Internet banking has their separate account for users and is managed by Banks or retail store. The aim of this paper is to detect and prevent fraud in case of internet banking using Hidden Markov Model algorithm. At the same time, we have tried to ensure that genuine transactions are not rejected by making use of one time password that was generated by the Bank server and sent to the particular customers through SMS to their Mobile number which is registered in the system. Banks are seeking to minimize huge losses through fraud detection and prevention systems. Many different advanced fraud technologies are being applied to fraudulent Internet banking transactions detection and prevention. However, they have no effective detection mechanism to identify legitimate users and trace their unlawful activities. We propose a model to overcome all these difficulties using Hidden Markov Model.

Now, almost everyone has access to a mobile device, and with latest generation mobile devices the possibilities for offering new information services are endless. However, the existing navigation systems providing services and information on the city's traffic are not real-time, complete and the localized information may be not “customized” enough. Moreover, the services should be more user friendly, more efficiently and dynamic. Therefore, in this paper we present a Customized Navigation Systems with Mobile Devices of Public Transport based on our life. To accomplish these goals, our systems separate three sub-systems to implementation. The systems open up new opportunities for delivering quality public transport services, achieve minimize the passengers' cost, and user can tag or write note in map creating a own map, providing location-based services for users to help those in unfamiliar areas and real-time updates and improve operational practice; they contribute towards “greener travel choices” by making public transport easier to understand and therefore more convenient.

In this paper we discuss a general approach and architecture for design of distributed cyber-physical systems in order to make them resilient to communication faults. In this approach, each node exploits physical connections between nodes to estimate some of the state parameters of the remote nodes in order to detect the faults and also to maintain stability of system after fault occurrence. Finally, based on this architecture and approach, a fault-resilient decentralized voltage control algorithm is presented and evaluated.

Energy competence is an imperative aspect to intend an extensive existence wireless sensor network. Several methods have been proposed to increase the battery lifetime of sensor nodes. One of the methods is sporadically turn off the radio receivers of the sensor nodes in a synchronized mode. The sleep and wake up mode are included with this corresponding nature. Arbitrarily elected node form virtual clusters based on universal snooze scheme. However, protocols resembling the extensively known S-MAC possibly will require some nodes to pursue several snooze schemes causing them to wake up more frequently than the other nodes. In this paper we present the wireless sensor networks by means of S-MACF (for S-MAC Fuzzy) where a significant amount of the nodes may have to stay awake much extended than expected. An adjustment of the protocol is then projected to get rid of the requirement for the nodes to keep on awake longer than the other nodes. The customized edition improves the energy efficiency and enhances the life length of a wireless sensor network (WSN).

In the IEEE 802.11MAC layer protocol, the basic access method is the Distributed Coordination Function which is based on the CSMA/CA. In this paper, we investigate the performance of IEEE 802.11 DCF in the non-saturation condition. We assume that there is a fixed number n of competing stations and packet arrival process to a station is a poisson process. We model IEEE 802.11 DCF in non-saturation mode by 3-dimensional Markov chain and derive the stationary distribution of the Markov chain by applying matrix analytic method. We obtain the probability generating function of packet service time and access delay, and throughput.

The ubiquity of the multimedia has raised a need for the system that can store, manage, structured the multimedia data in such a way that it can be retrieved intelligently. One of the current issues in media management or data mining research is ranking of retrieved documents. Ranking is one of the provocative problems for information retrieval systems. Given a user query comes up with the millions of relevant results but if the ranking function cannot rank it according to the relevancy than all results are just obsolete. However, the current ranking techniques are in the level of keyword matching. The ranking among the results is usually done by using the term frequency. This paper is concerned with ranking the document relying merely on the rich semantic inside the document instead of the contents. Our proposed ranking refinement strategy known as SemRank, rank the document based on the semantic intensity. Our approach has been applied on the open benchmark LabelMe dataset and compared against one of the well known ranking model i.e. Vector Space Model (VSM). The experimental results depicts that our approach has achieved significant improvement in retrieval performance over the state of the art ranking methods.

Wavelet networks are a class of neural network that take advantage of good localization properties of multi-resolution analysis and combine them with the approximation abilities of neural networks. This kind of networks uses wavelets as activation functions in the hidden layer and a type of back-propagation algorithm is used for its learning. However, the training procedure used for wavelet networks is based on the idea of continuous differentiable wavelets and some of the most powerful and used wavelets do not satisfy this property. In this paper we report an algorithm for initialising and training wavelet networks applied to the approximation of chaotic time series. The proposed algorithm which has its foundations on correlation analysis of signals allows the use of different types of wavelets, namely, Daubechies, Coiflets, and Symmlets. To show this, comparisons are made for chaotic time series approximation between the proposed approach and the typical wavelet network. © 2010 CRL Publishing Ltd.

The beautiful Alexandria is a welcoming place for East, West, North and South and serves as a major junction and convergence point for ICT (Information and Communication Technologies). The National science Foundation (NSF)-funded “Taj Network” has expanded to the Global Ring Network for Advanced Application Development (GLORIAD), wrapping another ring of light around the northern hemisphere for science and education. Taj now connects India, Singapore, Vietnam and Egypt to the GLORIAD global infrastructure and dramatically improves existing US network links. Taj will soon land a 1Gbps connection in Alexandria and GLORIAD-II is next. HONET tries to play an educational role among NRENs through collaborations with leading teams and researchers.

This paper proposes a system for decorating 2-dimensional barcode with some illustrations inside the code without detracting machine-readability and stored information. The proposed system formulates the task of finding appropriate positions, scales, and angles of illustrations, and solves the task by using real-coded genetic algorithm. The proposed system also uses multiple barcode decoder with the aim of improving decode feasibility of the decorated barcode. Experiments have shown that the proposed system can decorate barcodes with three illustrations, and that using more than one decoder can improve decoding feasibility of the decorated barcodes.

Recently a novel family of geometrically invariant features, called summation invariant, has been developed and applied to object recognition. The range of this family of features is expanded here beyond the Euclidean and affine transformation groups to planar projective transformations. Whereas other methods require small changes in view, or collinear points, this method removes those limitations and allows recognition of general planar objects over wide ranges of viewpoint. The derivation of these new features requires the innovation of deriving the invariants in the homogeneous coordinate space, yet yields results formulated in terms of Cartesian coordinates. Simulations demonstrate the effectiveness of this new approach to object recognition under projective transformations like those encountered in camera networks.
