The problem with finite element analysis is that each analysis is run separately, so any variation in geometry requires a new analysis. When performing finite element analysis for generating fault diagnosis data, the frequent geometry variations that occur to consider numerous fault levels lead to a long time. In this paper, to solve these problems, an analysis using a physics-informed neural network is proposed to solve the differential equation that was solved by a numerical method using a neural network. Transfer learning is used, which enables fast analysis based on the analysis experience before the geometry is varied. In addition, nonlinear magnetic material characteristics and electronic systems in the saturated region are analyzed to evaluate whether the physics-informed neural network can cope with some numerical analysis problem.

Magnetic components play an important role in power electronic equipment, but there is still lack of accurate magnetic core loss estimation model. The data-driven methods are well-developed in recent years, and they are also more robust and accurate than conventional model-driven methods like Steinmetz Equation (SE) and improved Generalized Steinmetz Equation (iGSE). However, existing data-driven methods often focus on single excitation waveform like sinusoidal excitation waveform, which is not robust enough when facing complex excitation waveform with many high-frequency harmonic waveform. This paper presents a data-driven model based on attention mechanism which can capture the inner relationship within the input excitation waveform to present a more accurate core loss estimation results. And the comparison results with Multi-layer Perceptron (MLP) and Long Short-Term Memory(LSTM) models indicates that the proposed model has much more accuracy when facing complex excitation waveform. The proposed model can help to design magnetic components.

This paper examines the challenges and requirements for transitioning logistic distribution networks to electric fleets. To maintain their current operations, fleet operators need a clear understanding of the charging infrastructure required and its relationship to existing power grid limitations and fleet schedules. In this context, this paper presents a modeling framework to optimize the charging infrastructure and charging schedules for a logistic distribution network in a joint fashion. Specifically, we cast the joint infrastructure design and operational scheduling problem as a mixed-integer linear program that can be solved with off-the-shelf optimization algorithms providing global optimality guarantees. For a case study in the Netherlands, we assess the impact of different parameters in our optimization problem, specifically, the allowed deviation from existing operations with conventional diesel trucks and the cost factor for daily peak energy usage. We examine effects on infrastructure design and power requirements, comparing our co-design algorithm with planned infrastructure solutions. The results indicate that current charging and electric machine technologies for trucks can perform the itineraries of conventional trucks for our case study, but to maintain critical time requirements and navigate grid congestion co-design can have a significant impact in reducing total cost of ownership (average 3.51 % decrease in total costs compared to rule-based design solutions).
