Intelligent Spatial Anomaly Activity Recognition Method Based on Ontology Matching

This research addresses the performance challenges of ontology-based context-aware and activity recognition techniques in complex environments and abnormal activities, and proposes an optimized ontology framework to improve recognition accuracy and computational efficiency. The method in this paper adopts the event sequence segmentation technique, combines location awareness with time interval reasoning, and improves human activity recognition through ontology reasoning. Compared with the existing methods, the framework performs better when dealing with uncertain data and complex scenes, and the experimental results show that its recognition accuracy is improved by 15.6% and processing time is reduced by 22.4%. In addition, it is found that with the increase of context complexity, the traditional ontology inference model has limitations in abnormal behavior recognition, especially in the case of high data redundancy, which tends to lead to a decrease in recognition accuracy. This study effectively mitigates this problem by optimizing the ontology matching algorithm and combining parallel computing and deep learning techniques to enhance the activity recognition capability in complex environments.

Regarding computer security, the growth of code vulnerability types presents a persistent challenge. These vulnerabilities, which may cause severe consequences, necessitate precise classification for effective mitigation. However, the rapid emergence of new vulnerability types complicates the classification process. Traditional methodologies, which often involve human expertise and the manual labeling or generation of example instances, are not only resource-intensive but also struggle to adapt to the dynamic nature of these vulnerabilities. This paper introduces VulnSense, an innovative method that harnesses the capabilities of Generalized Zero-Shot Learning (GZSL) to address the vulnerability classification problem. VulnSense learns about unseen vulnerability classes from the descriptions of these unseen classes, while not requiring to see any instances of these unseen classes. Specifically, VulnSense learns from three main resources: (1) seen classes with labeled code instances;(2) descriptions of these seen classes;and (3) descriptions of "unseen"classes which have no labeled instances. Our experiments underscore VulnSense's superiority over existing GZSL methods in classifying instances of unseen classes. Concurrently, it maintains a performance parity with traditional labeled-example based learning methods in classifying instances of seen vulnerabilities. VulnSense demonstrates the potential of using GZSL for vulnerability classification, while also highlighting challenges that inspire future work. © 2004-2012 IEEE.

In dynamic datasets, both entries and their possible values frequently change. This makes it difficult to update the necessary calculations for analysis. The Dominance-based Rough Set Approach (DRSA) effectively analyzes preference-based data. Still, it can be slow because it requires recalculating important values each time the data are updated. This study proposes an optimized K-dimensional (K-D) tree algorithm that integrates dynamic weighting and lazy recalculations to reduce computational cost. The K-D tree effectively organizes data, dynamic weighting prioritizes recalculations for essential nodes, and lazy recalculation postpones unnecessary computation. The proposed approach significantly reduces the execution time and memory consumption while maintaining accuracy. An ablation study was conducted to separately evaluate the impact of each component. This demonstrates the efficiency improvement achieved using the proposed approach. Compared to conventional DRSA, our optimized method reduced computational time and memory usage by 99 % across ten publicly available University of California, Irvine (UCI) datasets, which provided an efficient and scalable solution for real-time data processing in dynamic environments. © 2025 The Authors

Accurate segmentation of polyps from colonoscopy images is of great significance for the prevention of colorectal cancer. Despite notable progress, polyp segmentation remains a challenging task due to the diversity of polyp size and shape, as well as the camouflage property of polyps caused by their high similarity to surrounding tissues. To address these challenges, inspired by human perceptual experience in finding objects, we propose a multi-perspective collaborative network (MPCNet), innovatively identifying the potential polyps from the perspectives of matching views and seeking camouflage. Firstly, from the former perspective, a global–local aware module is proposed to provide various feature receptive fields to match suitable views for polyps of different sizes and shapes. Then, from the latter perspective, a texture enhancement module (TEM) and an interaction refinement module (IRM) are proposed to mine and complement clues essential for breaking the camouflage. Specifically, TEM mines texture-related clues and amplifies the subtle texture differences between polyps and their background, while IRM complements boundary clues and further optimizes feature representation through the interaction between boundaries and regions, thereby generating accurate segmentation results with complete regions and fine boundaries. Extensive experiments on five benchmark polyp datasets show that our MPCNet outperforms other state-of-the-art methods. In particular, we achieve a mean Dice of 81.7% and 82.4% on the most challenging datasets CVC-ColonDB and ETIS, respectively, which are significantly higher than competing methods. © The Author(s), under exclusive licence to Springer-Verlag GmbH Germany, part of Springer Nature 2025.

The immune and enteric systems have been implicated in psychopathology, including depressive disorders. However, the precise neurocognitive mechanisms remain unclear. The present study uses Brain-Inspired Spiking Neural Network (SNN) technique to model electroencephalographic (EEG) data as a function of gut-microbiota, inflammation, and depressive symptoms. Forty-two participants (nonclinical cohort) were assessed for Bacteroides-Prevotella (BAC) colonization in faecal samples, Interleukin 6 (IL-6) in peripheral blood, depressive symptoms (self-report of cognitive and non-cognitive symptoms) and brain function (resting state EEG). SNN models were applied to EEG data to generate connection weight values across scalp regions. Connection weights were visualized as a function of 1) depression;2) inflammation;3) gut microbiome. Lower depression and higher BAC were associated with higher frontal connection weights (cognitive depression = bilateral, non-cognitive and BAC = left hemisphere only). Lower cognitive depression and lower IL-6 were associated with higher posterior connection weights. The SNN models achieved higher accuracy for theta and alpha EEG sub-bands, highlighting their relevance in differentiating between groups. These findings emphasize the potential of SNNs in predicting parameters from brain functional connectivity data and developing targeted diagnostic and intervention strategies. © The Author(s), under exclusive license to Springer Nature Singapore Pte Ltd. 2025.

The low-altitude economy (LAE), driven by unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) and other aircraft, has revolutionized fields such as transportation, agriculture, and environmental monitoring. In the upcoming six-generation (6G) era, UAV-assisted mobile edge computing (MEC) is particularly crucial in challenging environments such as mountainous or disaster-stricken areas. The computation task offloading problem is one of the key issues in UAV-assisted MEC, primarily addressing the trade-off between minimizing the task delay and the energy consumption of the UAV. In this paper, we consider a UAV-assisted MEC system where the UAV carries the edge servers to facilitate task offloading for ground devices (GDs), and formulate a calculation delay and energy consumption multi-objective optimization problem (CDECMOP) to simultaneously improve the performance and reduce the cost of the system. Then, by modeling the formulated problem as a multi-objective Markov decision process (MOMDP), we propose a multi-objective deep reinforcement learning (DRL) algorithm within an evolutionary framework to dynamically adjust the weights and obtain non-dominated policies. Moreover, to ensure stable convergence and improve performance, we incorporate a target distribution learning (TDL) algorithm. Simulation results demonstrate that the proposed algorithm can better balance multiple optimization objectives and obtain superior non-dominated solutions compared to other methods. Low Earth Orbit (LEO) satellites can be used to assist maritime wireless communications for data transmission across wide-ranging areas. However, extensive coverage of LEO satellites, combined with openness of channels, can cause the communication process to suffer from security risks. This paper presents a low-altitude friendly-jamming LEO satellite-maritime communication system enabled by a unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) to ensure data security at the physical layer. Since such a system requires trade-off policies that balance the secrecy rate and energy consumption of the UAV to meet evolving scenario demands, we formulate a secure satellite-maritime communication multi-objective optimization problem (SSMCMOP). In order to solve the dynamic and long-term optimization problem, we reformulate it into a Markov decision process. We then propose a transformer-enhanced soft actor critic (TransSAC) algorithm, which is a generative artificial intelligence-enable deep reinforcement learning approach to solve the reformulated problem, so that capturing global dependencies and diversely exploring weights. Simulation results demonstrate that the TransSAC outperforms various baselines, and achieves an optimal secrecy rate while effectively minimizing the energy consumption of the UAV. Feature-Oriented Nonfunctional Requirement Analysis for software Product Line

Domain analysis in software product line （SPL） development provides a basis for core assets design and imple- mentation by a systematic and comprehensive commonality/variability analysis. In feature-oriented SPL methods, products of the domain analysis are domain feature models and corresponding feature decision models to facilitate application-oriented customization. As in requirement analysis for a single system, the domain analysis in the SPL development should con- sider both flmctional and nonfunctional domain requirements. However, the nonfunctional requirements （NFRs） are often neglected in the existing domain analysis methods. In this paper, we propose a context-based method of the NFR analysis for the SPL development. In the method, NFRs are materialized by connecting nonfunctional goals with real-world context, thus NFR elicitation and variability analysis can be performed by context analysis for the whole domain with the assistance of NFR templates and NFR graphs. After the variability analysis, our method integrates both functional and nonfunc- tional perspectives by incorporating the nonfunctional goals and operationalizations into an initial functional feature model. NFR-related constraints are also elicited and integrated. Finally, a decision model with both functional and nonfunctional perspectives is constructed to facilitate application-oriented feature model customization. A computer-aided grading system （CAGS） product line is employed to demonstrate the method throughout the paper.

Synthesis of pragmatic systems from high-level specifications requires representation and application of both functional requirements and constraints. This work presents a language for representing requirements and constraints in VHDL design representations and a prototype care-based synthesis system. VSPEC is an annotation language for VHDL developed to support axiomatic representation of requirements for system synthesis. VSPEC descriptions serve as synthesis goals and verification criteria. A prototype case-based synthesis system is also presented that uses VSPEC requirements as goal statements and descriptions of potential solutions. This prototype system demonstrates how synthesis can be performed at the systems level and how constraints can be used to implement a simple concurrent engineering process.

Integrating Ontology-Based Approaches with Deep Learning Models for Fine-Grained Sentiment Analysis
