This article introduces a new medical internet of things(IoT)framework for intelligent fall detection system of senior people based on our proposed deep forest *** cascade multi-layer structure of deep forest classifier allows to generate new features at each level with minimal hyperparameters compared to deep neural ***,the optimal number of the deep forest layers is automatically estimated based on the early stopping criteria of validation accuracy value at each generated *** suggested forest classifier was successfully tested and evaluated using a public SmartFall dataset,which is acquired from three-axis accelerometer in a *** includes 92781 training samples and 91025 testing samples with two labeled classes,namely non-fall and *** results of our deep forest classifier demonstrated a superior performance with the best accuracy score of 98.0%compared to three machine learning models,i.e.,K-nearest neighbors,decision trees and traditional random forest,and two deep learning models,which are dense neural networks and convolutional neural *** considering security and privacy aspects in the future work,our proposed medical IoT framework for fall detection of old people is valid for real-time healthcare application deployment.

The rapid advancement of Blockchain technology has led to its widespread application in several domains of digital activities, such as e-government concerns and monetary security. This article presents a smart contract-based Blockchain solution for protecting intellectual property rights in new product development. The proposed solution effectively tackles the challenges associated with the confidentiality of personally identifiable information, efficiency in storing transaction-related information, as well as cooperation and monitoring in IPR. Initially, we create a mathematical model based on smart contract enabled Blockchain and intelligent contracts. Subsequently, we develop algorithms for Blockchain generation, and intelligent contracts. The system is suitable for protecting IPR in a blockchain network, by implementation of distributed identity authentication and real-time extensible storage. These features enhance the security and expandability of circuit copyright protection based on blockchain technology. The experimental results demonstrate that the suggested algorithm has decreased the cost for communication and enhanced the effectiveness of storing information and administration. Furthermore, it demonstrates resilience against many common attacks such as double-spending assaults, while maintaining low cost and overhead. Additionally, it exhibits a superior level of security in comparison to three other competing algorithms. © 2025 IEEE.

The advanced digital revolution has shifted conventional teaching and learning into digital education. In consistency with digital education, Augmented Reality (AR) applications started to shine in the education industry for their ability to create conducive teaching and learning environments, especially in remote learning during the COVID-19 pandemic. Movement Control Order (MCO) implemented in the year 2020 has led to emergency remote teaching and learning without much prepa-ration for all educators and learners. Throughout these few years, most educators got familiar with digital teaching tools and online teaching platforms. Hence, this study aims to explore educators’ readiness to adopt AR as a teaching tool in their teaching during the endemic period. A quantitative approach via questionnaire has been distributed to the Private Higher Education Institutions (PHEIs) in the states of Selangor and Kuala Lumpur. Machine learning using a clustering tech-nique was used to find patterns between the demographics of educators towards the AR perception of educators. The results revealed that educators’ perceptions of AR technology are influenced by their familiarity with it, their personal beliefs, and their attitudes toward technology. This study provides an insightful overview of the benefits of AR applications in education and the implications of the adoption of AR in Malaysian schools and educational institutions. It also highlights the importance of motivating educators and students to embrace AR as an enhancement learning tool, providing a valuable discussion for the government, learning institutions, and educators on the implementation of AR in Malaysia. © 2023, Brno University of Technology. The secure authentication of user data is crucial in various sectors, including digital banking, medical applications and e-governance, especially for images. Secure communication protects against data tampering and forgery, thereby bolstering the foundation for informed decision-making, whether managing traffic, enhancing public safety, or monitoring environmental conditions. Conventional visual cryptographic protocols offer solutions, particularly for color images, though they grapple with challenges such as high computational demands and reliance on multiple cover images. Additionally, they often require third-party authorization to verify the image integrity. On the other hand, visual cryptography offers a streamlined approach. It divides images into shares, where each pixel represented uniquely, thus allowing visual decryption without complex computations. The optimized multi-tiered authentication protocol (OMTAP), which is integrated with the visual sharing scheme (VSS), takes secure image sharing to the next level. It reduces share count, prioritizes image fidelity and transmission security, and introduces the self-verification of decrypted image integrity through asymmetric key matrix generators, thus eliminating external validation. Rigorous testing has confirmed OMTAP's robustness and broad applicability, thereby ensuring that decrypted images maintain their quality with a peak signal-to-noise ratio (PSNR) of 40 dB and full integrity at the receiver's end. © 2024 American Institute of Mathematical Sciences. Free space optical communication being an emerging technology, has Fog as a primary challenge on its way which makes fog modelling necessary to manage wireless networks. In this paper, an analytical study was made on the performance of five mathematical fog models employing the NRZ-OOK modulation scheme for transmission and a Si PIN photodiode as the photo receptor. This article focuses on numerous performance specifications including Signal to noise ratio [SNR], Bit error rate [BER] and channel capacity all against visibility under fog for propagations wavelengths of 850 nm and 1550 nm and simulations were carried out in MATLAB. The results indicate that the wavelength of 1550nm as more advantageous option over the others for FSO wireless links and an investigation on different models and their characteristics define their suitability for implementation. © 2023 IEEE.

In this paper, the performance study of the FPGA-based encoder is delivered and received with little errors given the large number of applications that employ digital communication to store and retrieve data recently. Forward Error Correction units a wireless communication system region that is essential. Several types of encryption methods have been measured, and the error is completely different. Convolution code writing approach, an honest technique used to rectify mistakes during the data transfer. Convolutional encoder area unit compelled to provide the output in the kind of register style with specified positions in the register. Using these facts, the best way to execute of data transmission in digital communication channels is to correct errors in codes. Communications have a crucial role in times of crisis, particularly in times of emergency. Whenever a region is affected by any disaster, social media sites such as Twitter, etc., are a great way to get information out to those who need it the most. Our paper suggests that in times of crisis, when people are worried about finding the right emergency contacts or are experiencing a transformation in their psychological response, they should manually enter their experience into an app to obtain contact information for the nearest SOS. Alternatively, the proposed application suggests scraping hashtags from around the world with web scraping scripts to retrieve geo-referenced tweets in real time. In order to gather accurate data, Twitter's API or some third-party application can be used in the development of this software. When there is a major crisis, social media user behavior plays a vital role, owing to its efficiency and high reliability with swift data dissemination. Anxiety over finding the right emergency team contact may cause people to lose their cool and become unclear about which authority they should call when an emergency occurs. Eventually, our application bridges the gap between clients in need of help and the approved agency that can really provide that support in different circumstances. In the case of, for example, a lost child or a flooded area, our application helps you get in touch with an organization that can assist you in dealing with the situation. We have used CNN-1-D + LSTM, CNN-1-D + Bi-LSTMs, and CNN-1-D + LSTM + Glove-100-D to get maximum accuracy for the classification model. It is possible to use the prototype solution in a novel way to organize immediate assistance with authorities in comprehensive administration, while integrating Twitter or other social platforms into the application can make it a feasible platform for preventive intervention and catastrophe management. © 2023, The Author(s), under exclusive license to Springer Nature

In blockchain networks, transactions can be transmitted through channels. The existing transmission methods depend on their routing information. If a node randomly chooses a channel to transmit a transaction, the transmission may be aborted due to insufficient funds(also called balance) or a low transmission rate. To increase the success rate and reduce transmission delay across all transactions, this work proposes a transaction transmission model for blockchain channels based on non-cooperative game *** balance, channel states, and transmission probability are fully considered. This work then presents an optimized channel transaction transmission algorithm. First, channel balances are analyzed and suitable channels are selected if their balance is sufficient. Second, a Nash equilibrium point is found by using an iterative sub-gradient method and its related channels are then used to transmit transactions. The proposed method is compared with two state-of-the-art approaches: Silent Whispers and Speedy Murmurs. Experimental results show that the proposed method improves transmission success rate, reduces transmission delay,and effectively decreases transmission overhead in comparison with its two competitive peers.

The incorporation of artificial intelligence (AI) into power-related applications signifies a new and unexplored domain in machine learning for predicting power generation. This novel method utilizes prediction models, often used in different fields, to predict energy-related patterns, providing a unique and specialized viewpoint. The synergy of academicians, AI experts, and industry professionals in the energy sector has resulted in the creation of customized AI models to optimize operational efficiency. By customizing various AI models to suit the distinct attributes of energy scenarios and datasets, these models are positioned to transform energy management methods. This study examines the utilization of AI models to enhance energy efficiency in power generation in Malaysia. The project seeks to predict future power consumption in various sectors, analyze growth rates, and identify sectors with investment potential by developing a Linear Regression model. In addition, a thorough power plan is developed using the estimated energy usage. A comparative analysis is performed to determine the most appropriate model for this particular scenario, which will improve decision-making in the energy sector. The results of this study present promising opportunities for further investigation. By broadening the study's focus to encompass a broader array of AI models and their assessment of performance, it is possible to gain useful insights for predicting power generation. Furthermore, the integration of real-time data streams and the inclusion of feedback loops in the AI models could improve their ability to adapt and increase their accuracy as time progresses.
