Developing countries in the world have been fighting street crime for a long time. This problem has become so serious that many times people's lives are lost in this robbery besides the loss of property. The biggest tragedy is that there is no restriction on the free sale of such snatched or stolen items within the market and there is no record of such items anywhere to show that these devices are from someone snatched or stolen and no one should buy them in the market. To address this problem, a user-friendly web application has been proposed that enables users to report stolen devices by providing their IMEI and other relevant identifiers along with location and time of events. Additionally, potential buyers can verify the legitimacy of a product before purchase. This platform aims to create a centralized database to curb the resale of stolen items, enhancing the chances of recovery. The proposed system is based on two algorithms to process the date and to produce results in the form of reports. First algorithm has been presented to provide area wise stolen items with location and time. Second algorithm provides total no. of stolen items with their classification. The results shows that the algorithms have put a significant impact in reducing no of crimes in the city. This solution has the potential to significantly reduce the circulation of stolen devices in the market, benefiting both original owners and potential buyers. Further the application is enable to report the events to law enforcement agencies to control these kind of events. © 2024 IEEE.

As Internet of Things (IoT) is evolving very rapidly which is producing massive amount of data and normally all this data is shifted towards the cloud for further execution which puts burden on the cloud and doesn't fulfill QoS requirements. In order to overcome this problem computing facility were extended towards the edge of the network and the concept is known as Fog computing. Due to heterogeneity of fog nodes and dynamic user requirements, task scheduling in fog computing has become the big challenge. This paper covers the literature review which classify the task scheduling algorithm in terms of approaches, it highlights the parameters mostly used, it also covers the analysis among the available simulation tools and highlight the open issues and challenges which will help the researchers for their problem formulation. © 2023 IEEE.

The urban centers are considered as the prime hub for the human induced climate change consequences due to the higher anthropogenic activities which results in the occurrence of urban heat island and warmer climate in the urban cities. Pakistan is a developing country with high population growth rate, and pulls large population towards its urban centers due to the better life facilities, which is resulting in sprawling urbanization and rapid landuse changes, ultimately affecting the Normal climate patterns of the major urban cities of country. A number of studies have been conducted in the past to investigate the temperature trends over the high elevation zones and lower plains of country. However, this study was conducted to specifically investigate the annual and seasonal temperature trends over the major urban centers of Pakistan including Karachi, Lahore, Islamabad, Peshawar, and Quetta for the period 1990-2020 using the Mann-Kendall test. The Sen's slope estimator method was used to detect the change in magnitude, and the serial correlation in the time series data was removed using the Pre-Whitening method. The results obtained showed a warming trend of annual mean temperature at Karachi, Lahore, Islamabad, and Quetta stations at the rate of about 0.005, 0.005, 0.008, and 0.021 °C/year, respectively at 95% confidence interval, while a substantial decreasing trend was found at the Peshawar station. For the Summer season, Peshawar, Lahore, and Islamabad stations showed a declining trend, while an upward trend was found at the remaining stations. For Winter season, Quetta, Peshawar, Islamabad, and Karachi showed an increasing trend, while a downward trend was found at the Lahore station. For Spring season, Peshawar showed a declining trend, while the remaining stations showed a warming trend. Thus, it was concluded that the landuse changes, rapid urbanization and migrations, and other anthropogenic activities are among the main causes for the warming temperatures

In this project, voice recognition controls the wheelchair. This invention helps disabled, ill, or elderly wheelchair users since the design allows sick or disabled people to navigate by voice. Disabled people need wheelchairs because of weak upper limbs. Since a 24-hour caretaker is unrealistic, a voice-controlled motorized wheelchair is beneficial. As many sick or disabled persons as possible must have inexpensive access. The main purpose is to design a fully voice-controlled wheelchair prototype that can assist disabled people. We used ADUINO to design the prototype and conducted numerous test-runs to measure the efficiency of the system. The built prototype was quick, effective, and highly specific. The use of ARDUINO makes this prototype one-of-A-kind. © 2023 IEEE.

The research described the design and analysis of a bistable actuator for MEMS devices using a curved beam structure. The investigation revolves around the optimization of length, width, and apex height of the microstructure to deflect it to the actuated position. The mechanical behavior was validated using Finite Element Analysis using Ansys Multiphysics with a deviation of 1.94%. The result shows that the beam maintains its second stable state without continuous application of the force which significantly reduces the power consumption. © 2024 IEEE.

This research paper delves into the realm of lung cancer diagnosis, a critical area in modern healthcare owing to its substantial global impact. Leveraging cutting-edge technology and machine learning methodologies, specifically employing the VGG16 model, our study aims to enhance the early detection of lung cancer through the analysis of CT scan images. The dataset utilized comprises CT scan images sourced from the Lung Image Database Consortium (LIDC/IDRI) Image Dataset, categorized into three classes: malignant, benign, and normal. By harnessing the capabilities of the VGG16 model, we seek to accurately predict the classification of CT scan images into these distinct categories. Through rigorous experimentation and analysis, our findings shed light on the efficacy of this approach in aiding medical professionals in the timely identification and classification of lung cancer cases. Ultimately, our research contributes to advancing the field of medical imaging and underscores the potential of deep learning in revolutionizing healthcare diagnostics. © 2024 IEEE.

The warehouse is often the starting point in a supply chain. Ineffectiveness at a warehouse can cascade into the rest of the supply chain, hurting the customers' experience with the business in the long run. Warehouse Optimization System (WOS) play a crucial role in resolving a significant market issue by optimizing warehouse space and logistical procedures, documenting merchant supply and demand patterns, and making it simpler to handle goods that are about to expire, are out of stock, are broken, or have been abandoned by customers. This issue relates to space and storage in the warehouse, due to the fact that business intelligence, which may include algorithms for anticipating sales and managing warehouse capacity, may be connected to warehouse optimization systems. A case study is described in research of a warehouse optimization system, followed by a demonstration of the problem of gaps within the racks of warehouses. The algorithm solves the problem of fitting boxes with varying dimensions into racks. By using automation and careful design, warehouse optimization increases the effectiveness of how time, space, and resources are used in a warehouse, which enhances customer satisfaction. © 2022 IEEE.

To manage the personal daily life data storage on digital equipments and programs, Cyber security plays a vital role. Slowly and gradually, it is going to become a global issue of our society and related to this, it is also very important to have the awareness about it. On different levels there are many platforms that provide awareness about this, such as social media and telecommunication related media. But it is also very important to measure and analyze how many people, especially youth have the information regarding cyber security issues. This study highlighted those cyber security issues that should be known by the students at sir syed university of engineering and technology (SSUET). Also, this study measures and analyzes the current level of cybersecurity awareness (CSA) among the students of SSUET. A total of 256 students have participated in this analysis which is done by using the questionnaire. A total of 33 questions have been asked to each student to measure the cybersecurity students' awareness level. The proposed study has been concluded with different findings which not only show how our youth is taking seriously about the issues which are related to cyber security. Also, what efforts should we take to increase the knowledge among the students. And what should be the role of our society to deal with these issues. © 2025 IEEE.

In recent years, there has been a growing interest in UWSNs as a viable networking strategy for use in a variety of aquatic settings. Improvements in data transmission efficiency and the practical use of routing systems are both made possible via the minimization of energy usage. Due to its fluid nature, limited bandwidth, quick energy depletion, and severe delay, Underwater Wireless Sensor Networks (UWSNs) deliver major hurdles for the development of routing systems. In this paper, we'll take a look at the different strategies to routing in UWSNs. There are now two main groups of routing protocols in use across the world, and each has its own route decision maker. The effectiveness of various routing options is then analyzed by means of a comprehensive review. Additionally, a thorough analysis is performed to investigate prospective areas for further study on routing methods in UWSNs. © 2024 IEEE.
