers. For this argumentation a pro efficient eBus Services System (EBS) is to be proposed in this paper to overcome these issues faced by passengers during transport reservation inside the nation. The system provides web and android application based structure that allows the guest to check eBus accessibility, make reservation and pay charges through online payment gateway. Which is stylish now a days. EBS will help population to reserve tickets of journeys and it also allows passengers to compare estimate fares, services of different service providers. Development of system is based on agile software development approach and Unified Modeling Language(UML). The idea is to gather all conveyor & agent and their services on one platform. So, the tourist can easily appoint and lined up according to them decide on. This entity will also present the functionality of tracking the bus, you can track the bus if your agnate, relatives makes a journey. This paper proposed eBus Services system. eBus Services was developed by using Bootstrap, server side scripting by using PHP, MYSQL, JQuery and JavaScript to make client end responsive and user friendly and AJAX to reduce load from server.

Optimal Long-Term Power Sector Planning for Pakistan Through Modelling of Base and Alternate Scenarios

Background: Engineers, planners and economists model electricity system to forecast the demand and energy mix scenarios on the basis of different factors including economic, environmental and other aspects. The present study specifically concentrates on long-term electrical power sector planning for Pakistan up to 2040 while considering the effect of economic, technical, political and social factors. Methods: In this research, Long-range Energy Alternative Planning system (LEAP)® software is used to determine future electrical power demand and generation plan. Three different models are developed to predict the electricity demand of Pakistan including empirical model, econometric model and econometric model with linear regression. Generation plan is developed based on current government policies under baseline scenario. Baseline scenario has compared with alternate scenarios including delay in hydro, green energy source maximization and energy conservation for period from 2018-2040. Economic analysis has been performed by comparing different scenarios to investigate and quantify their economic benefits. Results: Electricity demand projected from the three models are found to be 470 TWh, 530 TWh and 230 TWh for 2040 which was 57.35 TWh in the base year 2004 and 94.47 TWh in 2017. Electricity generation projected for 2040 for Pakistan with econometric model with linear regression estimated to be 270 TWh which was 80.5 TWh in 2004 and 119.35 TWh in 2017. From the economic analysis, delay in hydro scenario was found to be the most expensive scenario with a total loss of 88 billion US dollars up to 2040. Green energy scenario and energy conservation scenario saves around 13 billion US dollar and 91 billion US dollar respectively. Cost based optimization scenario saves a huge cost of 461.7 billion US dollar compared to baseline scenario because of less running cost and negligible fuel import cost.
