As China's steel production accounts for an increasing share of the world's output, the intelligent transformation of the steel industry is becoming increasingly urgent. To address issues such as low levels of mobile informationization in steel enterprises and the lack of an industry-specific mobile application platform, it is of great significance to establish a shared mobile application platform for the steel industry. In this paper, the requirements of the platform were analyzed, and the platform's functions were designed. The software design of the platform was then carried out, and the entire mobile application sharing platform was developed, effectively improving the production management efficiency of steel enterprises. The results indicate that the platform can effectively meet the needs of steel enterprises and has significant engineering significance. © 2023 Technical Committee on control Theory, Chinese Association of Automation.

This article investigates a fractional-order coupled Hindmarsh-Rose neural networks model. Firstly, the existence and stability of an equilibrium point in the system are verified. Then, the periodic bifurcation behavior of the system on a two-parameter plane is studied, and numerical simulations show the existence of both non -chaotic and chaotic plus periodic bifurcation behavior on the two-parameter plane. Finally, a feedback controller was designed to stabilize the bifurcation point of the delayed system and increase the stable range of the system. © 2023 Technical Committee on control Theory, Chinese Association of Automation.

In this paper, a novel smooth magnetron is introduced to construct a fractional memristor Hopfield neural network (fractional order M-HNN). The local stability of equilibrium point are analyzed theoretically. Taking the memristor coupling strength coefficient and the fractional order as bifurcation parameters, the phase trajectory diagram, the bifurcation diagram of the system are drawn to analyze the influence on the dynamic behavior of the neural network. When the system parameters are fixed, the hyperchaos phenomenon of the fractional order M-HNN model is revealed. Finally, the PD controller is applied to the model to enhance the stability of the system. © 2023 Technical Committee on control Theory, Chinese Association of Automation.

Based on fractional calculus theory and reaction-diffusion equation theory, a fractional-order time-delay reaction-diffusion neural network with Neumann boundary conditions is investigated. By constructing the phase space basis based on the Laplace operator eigenvector, the system equation is linearized to obtain the characteristic equation. Then, the characteristic equation is analyzed, and the local stability of the system at the equilibrium point is discussed. And taking the time delay as the bifurcation parameter, the stability changes of the system at the equilibrium point and the generation conditions of the Hopf bifurcation are studied when the time delay changes. Moreover, a state feedback controller is designed to control the bifurcation of the system. Finally, the theoretical derivation is verified by numerical simulation. © 2023 Technical Committee on control Theory, Chinese Association of Automation.

Equivalent input disturbance-based load frequency control for smart grid with air conditioning loads

Integrating intermittent wind power into power systems results in low or zero inertia, threatening their frequency stability. To accommodate intermittent generations, the demand response(DR) is introduced, and air conditioning loads(ACs) account for an increasing proportion of all loads. The replacement of traditional generators with wind turbines and the ACs user uncertainties produce parameter uncertainties. This paper aims to construct an equivalent input disturbance(EID)-based load frequency control(LFC) strategy for the power system by considering wind power and ACs. First, an open-loop model is constructed for the LFC scheme with parameter uncertainties. Then, the parameter uncertainties and external disturbance are lumped into a fictitious disturbance, which is estimated using an EID *** incorporating the estimation of disturbance into the control input, the disturbance-rejection performance is achieved. Next, the Lyapunov theory is used to derive the two linear-matrix-inequality-based asymptotic stability criteria. A design algorithm is developed for the EID-based LFC scheme by exploiting an overall performance evaluation index. Finally, simulation results for the single-area and two-area LFC schemes show that, compared with the existing approaches, the method presented realizes the better disturbance rejection and higher robustness against parameter uncertainties, wind power fluctuation, and tie-line power ***, its robustness to time delays is verified.

Distributionally robust stability of payoff allocations in stochastic coalitional games

We consider multi-agent coalitional games with uncertainty in the coalitional values. We provide a novel methodology to study the stability of the grand coalition in the case where each coalition constructs ambiguity sets for the (possibly) unknown probability distribution of the uncertainty. As a less conservative solution concept compared to worst-case approaches for coalitional stability, we consider a stochastic version of the so-called core set, i.e., the expected value core. Unfortunately, without exact knowledge of the probability distribution, the evaluation of the expected value core is an extremely challenging task. Hence, we propose the concept of distributionaly robust (DR) core. Leveraging tools from data-driven DR optimization under the Wasserstein distance, we provide finite-sample guarantees that any allocation which lies in the DR core is also stable with respect to the true probability distribution. Furthermore, we show that as the number of samples grows unbounded, the DR core converges almost surely to the true expected value core. We dedicate the last section to the computational tractability of finding an allocation in the DR core. © 2023, CC BY.

The cardiac muscle is elastic and deformable. Pushing a catheter in contact with the cardiac muscle surface to conduct focal energy-based ablative therapies, such as RF ablation, requires an adequate electrode-tissue contact surface to transfer the energy to the target site. In this regard, the relationship between the contact force (CF) and the resulting mechanical response is still unclear, in particular, the insertion depth (ID) and the diameter of the surface deformation. The objective of this study was to quantify these relationships using an ex vivo model and a computational model. A rigid bar with a 2.3 mm diameter blunt tip (mimicking a 7Fr standard ablation catheter) was placed at a perpendicular orientation on a fragment of the porcine heart. CF values ranged from 10 to 80g. We used ANSYS to build a Mooney-Rivlig model of 3 parameters based on hyperelastic material and to simulate the same conditions as in the experiments. The experimental results showed a strong linear correlation between CF and insertion depth ID ( $\mathrm{R}^{2}=0.97, \mathrm{P} < 0.001$ ), from $0.7 \pm 0.3$ mm at 10 gto $6.9 \pm 0.1$ mm at 80 g. We also found a strong linear correlation between CF and minor and major diameters of the surface deformation assessed, from $4.0 \pm 0.4$ mm at 20 g to $10.3 \pm 0.0$ mm at 80 g ( $\mathrm{R}^{2}=0.96$ ), and from $6.4 \pm 0.7$ mm at 20 g to $16.7 \pm 0.1$ mm at 80 g ( $\mathrm{R}^{2}=0.95$ ), respectively. A descent gradient algorithm was used to minimize the mean square error (MSE) between the experimental and computational results of ID for the 10 values of CF. After trying different combinations for the3 parameters of the Mooney-Rivlig model, an optimal fit was achieved after 5 iterations, with an error of less than 0.55 mm for ID. This same mode was then used to predict the diameter of the surface deformation, obtaining an error of less than 0.65 mm. The results confirm that a Mooney-Rivlig model of three parameters based on

Dynamic routing algorithms aim to find the shortest (fastest in most cases) path in a road network prone to timedependent traffic states. Conventional approaches assume the availability of link-level travel time data. Due to the limited number of sensors in real road networks, for large parts of a road network often no travel time data are available. Linklevel travel times are therefore often estimated as constants. Consequently, predicted travel times and routes are not accurate, especially under congested traffic conditions. In this paper, we develop a macroscopic routing algorithm in a clustered network based on loop detector data. Traffic speeds in each cluster are assumed to scale homogeneously and are estimated based on the cluster-specific network fundamental diagrams. A macroscopic routing approach is implemented, which reduces the complexity of finding an optimal path. As a result, missing link-level data are imputed with an expected traffic state in each cluster based on the fundamental diagram. Preprocessed routing information within the clusters and a macroscopic network lead to fast route computations. The approach is evaluated from two sides. Using one month of processed empirical trajectory data collected from a large fleet of vehicles in Munich, our predicted travel times are proved to be more accurate compared to a baseline routing algorithm and a one-cluster (network) method. Re-routing can also be observed from free-flow routes using synthesized trips, showing that our macroscopic routing algorithm is capable of avoiding congested clusters.

Digital framework for metallic subtractive process planning: Liger optimisation case study

Metallic subtractive process planning is challenging. It requires a blend of expert knowledge, experience, and established manufacturing methods. Decision-making in this domain is multifaceted and complex, and this includes the need to satisfy multiple conflicting demands faced by the manufacturing sector today. However, with the evolving landscape of manufacturing, combined with increased adoptions of digital technologies, the traditional rules of thumb are becoming obsolete. In response, this research investigated these decision-making processes within a subset of the digital framework for subtractive process planning. In particular, it has demonstrated that an advanced open-source optimisation tool (Liger) could be integrated with commercial industrial software and applied to a machining case study. The integrated software intelligently executed and automated simulations using advanced optimisation techniques. The outputs are a range of optimised solutions that support manufacturing engineers’ decision-making. One of the major benefits of the open-source software is that it provides an intuitive to use interface suitable for the non-expert in optimisation, offers a varied range of state-of-the-art multi-objective optimisation algorithms, and is capable of incorporating many different third-party types of software, models and simulations. In this paper, the Liger software has been applied to a simple case study to find the best feedrate and depths of cut that simultaneously minimise the cutting force and the time it takes to complete the machining process. The case study demonstrates proof-of-principle results that the optimisation software can be implemented in a wider process planning context with additional digital manufacturing simulation models.

Finite Impulse Response filtering is increasingly becoming the interpolation method of choice in modern computer numerically controlled (CNC) machining centres. Recently, On-The-Fly (OTF) interpolation was introduced using direct convolution to adaptively change the FIR filter time constant throughout the toolpath. In this paper, it is shown that computational advantages can be gained by using frequency domain methods instead. This paper introduces a novel on-the-fly CNC interpolation method using Fast Fourier Transforms (FFTs). The presented OTF FFT method demonstrates up to 10 times increase in computational speed than the direct convolution OTF method. The effectiveness of the proposed method is validated in simulation based case studies. © 2022 The Authors. Published by Elsevier B.V.
