The LS-STAG immersed boundary cut-cell method modification for viscoelastic flow computations is presented. Rate type viscoelastic flow models (linear and quasilinear) are considered. Rate type viscoelastic flow models (linear and quasilinear) are considered. The obtained numerical method is implemented in the LS-STAG software package developed by the author. This software allows to simulate viscous incompressible flows by using the LS-STAG method and it modifications. The LS-STAG-discretization of extra-stress equations for viscoelastic Maxwell, Jeffreys, upper-convected Maxwell, Maxwell-A, Oldroyd-B, Oldroyd-A, Johnson Segalman fluids was developed. Formulae for differential types of convected time derivatives (Oldroyd, Cotter-Rivlin, Jaumann-Zaremba-Noll derivatives) the LS-STAG discretization was obtained. Normal non-newtonian stresses are computed at the centers of base LS-STAG mesh cells and shear non-newtonian stresses are computed at the cell corners. Time-stepping algorithm is based on the first order predictor-corrector scheme. To validate developed numerical method the test problem about viscoelastic Oldroyd-B flow past a circular airfoil was used. Computational experiments were carried out at Weissenberg number in the range from 0 to 4. The computed values of the drag coefficients and the wake length are in good agreement with the experimental data. © Published under licence by IOP Publishing Ltd.

The paper, basing on analysis of the Monte-Carlo Tree Search (MCTS) method and specific features of its behavior for various cases of usage, proposes a new variant of the method, which was called as Monte-Carlo Tree Search with Tree Shape Control (MCTS-TSC) and which uses original Depth-Width Criteria (DWCs) for both tree shape estimation and control during search and for estimation and selection of potentially better options for search continuation. Proposed Tree Shape Control (TSC) technique can be used with some other tuning, pruning, and learning techniques. Besides, it can provide better scheduling of MCTS parallelization.

In this paper, we discuss the design of a system for crop forecasting. Despite the presence of a fairly large number of software products for precision farming on the market, many of the existing developments, on the one hand, are not intended to provide data for further analysis by specialists who are not employees of the developer company, and on the other hand, do not ensure food security of the Russian Federation. We have designed a system for the acquisition and subsequent analysis of aerial photographic data. The paper describes the method of presenting data, the process of calculating vegetation indices for a certain date, and provides approaches to modeling the vegetation process using high-quality determinate mathematical models and predicting the yield of a field in the next season, and the cost of this crop. We discuss the opportunities of our system and show the ways of further increasing its quality. © 2023 IEEE.

Decompilation is reconstruction of a program in a high-level language from a program in a low-level language. In most cases static decompilation is unable to completely reconstruct high-level data types due to loss of typing information during compilation. We present several profile-based techniques that help to recover high-level types. The techniques include pointer/integer determination by value profiling and composite type identification by heap profiling.

The paper considers the stages of information-and-technological development of an enterprise from automation to digitization. The task is set to determine the appropriate moment when an enterprise shall come to its activity digitization. An early or late transition threatens with the reduction of the enterprise efficiency achieved due to information technology use. The paper presents the policy of making an investment decision on transition from automation to digitization for an operating enterprise based on the investment efficiency assessment and the Gompertz distribution.

Building upon existing software systems while maintaining or improving software quality is a major goal of software engineering. To achieve this, every software engineering phase (requirements analysis, software design, implementation, testing and maintenance) must produce good quality outputs for the next phase. We believe that a next generation reverse engineering tool can assist in realizing this need. InSight is a new and powerful CASE toolset for software developers and architects, designed to support the development and maintenance of software throughout the complete lifecycle. The inSight tool suite provides software architects and developers with new capabilities of understanding existing software systems, allowing them to ask their day-to-day questions directly to the tool and receive up-to-date answers while interacting with the tool. It includes data mining capabilities such as code flow extraction, and software interaction extraction such as operating system and application specific messaging, uses, needs, etc. The inSight tool suite also includes powerful graphical interfaces for presenting and manipulating the extracted information. Control flow is presented as editable flowcharts. InSight supports Protel, ANSI C, and C++. InSight uses a patent pending reverse engineering technique to perform these extractions.

The paper addresses the problem of assessing media text readability depending on the correlation of objective and subjective text complexity. Objective text complexity refers to a set of measurable characteristics such as baseline, morphological, syntactic and lexical characteristics of a media text (a piece of news published on university websites), which is calculated automatically for each text. In total, 34 parameters are considered. Subjective text complexity score is assigned to each text by human experts who assess the clarity, structure, cohesion and coherence of the text. The correlation between subjective and objective text complexity is studied using machine learning models. The readability level is measured using machine learning methods and regression-correlation analysis. Namely, an artificial neural network and regression models are used. It is demonstrated that the use of polynomial features and lasso regularization allows to get a compact regression model of a high quality. The use of the chosen machine learning techniques made it possible to estimate the impact of distinct linguistic features on the readability level. © 2023 IEEE.

In the purview of most educational sectors today, numerous reviews regarding data mining have been the primary focus, with goals of discovering vast knowledge patterns for students' data. This paper focuses on building model that predicted the performance of computer science students in some courses they were examined through classification technique. The model built for the purpose of classification via decision tree classifier which was adopted in WEKA and KNIME analytics platform. The workflow model basically connected nodes to generate the decision trees while J4.8 Decision Tree Classifier programmable outputs were generated for the courses to obtain the confusion matrix and other instances. Bar Charts were plotted to display the students' performance in the courses. The mean absolute errors, RMS error and relative absolute error all read 0% while the kappa value obtained from the analysis ranged between 0.991 - 1.00 which perfectly agrees for most statistical values. © 2022 IET Conference Proceedings.
