The research described the design and analysis of a bistable actuator for MEMS devices using a curved beam structure. The investigation revolves around the optimization of length, width, and apex height of the microstructure to deflect it to the actuated position. The mechanical behavior was validated using Finite Element Analysis using Ansys Multiphysics with a deviation of 1.94%. The result shows that the beam maintains its second stable state without continuous application of the force which significantly reduces the power consumption.

Intellectual capital acquired the Position of an asset in the fourth industrial revolution. An asset that would help companies to reach their targeted tier in the 'talent war' and help them maintain their bottom lines for significant setbacks. With the unforeseen consequences of Covid-19, this asset has become one benefit that needs to be retained. It implies that staying aware of the rapidly developing techniques for recruitment and implementing talented or skilled individual is one factor that assists companies in winning the talent war: the conversation objective, a potential employee to invest significant time and energy in a digitalized world. A better-performing e-recruitment application can bring employees to apply for the job. Thus, this paper sheds light on what upgrades and progressions are necessary for AI-based e-recruitment systems to draw and attain skilled individuals and help organizations achieve their target tier out in the corporate world.

The warehouse is often the starting point in a supply chain. Ineffectiveness at a warehouse can cascade into the rest of the supply chain, hurting the customers' experience with the business in the long run. Warehouse Optimization System (WOS) play a crucial role in resolving a significant market issue by optimizing warehouse space and logistical procedures, documenting merchant supply and demand patterns, and making it simpler to handle goods that are about to expire, are out of stock, are broken, or have been abandoned by customers. This issue relates to space and storage in the warehouse, due to the fact that business intelligence, which may include algorithms for anticipating sales and managing warehouse capacity, may be connected to warehouse optimization systems. A case study is described in research of a warehouse optimization system, followed by a demonstration of the problem of gaps within the racks of warehouses. The algorithm solves the problem of fitting boxes with varying dimensions into racks. By using automation and careful design, warehouse optimization increases the effectiveness of how time, space, and resources are used in a warehouse, which enhances customer satisfaction.

Fruit ripeness evaluation is essential for harvest optimization and post-harvest loss prevention. Traditional visual inspection is inefficient. This study employs sensor fusion and AI algorithms to evaluate fruit maturity in real-time using gas sensors (i.e., MQ-3, MQ-6, MQ-8, MQ-135) and Near-Infrared spectral sensors (i.e., GY-AS7263). Primarily, data pro-cessing-sensor fusion, data preparation, and AI model application-is crucial to the proposed framework. Subsequently, sensor fusion approaches improve data accuracy by combining signals from various sensors. Secondly, data pretreatment techniques including noise reduction, normalization, and feature extraction prepare data for analysis. Thirdly, we use powerful machine learning algorithms such as Random Forest to judge maturity more accurately and reliably than conventional techniques. Lastly, integrating NIR spectroscopy with gas sensor data resolves cost and model transferability issues, enhancing accuracy and acces-sibility for agricultural use. Static image processing techniques provide challenges for real-time applications, including expensive computer costs and lower reliability. The proposed framework based on multi-sensor fusion system enhances agricultural applications' versatility, scalability, and reactivity, surpassing existing methodologies. © 2024 IEEE.

To manage the personal daily life data storage on digital equipments and programs, Cyber security plays a vital role. Slowly and gradually, it is going to become a global issue of our society and related to this, it is also very important to have the awareness about it. On different levels there are many platforms that provide awareness about this, such as social media and telecommunication related media. But it is also very important to measure and analyze how many people, especially youth have the information regarding cyber security issues. This study highlighted those cyber security issues that should be known by the students at sir syed university of engineering and technology (SSUET). Also, this study measures and analyzes the current level of cybersecurity awareness (CSA) among the students of SSUET. A total of 256 students have participated in this analysis which is done by using the questionnaire. A total of 33 questions have been asked to each student to measure the cybersecurity students’ awareness level. The proposed study has been concluded with different findings which not only show how our youth is taking seriously about the issues which are related to cyber security. Also, what efforts should we take to increase the knowledge among the students. And what should be the role of our society to deal with these issues.

This paper proposes an adaptive learning control and monitoring of oxygen for patients with breathing complexities and respiratory diseases. By recording the oxygen saturation levels in real-time, this system uses an adaptive learning controller (ALC) to vary the oxygen delivered to the patient and maintain it in an optimum range. In the presented approach, the PID controller gain is tuned with the learning technique to provide improved response time and a proactive approach to oxygen control for the patient. A case study is performed by monitoring the time varying health vitals across different age groups to gain a better understanding of the relationship between these parameters for COVID-19 patients. This information is then used to improve the standard of care supplied to patients and reducing the time to recovery. Results show that ALC controlled the oxygen saturation within the target range of 90% to 94% SpO2, 77% and 80.1% of the time in patients aged 40 to 50-year-old and 50 to 60-year-old, respectively. It also had faster time to recovery to target SpO2 range when the concentration dropped rapidly or when the patient became hypoxic as compared to manual control of the oxygen saturation by the healthcare staff. The paper proposes an idea of an electric wheelchair which supports the body movement not only in locomotion but in standing position. Center of gravity is maintained by adjusting the whole body to the center of the base. Thus with the help of the Automatic Disability Chair (ADC) an individual can locomote by using joystick and stand by pressing buttons. A microcontroller (Arduino mega) is integrated with all inputs, motor drives actuators, that controls all operations of ADC. The wheelchair is supported with an external iron rod and suspension struts to reduce any hustle, additionally rechargeable batteries are employed in ADC. All the quantification and measurements were done before, based on this calculation, a scaled 3D prototype was first developed on AutoCAD and then it was implemented practically. © 2021 IEEE.

Due to unexplored but desirable undersea resources, Underwater Sensor Network, is developing technology and becomes a catchword for modern scientists. Underwater Acoustic Sensor Networks, also known as UASN, are employed for a broad range of underwater utilizations such as reconnaissance by the military, mineral ore detection, oil reservoir management, aquatic environment exploration, imaging marine life, and early warnings to prevent a natural disaster. Almost every application is triggering to monitor important characteristics such as the salinity concerning different levels of depth, temperature profile, pollutants, etc. However, the study of aquatic channel characteristics is required before implementing the UASN for any of the applications. This research paper presents the underwater channel characteristics by varying the acoustic signal frequency, underwater depth levels, and separation between nodes. The simulated result is generated using MATLAB. The findings in the form of graphical representations are satisfactory and may be considered for future research in UASN.

DC-DC Boost Converters are nowadays extensively used in the electrical and electronic industries. They boost-up the input side voltage while the current steps down from input to output. This simple circuit is the need of almost every electronic circuit, new generation Electric vehicles, medical equipment, textile industry, space systems, etc. But despite of all the merits and uses, it offers a destabilized output response with overshoot and steady-state error. To overcome this issue and to improve the transient and steady-state response of DC-DC Boost Converter, a PID controller has been designed which is not only improves the dynamic response of the converter but also increases the stability and efficiency of the system. To further implement the system according to the needs of new technology, PID controller has been designed digitally/discretely. A low-cost micro-controller board, Arduino NANO is used for controlling while MATLAB-Simulink is used to tune the parameters of PID controller. © 2021 IEEE.
