Spinel cubic ferrites have huge applications in me mory and high frequency *** the improvement of these modern devices,the magnetic coercivity,permeability,and dielectric properties of a ferrite are the important *** article focuses on improving the magnetic coercivity,magnetic permeability,and dielectric properties of Co_(0.2)Zn_(0.3)Ni_(0.5)Eu_(x)Fe_(2-x)O_(4) ferrites,where x=0.00,0.06,and *** X-ray diffraction(XRD),Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy(FTIR),field emission scanning electron microscopy(FESEM),energy dispersive X-ray(EDX),vibrating sample magnetometer(VSM),and an impedance analyzer were used to characterize the structural,magnetic,and dielectric properties of the *** XRD patterns indicate the formation of spinel cubic structure of the samples with a secondary peak(EuFeO_(3))for Eu doped *** densities and porosities of the samples follow an inverse trend,where the doped samples’lattice parameters are increased with the increment of rare earth Eu *** FTIR analysis also proves the spinel cubic phase of the *** average grain size of the ferrites is obtained via FESEM images,and it is increased from 121 to 198 *** analysis confirms that doping of the Eu content also changes other hysteresis loop properties of Co_(0.2)Zn_(0.3)Ni_(0.5)Eu_(x)Fe_(2-x)O_(4) ***,the coercivity of the Eu doped samples is greater than that of the mother alloy(x=0.00).The EDX study shows that there is no impurity contamination in the *** permeability and dielectric measurements show an improved quality factor of the Eu-doped samples with low magnetic and dielectric *** dependent resistivity and impedance analysis also show the improved *** the observed properties of the samples,all the investigated ferrites might be strong candidates for potential applications in memory devices,magnetic sensors,and high frequency applications.

We propose MarSelHR, a haplotype reconstruction system, which is a combination of LD based block partitioning with Clark's algorithm. MarSelHR uses less CPU processing time than other haplotype reconstruction systems, and makes possible large-scale data processing using less memory through block unit processing. Furthermore, MarSelHR involves biological meaning through LD based partitioning and is able to result in more precise inference.

Tremendous advancements in embedded systems, sensors and wireless communications technology have made it possible to build large-scale wireless sensor networks (WSNs). Due to their potential applications, WSNs have attracted significant attention to the industry, academic, and government organizations. In particular, by commanding a large number of distributed and coordinated sensor nodes, WSNs can effectively act as the human-physical world interface in future digital world through sensing and actuating. However, the inherent characteristics of WSNs typified by extremely scarce resources (e.g., bandwidth, CPU, memory and battery power), high degree of uncertainty, and lack of centralized control pose significant challenges in providing the desired quality, information assurance, reliability, and security. This is particularly important for mission critical applications that involve information intensive WSNs including video sensors. In this talk, we will examine the uncertainty-driven unique challenges and key research problems in information intensive wireless sensor networks in the areas of aggregation, clustering, routing, data dissemination, coverage and connectivity, and security. We will present our novel solutions to some of these problems and conclude with future directions.

This paper aims to track multiple people in a multicamera system for cluttered environment which can be divided into two important parts: one is tracking multiple people in a single camera environment, and the other is tracking multiple people in a multi-camera environment. In a single camera environment, we apply the motion detector and the ellipse algorithm to detect a new person intruding the surveillance area. Then, we utilize the template matching and the ellipse matching to track the person. To prevent tracking failure when people cross over each other, we include the hereby proposed joint visual probabilistic data association filter (JVPDAF) to track multiple people successfully. In a multi-camera environment, the major problem is to determine whether the new person intruding into some surveillance area of a camera is an identified person by some other camera or not. To resolve the aforementioned problem, we propose an approach called consistence labeling. After such labeling process, we track this person by the JVPDA algorithm. Finally, effectiveness of this tracking algorithm is validated via extensive experiments

Blind watermarking method is proposed to evaluate data embedding techniques for H.264 video signals with robustness against various signal processing functions. H.264 is a new advanced standard. The applications of video on Internet or wireless networks become very popular nowadays. However, these digital contents can be easily modified and copied by end users. Hence copyright protection, copy protection and integrity verification have become important issues in recent years. In the proposed system, block polarity and index modulation are used to achieve blind watermark detection. The block polarity is determined based on the nonzero quantized DC coefficient in each 4times4 integer DCT block. The block index is the pseudo-quantized block activity that is represented by the sum of magnitude of quantized AC coefficients. The block index modulation is performed based on the watermark and the blocks polarity. The watermark embedding is performed by the index modulation, which modifies the quantized AC coefficient values by a small amount to force the activity to be quantized into a specific region. Simulation results show that the proposed method performs well, and extracts embedding watermark without the original video signal. Additionally, the algorithm is not very complex and appropriate for real-time applications

In this report, high-quality indium zinc oxide (IZO) films (60-220 nm) were first grown on hardness poly-carbonate (HPC) substrate by ion-assisted deposition (IAD) dc magnetron sputtering without a post deposition annealing treatment. The electrical, optical, and structural properties of these films were investigated as a function of substrate temperature, oxygen pressure, and film thickness. IAD dc magnetron sputtering provides very uniform IZO films with high transparency (≥ 80% in 550 nm spectrum) and low electrical resistivity (3×10 -4 Ω-cm). The Hall mobility and carrier density for a 120-nm-thick film at 100 W are 12 cm 2 /V-s and 2.5×10 21 cm -3 , respectively. Atomic force microscopy measurements of the IZO films indicated that their root mean-square values (R MS ~ 0.44-0.69 nm) are superior to that (~4 nm) of commercially available indium tin oxide (ITO) films deposited by sputtering. Next, IZO films grown at low temperature by IAD dc magnetron sputtering were used to study the electroluminescence (EL) performance of organic light-emitting devices (OLEDs). Under a current density of 100 (mA/cm 2 ), the developed OLEDs show an excellent efficiency (12 V turn-on voltage) and a luminance of 1200 (cd/m 2 ) in average, which is better than that measured with commercial ITO anodes and well above the electro-optical application standard.

The coconut industry of our Indian nation contributes an extensive range of economy to the national GDP. About 19,247 million coconuts, or 31.45% of the world's production, were produced in India in the year 2021-2022 making it the top producer. However, the coconut farmers face major challenges from a plethora of pests and diseases of coconut trees, and yield loss, which affects the farmers economically, standing around at 10-15%. Major pests, such as Rhinoceros beetles and red palm weevils, are highly destructible, in some scenarios leading even to the mortality of crops. In most of the cases, when trees that are affected need a cure, farmers have to climb the trees to put chemicals in crowns infested with the pests, exposing the farmers to harmful chemicals and risking severe injuries or permanent disabilities. As a solution, the proposed methodology involves the collection of extensive drone imagery from coconut plantations, followed by the annotation and preprocessing of the data. This work utilizes state-of-the-art deep learning models, including Unet, convolutional neural networks (CNNs) for semantic segmentation, to differentiate coconut trees from the background and other vegetation. Subsequently, machine learning classifiers are employed to diagnose diseases by analyzing visual symptoms present in the segmented trees. The proposed approach offers significant improvements in accuracy and efficiency compared with other traditional manual methods, providing real-time insights into tree health and disease management. This system has the potential to enhance crop monitoring, optimize resource allocation, and ultimately increase agricultural productivity. © 2024 IEEE.

This study tries to apply wireless technologies to build a highly interactive environment. For this purpose, this study first identifies four types of interaction between the members in the technology-embedded classroom contexts, including: (1) face-to-face interaction; (2) computer-mediated interaction: (3) human-computer interaction; and (4) personal device supported simultaneous group interaction. In our analysis, each type of interaction above has its advantages and limitations, and there is no one who can achieve all instructional goals. So, the second purpose of this study is to integrate wireless local area network (WLAN), electronic whiteboard, interactive classroom server, and resource and class management serve to build a highly interactive learning environment, which can support members to flexibly proceed any type of interaction to achieve specific instructional goals. Finally, this study integrates the learning environment design with one of traditional pedagogical models-the Jigsaw? Model to demonstrate how such highly interactive learning environment can best promote instructor's teaching and students' learning.

In this report, current-voltage (I/V) curves, output luminance of the OLEDs (organic light emitting diodes) with nitrogen (N 2 ) doped ETL (electron transport layer) have been studied in detail. Experimental results show that the turn on voltage and driving voltage of OLEDs with ETL evaporated in the optimum N 2 gas ambient pressure of 1times10 -4 torr are reduced from 3.5 V to 1 V and 7.7 V to 5.7 V, respectively. The significant improving mechanism has been illustrated comprehensively with a schematic energy diagram model.

The paper presents an information infrastructure for supporting Internet-based scalable e-business enterprises (ISEE). The information infrastructure is formed by a network of ISEE hubs, each of which has a number of replicable e-business servers providing various e-services to individuals and businesses. The servers are the implementations of a number of core technologies developed to facilitate collaborative e-business, including business event and rule management, active distributed objects, constraint satisfaction processing, and cost benefit analysis and selection. Using the e-services provided by these servers, other e-services such as constraint-based brokering, supplier selection, active business process management, and automated negotiation can be developed. Supply chain management is used as an example of collaborative e-business in the descriptions of these technologies and their implementations.
