Requirements Elicitation is the process of identifying system needs by talking with stakeholders who have a direct or indirect effect on the requirements. Requirements may be derived from several sources and are one of the most important phases of requirement engineering. We need to perform different elicitation techniques to find out the user's needs. Pre-requirements tracing is the process of determining the origins of a specific demand. Typically, certain needs arise that have no apparent source, but stakeholders will testify to their importance. Such criteria, however, are most likely dependent on tacit or tacit-like information entrenched in the issue domain. Tacit knowledge is one of the most common challenges for requirement analysts. This study contributes to constructing a systematic literature review for exploring multiple ways to model functional requirements using tacit knowledge. We have identified and analyzed 10 studies. In these research papers, different authors have discussed different methods to gather functional requirements from tacit knowledge. © 2023 IEEE.

Thyroid disorders represent a significant global health challenge with hypothyroidism and hyperthyroidism as two common conditions arising from dysfunction in the thyroid *** and timely diagnosis of these disorders is crucial for effective treatment and patient *** research introduces a comprehensive approach to improve the accuracy of thyroid disorder diagnosis through the integration of ensemble stacking and advanced feature selection *** forward feature selection,sequential backward feature elimination,and bidirectional feature elimination are investigated in this *** ensemble learning,random forest,adaptive boosting,and bagging classifiers are *** effectiveness of these techniques is evaluated using two different datasets obtained from the University of California Irvine-Machine Learning Repository,both of which undergo preprocessing steps,including outlier removal,addressing missing data,data cleansing,and feature *** experimentation demonstrates the remarkable success of proposed ensemble stacking and bidirectional feature elimination achieving 100%and 99.86%accuracy in identifying hyperthyroidism and hypothyroidism,*** enhancing detection accuracy,the ensemble stacking model also demonstrated a streamlined computational complexity which is pivotal for practical medical *** significantly outperformed existing studies with similar objectives underscoring the viability and effectiveness of the proposed *** research offers an innovative perspective and sets the platform for improved thyroid disorder diagnosis with broader implications for healthcare and patient well-being.

Deep Semantic and Attentive Network for Unsupervised Video Summarization

With the rapid growth of video data, video summarization is a promising approach to shorten a lengthy video into a compact version. Although supervised summarization approaches have achieved state-of-the-art performance, they require frame-level annotated labels. Such an annotation process is time-consuming and tedious. In this article, we propose a novel deep summarization framework named Deep Semantic and Attentive Network for Video Summarization (DSAVS) that can select the most semantically representative summary by minimizing the distance between video representation and text representation without any frame-level labels. Another challenge associated with video summarization tasks mainly originates from the difficulty of considering temporal information over a long time. Long Short-Term Memory (LSTM) performs well for temporal dependencies modeling but does not work well with long video clips. Therefore, we introduce a self-attention mechanism into our summarization framework to capture the long-range temporal dependencies among the frames. Extensive experiments on two popular benchmark datasets, i.e., SumMe and TVSum, show that our proposed framework outperforms other state-of-the-art unsupervised approaches and even most supervised methods. © 2022 Association for Computing Machinery.

The sizes of regions of interest (ROI) obtained from images captured by cameras in palmprint recognition may vary depending on the camera specifications and the position of the hand. The regions of interest that recognition systems can use are typically rescaled through interpolation techniques and then defined as inputs to the system. In such cases, there may be some loss of biometric data. This study aims to enhance the quality of the palmprint ROI images, which are critical for palmprint recognition systems. To achieve this, various super-resolution techniques were employed to reconstruct low-resolution ROI images to the target sizes while preserving the distinctiveness of their biometric features. This approach is designed to optimize recognition accuracy and improve data reliability in palmprint recognition processes. © 2024 IEEE.

Several digital dangers were investigated. Malware dominated analysis with 45 attacks. We found 30 phishing attacks. 22 data breaches, 15 cyber espionage, 18 identity theft. This indicates the kind and frequency of harassment digital forensic specialists endure. Digital evidence was crucial to the case. 65 pieces of evidence were collected on computers. 42 incidents showed smartphones and tablets' digital investigative potential. There were 55 examples of communication patterns requiring network logs. In 28 and 12, cloud services and removable media provided proof. A wide range of evidence sources stresses the need for extensive collecting. Digital forensics were essential to the inquiry. In 70% of cases, disk imaging software created forensic copies of metadata-and timestamp-containing storage media. Network packet analyzers examined 48 traffic logs and communication patterns. To analyze volatile memory, 35 cases used memory forensics. In 25 cases, malware analysis platforms decrypted malware. In 60 situations, file recovery software recovered lost or hidden files. Digital forensic specialists' diverse arsenal for thorough investigations is shown here. Legal and ethical considerations dominated the study. The law was important, and all inquiries followed norms. A strong chain of custody protects evidence integrity and admissibility. The data privacy rules were respected. Legal evidence is admissible in court. Ethics ensured objective investigations. This underlines digital forensic investigations' legal and ethical foundation. © 2024 IEEE.

With technological improvements in the restaurant industry, competition is fierce, and a restaurant's success depends on providing excellent and luxury customer satisfaction. The food industry has had to continuously advance with technology in order to adequately satisfy the wants of people leading increasingly luxurious lives. While some restaurants still rely on manpower, the majority are eager to advance with technology in order to improve the standard of their offerings and enhance their customers' experiences. In order to optimize customer satisfaction and experience, this research project intends to investigate the potential of intelligence in the restaurant business. This research has explored intelligent systems such as digital self-service menus for ordering food, augmented reality (AR) visualization systems for customers, the observation of chefs in the kitchen, and the usage of robots to serve meals. This research paper analyzes the advantages of automating restaurant operations and how to do so to enhance customer satisfaction. Overall, this study has the potential to transform the restaurant industry and increase customer satisfaction. © 2023 IEEE.

One of the challenging problems with evolutionary computing algorithms is to maintain the balance between exploration and exploitation capability in order to search global optima.A novel convergence track based adaptive differential evolution(CTbADE)algorithm is presented in this research *** crossover rate and mutation probability parameters in a differential evolution algorithm have a significant role in searching global optima.A more diverse population improves the global searching capability and helps to escape from the local optima *** the convergence path over time helps enhance the searching speed of a differential evolution algorithm for varying *** adaptive powerful parameter-controlled sequences utilized learning period-based memory and following convergence track over time are introduced in this *** proposed algorithm will be helpful in maintaining the equilibrium between an algorithm’s exploration and exploitation capability.A comprehensive test suite of standard benchmark problems with different natures,i.e.,unimodal/multimodal and separable/non-separable,was used to test the convergence power of the proposed CTbADE *** results show the significant performance of the CTbADE algorithm in terms of average fitness,solution quality,and convergence speed when compared with standard differential evolution algorithms and a few other commonly used state-of-the-art algorithms,such as jDE,CoDE,and EPSDE *** algorithm will prove to be a significant addition to the literature in order to solve real time problems and to optimize computationalmodels with a high number of parameters to adjust during the problem-solving process.

Understanding human personality traits is significant as it helps in decision making related to consumers’ behavior, career counselling, team building and top candidates’ selection for recruitment. Among various traits, openness is essential as it shows both diverse aspects of sensitive nature or intuitive nature. The individuals having a sensing nature tends to be more practical and prefer to focus on concrete information whereas the users having intuitive trait type is characterized by a focus on abstract ideas, creative thinking and future-oriented perspectives. In this research work, we aim to explore diverse natural language processing (NLP) based features and apply state of the art deep learning algorithms for openness trait prediction. Using standard Myers-Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI) dataset, we propose the use of the latest deep features of sentence embeddings which captures contextual semantics of the content to be used with deep learning models. For comparison, we explore textual features of Frequency-Inverse Document (TF-IDF) and parts of speech (POS) tagging with machine learning models and deep features of word2vec and global vectors for word representation (GloVe) with deep learning models. The comprehensive empirical analysis reveals that TF-IDF used with gradient boosting achieves high accuracy of 90% whereas, the deep feature of sentence embeddings when used and with deep model bidirectional long short-term memory (Bi-LSTM) achieves 90.5% accuracy. The best results have been achieved using the latest Transformer-based DistilBERT, which achieves the highest accuracy of 92% outperforming the existing studies in relevant literature. Human emotions, psychology, and social well-being are all parts of mental health. It has an impact on how people feel, think, and act. It aids in figuring out how individuals act under pressure, interact with each other, and arrive at decisions. Every period of life, from childhood and adolescence to maturity, is vital for mental health. There are several elements that affect mental health issues, such as experiences with trauma or abuse in life, work-life stress, relationship difficulties, etc. Help is available for many of the mental health issues that are identified within a person. The proposed solution is implementing a friendly chatbot that is capable of capturing human emotional states (happy, angry, sad, etc.) and mental health states (depression, anxiety, stress, etc.) using human computer interaction and health record management. The proposed solution has been developed by considering both regular users and mental health practitioners. The user can communicate with the proposed assistant using text or voice to identify their emotions and mental health based on keywords, particular characteristics of voice and facial recognition used during the conversation. Once the mental health and emotion statuses are analyzed the electronic health records will be readily available on the blockchain as blockchain tokens, this could be shared with the practitioners securely. © 2023 IEEE.
