In both wired and wireless communication networks, the transfer of huge data was the major issue. To solve this issue, we are in the process of working with both admission control and control transfer mechanisms such that to transfer huge amount of data in the current networks without disturbing the regular flow of data in the networks. A scheduling algorithm was also in the process to achieve this goal of transfer of substance amount of data from source to desti nation securely. In the current system, for every transfer of bulk amounts, a request needs to be sent to the central processing control for the request of blocking of some bandwidth by giving the starting and ending time for the transfer of data. As the time slot is given, then we can transfer any amount of data within that slot of time. The reassignment of bandwidth and the multiple routing configurations are present and utilized in the system. As per the results, the working of the system is excellent in the performance, and good encouraging results were obtained from the system. © 2023, The Author(s), under exclusive license to Springer Nature Singapore Pte Ltd.

Detecting crime intent from user-generated content on social media platforms has become increasingly important for law enforcement and crime prevention. This paper presents a comprehensive approach for crime intent detection from user tweets using machine learning techniques. The study utilizes a dataset of about 400,000 tweets and applies data preprocessing, feature selection, and model training with logistic regression, ridge regression classifier, Stochastic Gradient Descent (SGD) classifier, Random Forests, and support vector machine models. Evaluation metrics such as accuracy, precision, recall, and F1 score are employed to assess the models’ performance. The results reveal that the logistic regression model achieves the highest accuracy ratio of 0.981 in detecting crime intent from tweets. This research showcases the effectiveness of machine learning and advanced transformer-based models in leveraging social media data for crime analysis. The findings provide valuable insights into the potential for early detection and monitoring of crime intent using online platforms, contributing to the field of crime prevention and law enforcement. The utilization of machine learning techniques offers new avenues for understanding and analyzing crime-related sentiments expressed by social media users. By accurately detecting crime intent from user-generated content, law enforcement agencies can enhance their proactive measures, monitor public sentiment towards crime, and shape policies and interventions to address public concerns effectively. This study aims at designing Map Reduce and federated learning-based asthma prediction model for adolescent to provide answers to the problems associated with the existing asthma prediction model for adolescent. This study leveraged on two diverse datasets: the Nigerian Hospital Asthma dataset and the National Survey of Children Health dataset for benchmarking purposes. Symmetrical uncertainty and normalization interaction were employed for feature selection. The model was trained using Federated Artificial Intelligence (AI) Technology Enabler (FATE) and complemented with XGBoost model and one central server for federated algorithm averaging. The study was implemented with python programming language on Google Collaboratory environment. The results of the analysis showed considerable high accuracy of 0.98, precision (0.98%), recall (0.98%) and F1-socre (0.99%) for the asthmatic class and precision of 0.98%, recall of 0.98%, as well as F1-score of 0.99% for the non-asthmatic class. The implemented model was benchmark with the existing asthma prediction models in the literature. Simulated attack was also performed using implemented model with and without Map Reduce. This study concludes that the researchers' model has the potentials to outperform some of the existing machine learning models on asthma prediction in adolescent, thereby facilitating collaborative sharing of the model with other hospitals, protect the patient information from leakage, meeting the criteria of healthcare data protection regulation as well as beneficial for enhancing the security of the dataset. © 2024 IEEE.

Malaria is one of the most serious and threatening diseases in Sub-Saharan Africa. Its cases increase drastically during the rainy season. It can spread throughout an infected person's entire body in less than an hour. The diagnosis process is time-consuming, and its accuracy is negatively affected due to the lack of technical tools and infrastructure in many laboratories in malaria-prone countries. Hospitals, however, keep patient data during the diagnosis period. Due to the vast amount of diagnostic data gathered and stored on a daily basis in various mediums such as files, it has become increasingly crucial to develop powerful techniques for analysing and interpreting the data. This analysis aims to extract meaningful knowledge and insights that can significantly contribute to malaria diagnosis and decision-making processes. This paper selected four frequency-based algorithms, namely Naïve Bayes, (J48) Decision Tree, ZeroR, and the OneR algorithm, to develop a hybrid model for frequency-based classification algorithms using the available dataset of malaria diagnoses collected from the Federal Medical Centre in Yola, Adamawa state. The research results indicate that the highest accuracy, 88.4%, was achieved by the (J48) Decision Tree model. Additionally, this research employed ensemble methods to enhance the performance of each classification model. The results demonstrated that the accuracy of the Decision Tree and ZeroR models remained the same at 88.4% and 60.9% before and after boosting, respectively. In contrast, the accuracy of the Naïve Bayes and OneR models increased from 79.9% to 87.0% and from 79.8% to 87.6% before and after boosting, respectively. In conclusion, among the frequency-based classification models, the Decision Tree model consistently exhibited the highest accuracy both before and after boosting. © 2023 IEEE.

In dynamic meteorological prediction, accurate rainfall forecasting is a mystery. In a complex and dynamic natural environment with unpredictable sky movements, we propose an innovative methodology that forecasts weekly average rainfall patterns using the Gooseneck Barnacle Optimizer and the Least Squares Support Vector Machine (LSSVM). The significance of rainfall prediction is shown by its widespread implications, including public health. However, conventional single-model techniques and machine-learning methods must represent rainfall pattern changes, limiting our preparation. With a 2014-2018 dataset from reliable meteorological libraries, our research explores the possibility of this novel combination. The Gooseneck Barnacle Optimizer (GBO) serves as the bedrock of our methodology, introducing a novel evolutionary algorithm inspired by the intricate mating behaviors of gooseneck barnacles. GBO aptly captures the dynamic interplay of factors such as navigational sperm casting properties, food availability, food attractiveness, wind direction, and intertidal zone wave movement during mating, culminating in two crucial optimization stages: exploration and exploitation. In contrast to previous algorithms like the Barnacle Mating Optimizer (BMO), GBO stands out by more accurately emulating the unique mating behaviors of gooseneck barnacles. The prediction job is performed by integrating the Least Squares Support Vector Machines (LSSVM) algorithm with GBO as an objective function, using the optimized hyper-parameter values. The results suggest that the GBO algorithm exhibits superior performance compared to existing methodologies. This is accomplished by efficiently augmenting the original random population for a particular problem, resulting in a convergence towards the global optimum and producing significantly enhanced optimization outcomes. © 2023 IEEE.

Vehicular ad hoc networks(VANETs)provide intelligent navigation and efficient route management,resulting in time savings and cost reductions in the transportation ***,the exchange of beacons and messages over public channels among vehicles and roadside units renders these networks vulnerable to numerous attacks and privacy *** address these challenges,several privacy and security preservation protocols based on blockchain and public key cryptography have been proposed ***,most of these schemes are limited by a long execution time and massive communication costs,which make them inefficient for on-board units(OBUs).Additionally,some of them are still susceptible to many *** such,this study presents a novel protocol based on the fusion of elliptic curve cryptography(ECC)and bilinear pairing(BP)*** formal security analysis is accomplished using the Burrows–Abadi–Needham(BAN)logic,demonstrating that our scheme is verifiably *** proposed scheme’s informal security assessment also shows that it provides salient security features,such as non-repudiation,anonymity,and ***,the scheme is shown to be resilient against attacks,such as packet replays,forgeries,message falsifications,and *** the performance perspective,this protocol yields a 37.88%reduction in communication overheads and a 44.44%improvement in the supported security ***,the proposed scheme can be deployed in VANETs to provide robust security at low overheads.

Web-blogging sites such as Twitter and Facebook are heavily influenced by emotions,sentiments,and data in the modern ***,a widely used microblogging site where individuals share their thoughts in the form of tweets,has become a major source for sentiment *** recent years,there has been a significant increase in demand for sentiment analysis to identify and classify opinions or expressions in text or *** or expressions of people about a particular topic,situation,person,or product can be identified from sentences and divided into three categories:positive for good,negative for bad,and neutral for mixed or confusing *** process of analyzing changes in sentiment and the combination of these categories is known as“sentiment analysis.”In this study,sentiment analysis was performed on a dataset of 90,000 tweets using both deep learning and machine learning *** deep learning-based model long-short-term memory(LSTM)performed better than machine learning *** short-term memory achieved 87%accuracy,and the support vector machine(SVM)classifier achieved slightly worse results than LSTM at 86%.The study also tested binary classes of positive and negative,where LSTM and SVM both achieved 90%accuracy.

software piracy and intellectual property theft has brought about a financial decrease in revenue for the producers of software systems. Moreso, malicious end-users act as Man-At-The-End (MATE) attackers and dangerously inspect software codes either statically or dynamically to steal them. Developers need to create client applications that contain confidential information and data. As a result, large scale software firms constantly strive to secure hidden algorithms and vital programming components contained in their applications in order to have competitive advantage. The focus of this study is to design a code obfuscation scheme for software and intellectual property protection. The methodology employed includes use of programming tool and algorithms that described the key processes of the scheme. To demonstrate the strength and capability of our approach, user evaluation was conducted to arrive at the cost, potency and resilience of the scheme. Results indicate that majority of the respondents believe that the developed obfuscator is inexpensive and that it does not adversely affect memory and execution time. The current study would provide software developers the tool to obscure their intellectual property against theft. © 2024 IEEE.

Polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS), a common endocrine-metabolic disorder affecting about 10-13% of women during reproductive age worldwide, often leads to irregular menstruation, infertility, obesity, and long-term health risks such as diabetes and cardiovascular disease. In this paper, clinical data from PCOS patients and healthy control group were collected from ten hospitals containing 37 key indicators such as age, weight, BMI, menstrual cycle, etc. BP (Back Propagation) Neural Network prediction models were constructed and compared using the collected data and the cross-validation method was used for parameter tuning. It was found that BP Neural Network performed particularly well on the test set, and both demonstrated high prediction accuracy and generalization ability which provided strong evidence for the early identification and early valuable intervention opportunities for PCOS patients. © 2025 IEEE.
