Eye health has become a global health concern and attracted broad *** the years,researchers have proposed many state-of-the-art convolutional neural networks(CNNs)to assist ophthalmologists in diagnosing ocular diseases efficiently and ***,most existing methods were dedicated to constructing sophisticated CNNs,inevitably ignoring the trade-off between performance and model *** alleviate this paradox,this paper proposes a lightweight yet efficient network architecture,mixeddecomposed convolutional network(MDNet),to recognise ocular *** MDNet,we introduce a novel mixed-decomposed depthwise convolution method,which takes advantage of depthwise convolution and depthwise dilated convolution operations to capture low-resolution and high-resolution patterns by using fewer computations and fewer *** conduct extensive experiments on the clinical anterior segment optical coherence tomography(AS-OCT),LAG,University of California San Diego,and CIFAR-100 *** results show our MDNet achieves a better trade-off between the performance and model complexity than efficient CNNs including MobileNets and ***,our MDNet outperforms MobileNets by 2.5%of accuracy by using 22%fewer parameters and 30%fewer computations on the AS-OCT dataset.

We present the approaches and contributions of the winning team NimbRo@Home at the RoboCup@Home 2024 competition in the Open Platform League held in Eindhoven, NL. Further, we describe our hardware setup and give an overview of the results for the task stages and the final demonstration. For this year’s competition, we put a special emphasis on open-vocabulary object segmentation and grasping approaches that overcome the labeling overhead of supervised vision approaches, commonly used in RoboCup@Home. We successfully demonstrated that we can segment and grasp non-labeled objects by text descriptions. Further, we extensively employed Large Language Model (LLMs) for natural language understanding and task planning. Throughout the competition, our approaches showed robustness and generalization capabilities. In this study, we propose to explore multi-layered clustering to provide a context-aware data analytics tool for monitoring the network behavior of subsystems, such as a district heating (DH) network. Multi-layer clustering, in contrast to multi-view clustering, does not assume conditional independence of layers. The main idea of our approach is based on the integration of clustering models produced by considering different perspectives that capture information about the monitored subsystems' operational behavior or performance as well as their contextual environment. The initial clustering layer can reflect a static context, which is important for the subsystems' performance. It will be used as a base on which clustering models produced with respect to other analyzed operational characteristics and contexts will be layered. This will facilitate analysis and comparison of the subsystems' behavior in two comparable time periods and, eventually, identification of deviations that need attention. The proposed approach is evaluated and validated in a use case from the DH domain. The multi-layered clustering is applied and demonstrated to be robust for continuous context-aware analysis of the performance of a network of DH substations. © 2024 IEEE.

We described ferromagnetic film and bilayer films composed of two ferromagnetic layers coupled through antiferromagnetic interfacial interaction by classical Heisenberg model and simulated their magnetization state,magnetic permeability,and Faraday effect at zero and finite temperature by using the Landau–Lifshitz–Gilbert(LLG)*** results indicate that in a microwave field with positive circular polarization,the ferromagnetic film has one resonance peak while the bilayer film has two resonance ***,the resonance peak disappears in ferromagnetic film,and only one resonance peak emerges in bilayer film in the negative circularly polarized microwave *** the microwave field’s frequency exceeds the film’s resonance frequency,the Faraday rotation angle of the ferromagnetic film is the greatest,and it decreases when the thickness of the two halves of the bilayer is *** the microwave field’s frequency remains constant,the Faraday rotation angle fluctuates with temperature in the same manner as spontaneous magnetization *** a DC magnetic field is applied in the direction of the anisotropic axis of the film,the Faraday rotation angle varies with the DC magnetic field and shows a similar shape of the hysteresis loop.

Cancers have emerged as a significant concern due to their impact on public health and society. The examination and interpretation of tissue sections stained with Hematoxylin and Eosin (H&E) play a crucial role in disease assessment, particularly in cases like gastric cancer. Microsatellite instability (MSI) is suggested to contribute to the carcinogenesis of specific gastrointestinal tumors. However, due to the nonspecific morphology observed in H&E-stained tissue sections, MSI determination often requires costly evaluations through various molecular studies and immunohistochemistry methods in specialized molecular pathology laboratories. Despite the high cost, international guidelines recommend MSI testing for gastrointestinal cancers. Thus, there is a pressing need for a new diagnostic modality with lower costs and widespread applicability for MSI detection. This study aims to detect MSI directly from H&E histology slides in gastric cancer, providing a cost-effective alternative. The performance of well-known deep convolutional neural networks (DCNNs) and a proposed architecture are compared. Medical image datasets are typically smaller than benchmark datasets like ImageNet, necessitating the use of off-the-shelf DCNN architectures developed for large datasets through techniques such as transfer learning. Designing an architecture proportional to a custom dataset can be tedious and may not yield desirable results. In this work, we propose an automatic method to extract a lightweight and efficient architecture from a given heavy architecture (e.g., well-known off-the-shelf DCNNs) proportional to a specific dataset. To predict MSI instability, we extracted the MicroNet architecture from the Xception network using the proposed method and compared its performance with other well-known architectures. Object-Centric Image to Video Generation with Language Guidance

Accurate and flexible world models are crucial for autonomous systems to understand their environment and predict future events. Object-centric models, with structured latent spaces, have shown promise in modeling object dynamics and interactions, but often face challenges in scaling to complex datasets and incorporating external guidance, limiting their applicability in robotics. To address these limitations, we propose TextOCVP, an object-centric model for image-to-video generation guided by textual descriptions. TextOCVP parses an observed scene into object representations, called slots, and utilizes a text-conditioned transformer predictor to forecast future object states and video frames. Our approach jointly models object dynamics and interactions while incorporating textual guidance, thus leading to accurate and controllable predictions. Our method’s structured latent space offers enhanced control over the prediction process, outperforming several image-to-video generative baselines. Additionally, we demonstrate that structured object-centric representations provide superior controllability and interpretability, facilitating the modeling of object dynamics and enabling more precise and understandable predictions. Mobile devices within Fifth Generation(5G)networks,typically equipped with Android systems,serve as a bridge to connect digital gadgets such as global positioning system,mobile devices,and wireless routers,which are vital in facilitating end-user communication ***,the security of Android systems has been challenged by the sensitive data involved,leading to vulnerabilities in mobile devices used in 5G *** vulnerabilities expose mobile devices to cyber-attacks,primarily resulting from security ***-permission apps in Android can exploit these channels to access sensitive information,including user identities,login credentials,and geolocation *** such attack leverages"zero-permission"sensors like accelerometers and gyroscopes,enabling attackers to gather information about the smartphone's *** underscores the importance of fortifying mobile devices against potential future *** research focuses on a new recurrent neural network prediction model,which has proved highly effective for detecting side-channel attacks in mobile devices in 5G *** conducted state-of-the-art comparative studies to validate our experimental *** results demonstrate that even a small amount of training data can accurately recognize 37.5％of previously unseen user-typed ***,our tap detection mechanism achieves a 92％accuracy rate,a crucial factor for text *** findings have significant practical implications,as they reinforce mobile device security in 5G networks,enhancing user privacy,and data protection.

Yolov5 Outdoor Dynamic Object Detection Based on Multi-scale Feature Fusion 1

Outdoor object target detection is a very popular research task. 7 categories of data that fit the outdoor scenario were selected from the VOC2012 dataset as the current dataset for this study. In order to improve the detection accuracy of outdoor objects while keeping the network in good real-time, we propose a new yolov5 outdoor object detection network structure based on multi-scale feature fusion, which fuses shallow and deep features at different scales so that the fused feature layer has rich semantic information while enhancing the positioning information. The MAP of its proposed network on the VOC2012 dataset improved by 1.5% compared to Yolov5, and the FPS reached 61.51, which is better than the original Yolov5 method. © 2023, The Author(s), under exclusive license to Springer Nature Singapore Pte Ltd.
