Education is very important for everyone in order to provide intelligence and build a good soul in themselves. Indonesia has a high dropout rate. This is because the education level of the Indonesian people is still in the low category. So the government runs a Smart Indonesia Program (PIP) to help improve the quality of education. As in SMAN 1 Tualang. This research classifies prospective PIP recipients using Feature Selection Chi Square and Information Gain with SVM and Random Forest Algorithms. There are 1112 students with 26 selection attributes. This study concluded that the Random Forest algorithm with Feature Selection is better than the SVM algorithm with the highest accuracy value of 99%, while the SVM algorithm has the highest accuracy value of 98%. Feature selection that has a big influence in determining accuracy is Information Gain. © 2024 IEEE.

Predicting the human visual attention in an image is called saliency prediction, and is an active research area in the field of neuroscience and computer vision. Early works on saliency prediction was performed by using low-level features. In recent years, convolutional neural networks (CNN) have been adapted for saliency prediction and achieved the state-of-the-art performance. However, the eye-gaze depends on the personality of each viewer (1) and conventional methods did not take into account such individual properties of the viewer. Therefore, this paper proposes a novel saliency prediction method considering the influence of eye-gaze. Assuming that personality can be expressed as the degree of attention to an object, our proposed method considers the personality by learning which objects are likely to be perceived by each viewer, and weighting the universal saliency map with the generated mask based on the object detection results. The experimental results show that the proposed universal saliency map achieves higher accuracy than conventional methods on the public dataset, and the proposed weighted saliency map can reflect the variation of the eye-gaze influences among viewers. c 2021 The Institute of Electrical Engineers of Japan.

This paper proposes the use of adaptive algorithms for real-time data analysis. Adaptive algorithms are a set of practical methods used for acting information-driven optimization and studying. They have a wide variety of applications and may be implemented to a selection of facts analysis obligations. This paper offers an overview of existing adaptive algorithms and descriptions of several new programs in the area of actual-time facts analysis. In particular, the paper discusses the notion of adaptive thresholding, which allows for practical real-time evaluation of large datasets. The paper also provides a novel technique for making use of these algorithms in an online learning environment. Results from simulations illustrate the ability of the proposed method in real-international packages. Sooner or later, the paper presents numerous key lessons discovered and affords recommendations for future research and packages in this area. © 2024 IEEE.

The realization of hybrid optics could be one of the best ways to fulfll the technological requirements of compact,light-weight,and multi-functional optical systems for modern *** diffractive lens(PDL)such as diffractive lenses,photonsieves,and metasurfaces can be patterned on ultra-thin flexible and stretchable substrates and be conformally attached on top of arbitrarily shaped *** this review,we introduce recent research works addressed to the design and manufacturing of ultra-thin graphene optics,which will open new markets in compact and light-weight optics for next-generation endoscopic brain imaging,space internet,real-time surface proflometry,and multi-functional mobile *** provide higher design flexibility,lower process complexity,and chemical-free process with reasonable investment cost,direct laser writing(DLW)of laser-induced-graphene(LIG)is actively being applied to the patterning of *** realizing the best optical performances in DLW,photon-material interactions have been studied in detail with respect to different laser parameters;the resulting optical characteristics have been evaluated in terms of amplitude and phase.A series of exemplary laser-written 1D and 2D PDL structures have been actively demonstrated with different base materials,and then,the cases are being expanded to plasmonic and holographic *** combination of these ultra-thin and light-weight PDL with conventional bulk refractive or reflective optical elements could bring together the advantages of each optical *** integrating these suggestions,we suggest a way to realize the hybrid PDL to be used in the future micro-electronics surface inspection,biomedical,outer space,and extended reality(XR)industries.

Last-mile delivery costs are increasingly growing due to the rapid growth in E-commerce and the proliferation of online shopping especially after COVID-19 crisis. Integrating shared location delivery systems with home delivery has been a new trend in tackling last mile delivery challenges. This paper studies the Capacitated Vehicle Routing Problem with Delivery Options (CVRPDO). In this problem, customers can choose between picking up their requests from a shared location or receiving them at their homes within a preferred time window. The problem is formulated mathematically to minimize the total delivery costs considering the customers' preferences. Results include comparisons between delivery costs in the standard Capacitated Vehicle Routing Problem (CVRP) and those in the CVRPDO. Results demonstrate that the CVRPDO outperforms the CVRP by a considerable margin for varied-size instances providing a justification for substantial investment in establishing shared locations for delivery. © 2023 The authors and IOS Press.

Column-to-beam connections are important to evaluate the seismic performance of traditional wooden buildings accurately. However, there are many types of traditional joints. Some of them have not been studied for evaluating their seismic performance, such that almost no experimental data and no evaluation methods are available. This study aims to evaluate the tensile performance of column-to-beam connections with Sao-shachi joint based on the full-scale tests. It is shown that the evaluation formula for the column-to-beam connections with Yatoi-saoshachi joint in the past is applicable to evaluate the tensile performance of these connections. © 2023 Architectural Institute of Japan. Due to the rising cases of Covid-19 in the world especially in Malaysia, the impact had been hit hard for many people. Due to this all people must be isolated in their home. It has affected the well-being and working life of millions of people across the world. Due to this disease, the mental health among people has increased significantly for the past 2 years. According to MoH, out of 983 Malaysian students, about 20.4%, 6.6%, and 2.8% are experienced minimal to moderate, marked to severe, and most extreme levels of anxiety, respectively. The main stressors are the remote online teaching, and uncertainty about the future regarding study and career which can affect mental health. Thus, the main objective of this project is to develop a product that may provide different medication methods to its users by helping people who suffer anxiety, stress, and depression. We used aromatherapy, positive quotes, and music therapy in order to release stress. The user can also check his or her pulse rate by only touching the fingerprint through the sensor. The microcontrollers used in this project are Arduino Uno and Arduino Mega to build the project circuit. The experimental results can improve body health, mind and spirit which enhances both physical and emotional health. © 2024 IEEE.

This paper presents a large gathering dataset of images extracted from publicly filmed videos by 24 cameras installed on the premises of Masjid Al-Nabvi,Madinah,Saudi *** dataset consists of raw and processed images reflecting a highly challenging and unconstraint *** methodology for building the dataset consists of four core phases;that include acquisition of videos,extraction of frames,localization of face regions,and cropping and resizing of detected face *** raw images in the dataset consist of a total of 4613 frames obtained fromvideo *** processed images in the dataset consist of the face regions of 250 persons extracted from raw data images to ensure the authenticity of the presented *** dataset further consists of 8 images corresponding to each of the 250 subjects(persons)for a total of 2000 *** portrays a highly unconstrained and challenging environment with human faces of varying sizes and pixel quality(resolution).Since the face regions in video sequences are severely degraded due to various unavoidable factors,it can be used as a benchmark to test and evaluate face detection and recognition algorithms for research *** have also gathered and displayed records of the presence of subjects who appear in presented frames;in a temporal *** can also be used as a temporal benchmark for tracking,finding persons,activity monitoring,and crowd counting in large crowd scenarios.

Implants made of magnesium(Mg)are increasingly employed in patients to achieve osteosynthesis while degrading in *** Mg implants and Mg^(2+)have been suggested to possess anti-inflammatory properties,the clinically observed soft tissue inflammation around Mg implants is ***,using a rat soft tissue model and a 1-28 d observation period,we determined the temporo-spatial cell distribution and behavior in relation to sequential changes of pure Mg implant surface properties and Mg^(2+)*** to nondegradable titanium(Ti)implants,Mg degradation exacerbated initial *** of Mg degradation products at the tissue-implant interface,culminating at 3 d,actively initiated chemotaxis and upregulated mRNA and protein immunomodulatory markers,particularly inducible nitric oxide synthase and toll-like receptor-4 up to 6 d,yet without a cytotoxic *** vascularization was demonstrated morphologically,preceded by high expression of vascular endothelial growth *** transition to appropriate tissue repair coincided with implant surface enrichment of Ca and P and reduced peri-implant Mg^(2+)*** implants revealed a thinner fibrous encapsulation compared with *** detailed understanding of the relationship between Mg material properties and the spatial and time-resolved cellular processes provides a basis for the interpretation of clinical observations and future tailoring of Mg implants.

The increasing number of road accidents involving Vulnerable Road Users (VRUs) highlights the urgent need for innovative safety solutions. This study proposes a novel approach that leverages IoT and Convolutional Neural Network (CNN) technologies to enhance VRU safety. By deploying IoT sensors on vehicles and infrastructure, the proposed model can accurately track VRU locations and environmental conditions in real-time. A CNN-based model is developed to robustly detect and classify VRUs under various traffic scenarios, with continuous improvement through learning. The integration of IoT and CNN enables real-time communication and timely warnings, facilitating proactive interventions to prevent accidents. Experimental evaluations demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed system in improving VRU safety. This research offers a promising solution for reducing road accidents and creating safer urban environments. © 2024 IEEE.
