In the field of software engineering, Requirements Traceability is becoming a dynamic area of research. Producing numerous artifacts is crucial activity to maintain and yield high quality software. These artifacts are created and generated throughout the lifetime of software development, and are highly interrelated where the impact of any change in either artifact imparts changes on all the relevant product outcomes. This research focuses on the identification of inherent relationships that occur and became existent in the software requirements engineering activity due to which new and hidden traces among the artifacts including those to be self-created or generated at a later juncture can be discovered as a Post-RS1 activity. This results in the reduction of traces to be found at a later development period and offers faster identification and realization of traces among innumerable artifacts. As a consequence of this scheme, the complexity of generating traces among artifacts is reduced and the overall quality of the software improves. © 2012 International Journal of Computer Science Issues.

The recent developments in the field of optical communication have increased the need for Opto-Electronic Integrated Circuit (OEIC) used for the high speed data transmission with low power consumption, high bandwidth and compact size. Our research presents the OEIC chip with two metal layer waveguide and low power receiver circuit using standard CMOS technology. The silicon dioxide waveguide is composed of two metal layers, which is reducing metal layers to make OEIC cost effective. The silicon LED is fabricated using n-well/p-substrate with p+ octagonal rings. The p+/n-well forms the series pn junction to increase the light emitting area which operates in reverse bias mode. Photo detector is made of multiple pn junctions to increase the depletion region width with n+ active implantation/n-well fabricated on the p-substrate. The photocurrent receiver circuit is made up of MOSFET to perform the function of photo detection and pre-amplification. © 2012 International Journal of Computer Science Issues.

Passive elements such as inductors, capacitors, and transformers have the potential to improve the performance of key RF building blocks. Despite the fact about their utilization, is not only the need of proper modeling of electrostatic and magneto-static effects, but also is the coupling of electromagnetic parasitic substrate. In this paper, a custom-built computer-aided-design tool called ASITIC, "Analysis and Simulation of Inductors and Transformers for Integrated Circuits" is illustrated, which is vastly used for analysis, design, and optimization of passive devices. This tool allows circuit and process engineers to design and optimize the geometry of passive devices and the process parameters to meet electrical specifications optimally. Since, the losses in the passive devices determine the achievable gain and power dissipation, thus optimization of such passive devices is now becoming an integral part in the design of such building blocks. © 2012 International Journal of Computer Science Issues.

Cellular networks are becoming most prevalent network. Different applications are being deployed on them due to their ubiquity and reliability. We have been working on designing an emergency medical data transmission system named MEDTOC that would carry aggregated patient data on cellular network to the hospital. In this paper, we present an efficient scheme which implements the transfer of moving patient's vital signs to hospital via GSM network. This scheme was implemented and tested by writing a Java based client-server application to transfer patients' vital sign information. Post-transmission operations include archiving, classifying and presenting the vital signs data on demand. We have investigated the problem of classifying patients based on their condition, as assessed through vital signs. With that information, patients can be assigned to the appropriate physician for remote monitoring.

In this paper a vision based lane tracking and velocity dependant cruise control system is presented as automatic highway system. The system developed, uses different image processing techniques to detect lanes. It maintains a safe distance by calculating the distance from the leading vehicle. For lane tracking and to calculate the orientation of the vehicle on the road, Hough transform is used. On the other hand, a PID controller is designed for the nonlinear vehicle dynamics in order to track the velocity of the leading vehicle and to maintain a safe distance. The complete model has been implemented and simulated using Matlab and the results shows that the system successfully detects the lanes and the distance from the leading vehicle. © 2011 IEEE.

The objective of this research paper is to develop such a system which can transmit the pressure of the tire on a module, which can not only display the air pressure of the tire but also maintain the pressure of tire by operating an air filling machine. Key elements of this research are pressure sensor, microcontroller, RF transceiver, solenoid valve and analog to digital converter (AD C). This system is basically divided in to two section one is hanging on the tire other is placed on the car dash board. Whole system continuously monitor and display the tire pressure whenever air pressure inside the tire is decrease from certain level define inside the controller it starts the air filling machine. © 2011 IEEE.

Spyware is one of the biggest emerging threats that can target both home users and organisations simultaneously. Lots of Anti-Spyware products are available in the market which can protect from Spyware threat. Existing research shows that Spyware causes financial loss and efforts are being made to test Spyware to propose the best Anti-Spyware products to the end users. This research focuses on different aspects of Anti-Spyware testing that the test should be conducted in real life environment in which the users operate. Anti-Spyware programs are selected by carefully researching through existing test result s conducted by different internet security companies. The products are evaluated and tested to propose the suitable products to the end users. Some recommendations are also proposed on the basis of this research to help end user to increase their Spyware security. © 2011 IEEE.

The objective of this paper is to develop a system which can transmit the meter reading of local area electric meter to the nearest electric meter billing and controlling station. For this we interfaced analog electric meter with the digital circuitry to provide real-time billing & reading to the customers by using Liquid Crystal Display (LCD). There are basically two ends, one is user end and the other is server end. The meter can either be prepaid or postpaid, which is completely monitored and controlled by the server end of a specific area. Each user will be provided by a pin code to access the meter either for recharge the meter bill or to check the balance in case of prepaid meter. The key elements of this research are micro controller, global system for mobile communication (GSM) module, and analog meter wit h IR module. The whole system is revolving a round the GSM module and the micro controller, where GSM module is used for the wireless data transmission and controller controls the whole operation of the system. © 2011 IEEE.

MC-CDMA (Multi-Code Code Division Multiple Access) and OFDM (Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiplexing) both multiple access techniques may provide high data rates, but they suffer from high PAPR (Peak to Average Power Ratio), which is a major issue in the said Multiple Access techniques. In this communication RM (2, 6) second order Reed Muller code is implemented for optimizing PAPR in MC-CDMA and OFDM. Simulation result show that RM (2, 6) gives optimal power in MCCDMA, and OFDM as well, but much varying in the latter. However, error rate is also almost zero for both techniques. © 2011 IEEE.

In the field of robotic and image vision technologies, the embedded computing and optimization of the image processing algorithm is quite significant in order to provide the real time processing. In the current era, for making the real time system for such high extensive computation and processing for providing the high speed and real time standalone system, several industrial giants continuously providing the solutions which are in the form of dedicated DSP processors and generalized FPGAs. Beside such high speed processor implementation, the image processing based algorithm plays significant role in machine vision based solution for industries, robotic and field of defense. The paper investigate to develop such a system which can recognize the object through its color definition in the scene and alignment of mechanical assembly through the parameters/coordinates found through the image processing algorithm. © 2011 IEEE.
