In this paper a general architecture of tightly-coupled integrated LR-WPAN/Wi MAX network has been introduced by proposing and utilising a novel access router named Wireless Integrated Access Router(WIAR). The suggested access router effectively combines both Wi MAX and LR-WPAN technologies in a same device. The main motivation to propose this integration is to deploy Internet of Things(Io T) applications and services in wide area networks. Using Wi MAX as backhaul service, the Internet connection can be provided for dispersed mobile LR-WPAN users over a wide area. Moreover, it enables to access all collected data in the local LR-WPAN coverage area – which is named as Senspot in this paper – by third-party clients through the Internet. Furthermore, an analytic model has been developed for the integrated network to evaluate the system's performance. Theoretical results on blocking probability of new and handover calls from Wi MAX subscribers, as well as new connections from LR-WPAN Senspots in a cell of Wi MAX have been investigated in terms of call/connection rates and number of allocated channels.

The pulse rate in the human species is a significant factor in oriental medicine. Pulse wave is a potential energy which has been generated by main artery expansion from the left ventricle, transforms into kinetic energy and passes through the vessel wall to the peripheral nervous system. In this paper, observations of patterns will be used to determine the blood circulation pulse wave which has been differentiated twice through the process of APG (Accelerated Photoplethysmo Graph). Moreover in this paper, it proposed the algorithm which diagnoses the patient's health condition using intelligence method. © 2011 Springer-Verlag.

Reconfigurable intelligent surfaces (RISs) play a crucial role in improving the coverage and efficiency of millimeter-wave (mmWave) communication systems for Internet of Things (IoT) networks by enhancing signal strength and reducing interference. However, to fully exploit their potential, mathematical models and optimization algorithms are needed to optimize the RIS configuration and control. In this work, we present a mathematical model and optimization algorithm for RIS-aided mmWave communication systems. This paper proposes a mathematical model to capture the effects of RISs on mmWave communication channels, including equations for channel estimation and prediction. We also develop an opti-mization problem to maximize the system throughput, along with a model for optimizing the RIS phase shift using the alternating projection phase shift algorithm. The power allocation algorithm for the mmWave base station is presented using the Karush-Kuhn-Tucker (KKT) approach. Finally, we perform simulations to validate the proposed solution and compare it with ideal and random phase shift solutions. The results show that our proposed solution performs close to the ideal solution, demonstrating the effectiveness of the proposed mathematical model and optimization algorithm.

Approximate cells can be used to design Ripple Carry Adders (RCAs) for realizing approximate addition in energy-efficient CMOS digital circuits. As inputs of approximate cells could be non-commutative in nature, approximate adders may show different output values under a commutative operation, and this may have a significant effect on the generated sum. This paper presents a detailed analysis of the commutative addition in RCAs made of different approximate cells. Initially, the impact of a non-commutative addition (NCA) to RCAs by approximate cells is assessed by exhaustive simulation at adder level. The results show that at most 17% of additions executed using AFA3 suffer from the non-commutative property, while the values for other adder cells can reach 75%~99%. Then, an extensive analysis using images from a publicly available library is performed by comparing three-image additions with two-image additions. As a further evaluation, the adders are assessed in an image denoising application. As expected, the effect of NCA is especially pronounced for some non-commutative adders, such as AA2 and AMA4. NCA is also cumulative with the number of approximate additions, thereby causing a significant variation in the output image quality. In terms of metrics, the largest average difference in mean error distance (DMED) for three-image addition is 5.3 times higher than for two-image addition. Rankings of the non-commutative approximate adders show that AMA3 and AFA1 based adders are the best schemes with respect to commutative addition;they both also show good performance in image denoising. © 2022, CC BY-NC-SA.

The Internet of Things (IoT) is an open network model that aims to build and link the interactions between the devices and links. Conventional blockchain models aimed at increasing scalability but often it is limited by its capacity and performance. The machine learning algorithms aim to determine the parameters of the blockchain that finds the optimal value required to obtain an increased scalability without any limitations in its performance. In this paper, a machine learning model called Block Chain-Support Vector Machine (BC-SVM) is integrated with the blockchain to improve the process of communication in a secure way. Here Modified elliptic-curve cryptography (ECC) is a public key encryption technique based on elliptic curve theory and may be utilised for creating cryptographic keys more quickly and efficiently, increasing security. The machine learning model optimizes the necessary security parameters required to transfer the data in a secure way. The experimental validation shows an increased scalable task allocation than its predecessors. © 2024

This has created a huge market for Cloud service providers like AWS, Azure, Google etc. Cloud computing services are usually sorted into three groups SaaS, PaaS and IaaS. Each service belongs to a specified group and is offered at specific prices. The Cloud service providers (CSP's) offer services in small modules, and users feel their investment is low; on the other hand, these CSP's provision resources in a manner to maximize their revenues in the context of cloud resource management.

Audio-visual active speaker detection (AVASD) is well-developed, and now is an indispensable front-end for several multi-modal applications. However, to the best of our knowledge, the adversarial robustness of AVASD models hasn't been investigated, not to mention the effective defense against such attacks. In this paper, we are the first to reveal the vulnerability of AVASD models under audio-only, visual-only, and audio-visual adversarial attacks through extensive experiments. What's more, we also propose a novel audiovisual interaction loss (AVIL) for making attackers difficult to find feasible adversarial examples under an allocated attack budget. The loss aims at pushing the inter-class embeddings to be dispersed, namely non-speech and speech clusters, sufficiently disentangled, and pulling the intra-class embeddings as close as possible to keep them compact. Experimental results show the AVIL outperforms the adversarial training by 33.14 mAP (%) under multi-modal attacks. © 2022, CC0.

The micro grid structure creates a new distribution network that includes multiple power sources in place of the conventional distribution infrastructure with a radial network and one power source. An autonomous or grid-connected micro grid may be identified based on the degree of connection it has with the main grid. Since there is no link to the main grid in an isolated micro grid, the micro grid must be self-sufficient. This kind of micro grid functions as a miniature power system, complete with generating, transmission, and distribution components. The accessibility of local energy supplies is the primary factor driving isolated micro grids. In order to improve the isolated operating of the micro grid, this research presents a comparative analysis of introducing wind or photovoltaic (PV) energy sources to the micro grid. The research compares adding the same amount of wind or photovoltaic energy to the self-sufficient microgrid. The two primary parameters that are compared are the quantity of energy that is not given to the load and the duration of time that certain loads are shredded. We'll examine in-depth a standard case analysis of the micro grid system in Jaipur, India. We will offer a simulation model that computes the electrical power production for both PV and wind energy systems based on real data collected at the site about variations in environmental conditions. MATLAB was used to develop the model so that it could be used anywhere in the globe. The evolution of the current electrical networks towards an environmentally friendly distribution network system will lead to the incorporation of the micro grid system with renewable energy resources. The final findings are shown, demonstrating how solar or wind energy affects the micro grid's isolated functioning.

A Software-Defined Network (SDN) architecture was proposed to enhance the performance, flexibility and scalability of networks. However, SDN features such as centralized controlling, network programmability and virtualization present new security challenges to networks. This article will address security challenges related to SDN connection data transfer channels (i.e., control layer and infrastructure layer) and propose a novel connection data transfer channels architecture based on an OpenFlow protocol. Existing SDN OpenFlow protocols rely on higher layer secure mechanisms such as TLS (Transport Layer Security) / SSL (Secure Sockets Layer) sessions. It is concluded that the transfer of secured data using elliptical curve encryption provides a more efficient SDN network. The proposed architecture was implemented in a testbed and its security features were analyzed.
