Monitoring the environment and managing water bodies are crucial for preserving ecosystems and ensuring sustainable resource utilization. This study aims to propose a robust approach for segmenting water bodies by combining various complementary attributes extracted from deep learning techniques. By leveraging deep contextual features learned from attention regions and enhanced edge detection, our method significantly improves the accuracy of detecting water bodies in low-resolution satellite imagery. Utilizing S1 and S2 Sentinel imagery data and exploring multi-band features, we enhance key attributes through advanced UNet architectures - specifically, Ki-UNet and Attention UNet - and integrate complementary features for downstream tasks. Additionally, we assembled a local dataset from the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KPK) region of Pakistan, facilitating precise water body segmentation from satellite or aerial views. Our ensemble model achieved remarkable accuracy and Intersection over Union (IoU) scores, reaching up to 99.01% and 96.2%, respectively, surpassing state-of-the-art models. Cancer is a disease that threatens majority of the world's survival rate. Lung cancer is one of most deadly malignancies, having a high rate of morbidity and death compared to other cancers. The goal of this paper is to identify lung cancer from a CT scan by employing image processing, segmentation, feature extraction and classification of lung cancer with stage detection to find reliable results. Artificial Neural Network has been used for classification and staging of cancerous nodule. This concept is built on Android smartphone technology, and it aims to make cancer diagnosis as simple as possible. Early detection of lung cancer opens the gate to a variety of treatment options, effective recoveries, and eventually, increased survival prospects. The proposed work intends to promote early detection of cancer in lung with stage detection. Our system is able to obtain an accuracy of 96.5%. © 2023 IEEE.

Fingerprints are crucial in identification of humans. The uniqueness of finger prints makes it an interesting subject. Fingerprints are termed as a technique used to define, assess, and quantify a person's physical and behavioral property. Deep learning has made its application in all the major fields such as natural language processing, computer vision and speech processing. Deep learning has also found its application in the important subject of fingerprint synthesis and biometric. The ever-growing complexity of fingerprint authentication issues, from cellphone authentication to airport security systems, seems to be best handled by these models. In recent years, deep learning-based models have been used more and more to raise the accuracy of various fingerprint recognition systems. The persuasive capacity of Generative Adversarial Networks (GANs) to generate believable instances can be credibly taken from an existing distribution of samples. GAN exhibits exceptional performance on data generation-based tasks and also encourages study in privacy and security. In this work, using Adaptive Deep Convolution Generative Adversarial Networks (ADCGAN), we develop a model that generates and authenticate the fingerprints. A Socofing dataset was trained on ADGAN model. The model gave 92% accuracy. The conduct of fingerprint research has been made possible due to ADGAN, without restrictions related to the confidential nature of biometric data. © 2023 IEEE.

Wireless communications have been remarkably & rapidly evolving during last decade. This research work is focused on the Capacity, Throughput and Outage Probability of Cooperative communication protocols and the total latency caused by Cooperative diversity systems. The objectives of this work are as follows: To calculate the throughput;to calculate the probability;Analysis and evaluations of total latency caused by Cooperative diversity systems. For the research methodology, firstly it is discussed that why cooperation is needed and how cooperation is possible in a wireless network. Then the throughput, outage probability, various types of delays, latency requirement has been discussed. Finally, a system model with single and multiple relays has been presented. For analyzing the performance of Cooperative Communication system, MATLAB tool is used as simulator. The simulation parameters are: Channel gains with additive white Gaussian noise (AWGN);BPSK modulation. Currently most of the work is based on analyzing performance improvement by cooperation but not on its possible side effects. Latency and security needs to be addressed carefully. That is why designing a laboratory based wireless cooperative communication prototype could be the best way to determine how much performance enhancement it can bring in real and practical wireless environment. © 2023 IEEE.

Several cutting-edge modern technologies, including hologram technology, have emerged due to the tremendous advancements of our era. The science of holography is used to make holograms, which are 3D images with lifelike graphics. With its vibrant 3D views and immersive experiences, holographic technology transforms into a different form of fields like education, entertainment, advertising, etc. This study outlines an easier way to modify the 2D images into 3D holograms. Blender software and a holographic fan projector are used in this process. The process begins with Blender, the 3D graphics suite, is opened and converts flat images into more detailed animated models. These are then sent to a mobile app which transfers them onto a holographic display easily. The mobile application acts as a convenient medium for users to customize or manage their pictures. Utilizing innovative holographic technology to produce lifelike 3D images, the inquiry focuses on obtaining images from the mobile app and projecting them onto the holographic display. The human hologram and building structure are the two areas covered in this study. In effect, this article essentially assists construction businesses with building structures, and educational institutions employ human holograms for lecture purposes. This research also investigates how the advantages of holographic models compare to other fast-growing platforms both now and soon.

This paper introduces “SmogMaster: Your Smart Driving Companion, “ the Visual Editorial Quality Assurance, an intelligent Smart Driving Assistant System (SDAS) in areas with high foggy weather affected by heavy fog. This system is installed with a RP Lidar Al sensor, camera, and the Yolov8s model for real-time feedback. By using Lidar technology, the system identifies obstacles and objects in order to create some kind of a point of cloud, which helps to avoid collisions and accidents. The Yolov8s model is equipped with a camera to identify the objects/obstacles and to calculate the distance between preprocessors using real part identification barrier to prevent accidents. SmogM aster is specially designed to be installed/implemented in the areas which are heavily affected by fog to provide accurate and timely heavy smog warnings and thus making it safer to drivers. This paper includes the development, implementation, and testing of SmogMaster, demonstrating that it has an order of magnitude lower risk acceptance potential to low-visibility accidents. The results demonstrate that The range of systems the SmogMaster helps discriminate against drivers, raising the bar for intelligent driving systems in unfavorable weather.

Due to unexplored but desirable undersea resources, Underwater Sensor Network, is developing technology and becomes a catchword for modern scientists. Underwater Acoustic Sensor Networks, also known as UASN, are employed for a broad range of underwater utilizations such as reconnaissance by the military, mineral ore detection, oil reservoir management, aquatic environment exploration, imaging marine life, and early warnings to prevent a natural disaster. Almost every application is triggering to monitor important characteristics such as the salinity concerning different levels of depth, temperature profile, pollutants, etc. However, the study of aquatic channel characteristics is required before implementing the UASN for any of the applications. This research paper presents the underwater channel characteristics by varying the acoustic signal frequency, underwater depth levels, and separation between nodes. The simulated result is generated using MATLAB. The findings in the form of graphical representations are satisfactory and may be considered for future research in UASN. © 2023 IEEE.

Climate is rapidly changing around the world. Over time, there have been significant changes in the weather. Rainfall is now erratic due to climate change. The frequency of extreme weather events like droughts and floods has increased due to climate change, necessitating the need for more precise and timely rainfall forecasts. For strategic reasons including agriculture, water resource management, and architectural design, rain forecasting is crucial. The naturally occurring non-stationary component in the rainfall time series impairs model performance for practical hydrologists and drought risk assessors. We present a rain predicting model based on machine learning to address the forecasting issue. In our work, we predict the possibility of rain the next day on the basis of last 10 years' data. The variables that were calculated during the experiments were humidity, pressure, evaporation, sunshine, rainfall, and so on. Random Forest gave the 90% accuracy with 0.904 Area under Curve, highest out of all the algorithms. The model's performance will significantly aid in the rain forecast. © 2023 IEEE.

Networking industry has changed a lot in the past few years and as SDN being the new emerging technology of the future, security concerns have risen enormously. Control plane is separated from data plane in SDN providing the network administrators with more control by pushing application codes into the network also making it more vulnerable to attacks. DoS/DDoS are the most dominant attacks that a network of an organisation faces these days, because of the unsupervised network subscriptions and easily available attack tools/*** research aims to integrate the traditional open source IDS with software Defined Networks and test their capabilities against malicious traffic injected by an attacker. In this paper, we compared two open source IDS Snort and Suricata with SDN and then deliberately injected malicious traffic. We time stamped the DoS/DDoS attack in both scenarios to compare Snort and Suricata true positive and false negative rates. From the results obtained we concluded that used IDS were successfully integrated with a prototype emulated network on Mininet and OpenDaylight being the remote controller and after injecting attacks into the network, it was seen that performance of Snort exceeded than that of Suricata. We propose Snort being the better IDS suited for industry standard deployment. © 2023 IEEE.

Our research demonstrates a discrete speech system that empowers those afflicted with speech impairments to convey ideas by internally articulating words without producing audible sound. This method harnesses the minimal movements involved in articulation, making it less arduous than conventional vocalization, especially for individuals facing communication challenges. Silent Speech Interfaces (SSIs) form the foundation of our research, enabling the decoding of neuromuscular signals associated with internal speech articulation to facilitate non-invasive and effective communication for individuals with speech impairments. This research entails the utilization of a multi-electrode configuration to capture subtle, low-voltage electrical signals positioned on the surface area of the subject's neck. These signals emerge as a consequence of neural activation within the speech articulator muscles, signifying the internal articulation of words within the oral cavity, accompanied by minimal physical movement. Subsequent to signal acquisition, a comprehensive analysis of the data is conducted using a biosensing board (Cyton), facilitated by the implementation of the OpenBCI GUI interface and visualization via Python plotting tools. © 2025 IEEE.
