Russian Sign Language is a language used for communication by people with hearing impairments. Automating sign language translation is an important task in facilitating communication between hearing and deaf people. The paper describes the system of recognition of isolated gestures of the Russian sign language using a component approach. The component approach involves representing a gesture as its components - this paper considers such components as palm configuration, palm orientation and palm position relative to the body. The proposed system first recognizes the individual components of the gesture, based on which the prediction of the gesture sense is made. This makes the system more versatile. We use the MediaPipe framework as a feature extraction tool and LSTM as a classifier. The results show that this approach is very effective on a small set of static gestures. Experiments conducted on a larger set of dynamic gestures indicate that additional features and transformations are required to achieve higher accuracy. © 2023 IEEE.

This paper presents a comprehensive experimental study of a novel trust-based security architecture for edge computing environments. We introduce an adaptive security framework that combines dynamic trust evaluation with decentralized decision-making mechanisms to enhance threat detection and system resilience. Through extensive simulation experiments, we evaluate the architecture's performance across various network configurations, ranging from 20 to 100 nodes, with different operational parameters and security event patterns. The simulation framework implements a sophisticated spatial distribution model for edge nodes, incorporating computational constraints, memory limitations, and communication boundaries typical of edge computing environments. Our results demonstrate that the proposed architecture achieves an 83.0% threat detection rate while maintaining network resilience at 95.6%, significantly exceeding baseline security requirements. The trust management mechanism demonstrates robust adaptation to security events, maintaining average trust scores of 78.6% despite active security incidents. We provide detailed analysis of system behavior under various attack scenarios, including intrusion attempts, data leaks, DDoS attacks, and authentication failures. The architecture shows exceptional scalability characteristics, with improved detection rates and trust stability in larger network configurations. Performance metrics reveal consistent achievement above target thresholds across all evaluated dimensions, with minimum trust levels maintaining a 7.2 percentage point margin above requirements. Our findings provide empirical validation of the architecture's effectiveness while offering practical insights into deployment considerations for edge computing security. The study contributes to the field by establishing quantitative benchmarks for security performance in edge environments and demonstrating the viability of trust-based security mechanisms for distributed

The article presents the results of research using the method of analysis of hierarchies. This method, unlike the existing ones, allows comparing indicators of different nature in one decision-making plane. The selection of aircraft has been made. Characteristics and additional tactical and technical parameters are defined, which are divided into 5 groups in accordance with the indicators they describe. The calculation of integral quality indicators was carried out with the formation of a generalized global assessment criterion for each aircraft and unmanned aerial vehicle. A comparison of evaluation options was made for reference calculations and in accordance with the task being performed. The results of the calculations highlighted the advantages and disadvantages that should be paid attention to when choosing an aircraft. © 2022 IEEE.

In the presented work, the relative throughput of both a ground-based range transponder and the entire short-range radio engineering system is estimated under the action in the range channel of the total flow of range request signals. And also considered the requesting signals for unauthorized use of the rangefinder channel transponder by the interested party under the action of chaotic impulse noise flow. The evaluation was carried out on the basis of the representation of the channel for measuring the range of short-range radio engineering systems in the form of a non-synchronous network. We assume that the range request signals are serviced by an open single-channel queuing system with refusing according to the service scheme of the first correctly received range request signal. © 2022 IEEE.

The problem of describing the basic model of maturity growth in project management is proposed. Models of maturity in project management are analyzed. The impact on the level of maturity of four types of models (competence, cognitive, foresight, and bi-Adaptive) was studied. Classification of stages of maturity is offered as a part of a preparatory, backbone, and advanced stage. A 4K model of organizational project management maturity growth is proposed. The influence of key elements of the 4K model on each level of maturity is considered. It is determined that competence and cognitive models are more important for achieving the preparatory and backbone maturity stage, for the advanced stage-foresight and bi-Adaptive models. The principles of implementation of the 4K model have been identified. The results of an experimental study of the influence of the 4K model on the development of maturity are presented. SWOT analysis of the proposed approach was performed. The expediency of using the 4K model to increase the maturity of project-oriented companies is justified. Areas of further research in the chosen direction are identified. © 2021 IEEE.

The article presents an innovative approach to the rehabilitation process for patients with joint endoprosthetics, focusing on the integration of a specialized software module based on computer vision technologies and the ontological approach. Developed for the Federal Centre for Traumatology, Orthopaedics, and Endoprosthesis in Smolensk, Russia, this system is designed to improve the quality of life for patients by offering personalized rehabilitation plans. The core of the study lies in the application of ontological models and meta-associative graphs for synthesizing individual rehabilitation plans, which streamline the recovery process and reduce the workload on healthcare professionals. This method allows for the processing of large amounts of information, providing detailed conclusions and recommendations for functional correction of the musculoskeletal system. The software utilizes computer vision to analyze patient movement and develop tailored rehabilitation strategies, overcoming the limitations of traditional diagnostic tools like MRI, which may not be suitable for all patients. By incorporating artificial intelligence and augmented reality, the system enhances the accuracy of patient assessments and the effectiveness of rehabilitation plans. Furthermore, the article discusses the application of this technology in the educational process at the Belarusian-Russian University, where students are introduced to cutting-edge software tools that assist in creating personalized rehabilitation plans. This educational integration not only enriches the students' learning experience but also fosters innovation in the development of new applications for computer vision in medical rehabilitation. The ontological approach, combined with modern technology, represents a significant advancement in the management of musculoskeletal system diseases, offering a more efficient, personalized approach to rehabilitation and recovery. © 2024 IEEE.

The paper proposes the model and the method of forming a mosaic sustainable marker of augmented reality. The advantages and disadvantages of existing augmented reality markers have been analyzed. The basic requirements for augmented reality marker are formulated. The basic stages of building a mosaic sustainable marker of augmented reality are offered. The conformity of the marker with the formulated requirements was checked. Marker recognition accuracy is substantiated, the minimum value of the parameter under which the robustness condition is ensured. The relation, which defines the accuracy of recognition of the AR-marker, taking into account the fact that only part of the pixels are recognized correctly, is specified.
