The aim of this study was to develop a game-based environment with embedded AI cognitive diagnosis to deliver personalized instruction to learners. The system identified participants' possible misconceptions using a Bayesian network. Corresponding learning games based on their misconceptions were then provided to the learners. This research compared the effects of AI cognitive diagnosis in a game-based learning environment to those in a multimedia learning environment. A quasi-experimental design was used in the experiments, with fifty-six secondary school students as participants. The results showed that the accuracy of the concept diagnosis system was 90.8% (expert judgment). The personalized learning outcomes of students in the game-based learning environment were superior to those engaged in multimedia problem-solving tasks. The results implied that the game-based learning with cognitive diagnosis mechanism plays an important role in enhancing problem-solving skills, learning motivation, misconception correction, and flow experience.

Monolithic silica spin column extraction (MonoSpin-SPE) was developed as a simple, sensitive, and eco-friendly pretreatment method which combined with ultra-fast liquid chromatography-mass spectrometry (UFLC-MS) to determine the levels of six phthalate esters, dimethyl- (DMP), diethyl- (DEP), dipropyl- [ DPrP], butyl-benzyl- (BBP), dicyclohexyl- (DcHP), and di-n-octyl-(DOP) phthalate in physiological saline samples. Under optimized experimental conditions, the method was linear in the following ranges: 0.2- 50 μg/L for DMP, DEP, DPrP, DcHP and DOP; 5- 100 μg/L for BBP. The correlation coefficients (R2 ) were in the range of 0. 9951 - 0. 9995 for all the analytes and the limits of detection (LODs) and limits of quantification (LOQs) were in the ranges of 0.02 - 0.9 μg/L and 0.08 - 2.7μg/L, respectively. The pretreatment process showed good reproducibility with inter-day and intra-day relative standard deviations (RSDs) below 8.5% and 11.2%, respectively. This method was used to determine the levels of six phthalate esters in physiological saline samples and the recoveries ranged from 71.2% to 107.3%. DMP and DEP were found in actual physical saline samples (brand A and brand B).

This study aimed to discuss the building and using situations of e-learning platform, and treated total quality management and knowledge management as the theoretical foundations. The two teachers worked in the same college, and used this platform to teach students. This study was a qualitative research, both teachers had to answer 10 propositions, and the data collection method was semi-structured interview. The results included three parts: before using, using, and after using e-learning platform, which were analyzed by TQM, knowledge innovation, and knowledge sharing, respectively. The first part explained the process of building this platform; the second described that both teachers confronted difficulties, and the third depicted the approaches of the interactions between teacher and students. However, both teachers obtained different learning effects. The first teacher got the poor learning effects of the students, but the second got the well learning effects.
