DNA sequence classification is a major challenge in biological processing of data. The classification of DNA sequences is an important study field in bioinformatics since it allows researchers to perform genomic analysis. Through this research, we tried to analyze the performance of various machine learning (ML) algorithms in identifying DNA genes in humans and chimpanzees to find the most effective algorithm for classification of DNA sequences. The results of this research outperformed earlier studies, which had an accuracy around 98%. The dataset was preprocessed using k-mer counting, which assisted in finding key characteristics for the model's training. Naïve Bayes stood out, with an outstanding accuracy of 98.4% for human DNA and 91.4% for chimpanzee DNA. After improving the parameters, Naïve Bayes continued to improve, with human DNA accuracy increasing to 99% and chimpanzee DNA accuracy to 92% in all categories followed by Logistic Regression at 93.9% for human DNA sequences and Ridge Classifier at 90.2% for chimpanzee DNA sequences. K-Nearest Neighbors, Ridge Classifier, Logistic Regression, Decision Tree, Random Forest, Gradient Boosting, Extra Trees, XGBoost, and Naïve Bayes were among the algorithms tested, with accuracy, F1 score, precision, and recall used in assessing their performance. These findings highlight the necessity of selecting the appropriate models and tweaking their parameters to improve performance. © 2024 IEEE.

A major danger to rice farming, rice sheath rot disease affects the quantity and quality of one of the main food crops grown worldwide. This research uses a large dataset gathered from many sources, such as agricultural universities, research centres, and first hand field observations, to provide a unique method of diagnosing Rice Sheath Rot disease using cutting-edge deep learning algorithms. Our work is primarily focused on creating a dependable and effective diagnostic tool using state-of-the-art image processing and machine learning methods. Wavelet filters are applied in the first step of our approach to pre-process photos. This method is essential for eliminating noise and improving the quality of the dataset, which is made up of high-definition photos of rice plants with the disease Sheath Rot. The colour, shape, and texture of the sick spots are then analyzed using advanced feature extraction techniques. When separating plant tissues that are diseased from those that are not, these characteristics are essential. Convolutional Neural Networks (CNN), our primary diagnostic model's foundation, were selected due to their shown efficacy in picture recognition and classification applications. The preprocessed and feature-enhanced dataset is used to train the CNN model, giving it the ability to recognize the complex patterns and traits connected to Sheath Rot illness. The architecture of the model is built to maximize efficiency and accuracy, guaranteeing quick and accurate illness identification. By utilizing AI and deep learning, the proposed method seeks to not only help farmers and agronomists identify diseases early on but also make a substantial contribution to the area of agricultural disease diagnostics. Combine that our method, which combines CNN-based analysis with wavelet-filtered pre-processing establishes a new standard for the identification and treatment of Rice Sheath Rot disease. Malignancy in the breast is a significant public health concern, where timely identification is essential for effective treatment. Machine Learning (ML) and Deep Learning (DL) algorithms are potential tools for prompt detection og breast malignancy through examination of medical images such as mammograms. Convolutional neural networks (CNNs), transfer learning, and ensemble learning are some of the recent techniques being used in this field. Despite the advantages of ML and DL algorithms for breast cancer detection, there are still several challenges that need to be addressed. The lack of diversity in the datasets used to train algorithms is one major challenge, with many datasets based on specific populations that may not represent others. Highly annotated data is also limited in medical field. The objective of this study is to provide researchers with valuable insights and guidance. © 2023 IEEE.

In the age of cloud computing, data stored and processed in the cloud must be secure. This study examines how powerful machine learning can secure cloud computing data. Three trials assessed different machine learning models in this setting. Experiment 1 used a Random Forest model and achieved 95% accuracy, 0.92 precision, 0.96 recall, and 0.94 F1 Score. This shows that the model can accurately categorize security threats with a good balance of true and false positives. A Deep Neural Network (DNN) improved accuracy to 97% in Experiment 2. Precision, recall, and F1 Score values of 0.94, 0.98, and 0.96 demonstrate the DNN's ability to discriminate threats from normal activity. The model captures complicated patterns well, making it a powerful cloud security tool. Security analysis using reinforcement learning, specifically Q-learning, was introduced in Experiment 3. The model's 88% detection rate showed its capacity to identify threats, but its 0.05 false positive rate created a tradeoff between true and false positives. With the 0.12 false negative rate, one can infer improvements in threat detection accuracy. These results indicate that state-of-the-art machine learning is capable of protecting cloud data. The Random Forest and Deep Neural Network models have very high accuracy balanced with reasonable precision-recall trade-offs, whereas reinforcement learning through Qlearning shows promise but needs modification to improve the model's performance in terms of both accuracy and false positive rates. While rising threats need constant adaptation and learning, the model should also fulfill security needs. This study helps formulate a secure cloud computing infrastructure that can stand threats of change. © 2024 IEEE.

In today's world, healthcare system is improving day by day by using smart IoT based system. Blockchain based system is totally a decentralized system due to which attackers are unable to access the confidential records easily. Blockchain play an important role in controlling and management of sensitive information in healthcare system and insurance sector. Consensus mechanisms used in blockchain technology to validate whichever block is going to be added next in the blockchain network. In this paper we proposed a hybrid based system which solves trust issues arises in the blockchain. Hybrid consensus mechanism provides reputation according to the activities of blocks in a blockchain network. Four layer architecture is designed in Hybrid model. Five algorithms are used to create, validate, fork handling, reward and punishment scheme and Markle tree is constructed respectively. This model is implemented on Ethereum based platform which shows that HCM model is better than a PoXR model as it consume less memory (50 percent) and consume less CPU(below 2 percent). © 2023 IEEE.

This study explores the use of Genetic Algorithms (GA) to solve the NP-hard combinatorial optimization problem known as the Travelling Salesman Problem (TSP). The suggested GA, called GA-P, performs better than conventional techniques because it uses a new randomized crossover threshold. According to experimental assessments, GA-P outperforms a normal Genetic Algorithm with fixed crossover (GA-N, 628.6) and approaches the best Branch and Bound solutions (B&B, 560.6) with an average cost of 617.4 for 16-node graphs. With average execution times of 0.1347 seconds for 16 nodes, GA-P also demonstrates constant computational efficiency, outperforming B&B's exponentially growing temporal complexity (169.37 seconds for 16 nodes). In order to balance solution quality and computational cost, hyperparameter tweaking revealed the ideal values of population percentage (pp = 1.1), crossover proportion (cp = 0.8), mutation threshold (mt = 0.3), and exploration probability (ep = 0.2). The results show that GA-P is a scalable and efficient substitute for TSP, with room for improvement via parallelization and exploratory techniques. © 2025 IEEE.

Plasma dynamics is the behavior exhibited by two or more charged species with respect to electric or magnetic fields. In high-performance computing (HPC) applications, it requires all these factors: the accuracy of parallel implementations, effective inter-process communication, and scalability with respect to workload. This paper points out the limitations in the current approaches to the plasma dynamics problems, and discusses the use of MPI continuation tasks and of its performance enhancement with OpenMP methods. Within the framework of the Vlasov-Poisson system, we develop theory of MPI continuation and describe techniques optimal for its use, which allows to efficiently combine communication with computation, which is quite a difficult task in most of the cases, especially in the case of multidimensional simulations. The results allow better insights on how to increase the level of parallelism and reduce the time to compute, which in turn fosters the formulation of more effective high-performance strategies and also the understanding of the parallelism in plasma simulations using the MPI standard. © 2024 IEEE.

Earthquakes are the leading natural disasters that have caused loss of life and property since the formation of the world. Machine learning and deep learning are frequently used in studies for earthquake prediction. This article consists of a compilation of studies using machine learning and deep learning algorithms. In the article, studies on topics such as earthquake magnitude estimation, signal discrimination, electron density estimations in the ionosphere, examination of radon gas anomalies using machine learning and deep learning algorithms are included. The studies in this paper show that Deep Learning algorithms are used more frequently in earthquake forecasting. It is expected that Deep Learning will provide more successful results in future studies due to its ability to work with larger data sets compared to Machine Learning and its ability to improve itself from errors. © 2023 IEEE.

Cardiovascular disease (CVD) generic phrase used to describe heart or blood vessel illness. Conditions that impact the body's, brain's, or heart's blood flow. Reduced blood flow can result from factors such as blood clots, leading to heart attack, angina, or stroke. Other potential meanings of CVD. These models offer key benefits like clear interpretability and the ability to analyze complex patterns, significantly enhancing the accuracy of cardiovascular disease risk predictions. The demerits of using SVM, LR, K-NN, and MLP for CVD prediction include inter-pretability issues, overfitting risks, data requirements, feature selection challenges, scalability concerns, algorithm complexity, and class imbalance. Collaboration between machine learning experts and healthcare professionals is essential for developing accurate and reliable CVD prediction models that enhance patient care. CVD is a significant health threat, often leading to fatal complications. Early detection is crucial for effective intervention. This study employs SVM (accuracy is 0.84%), LR (accuracy is 0.86%), K-NN (accuracy is 0.94%), and MLP (accuracy is 0.79%) machine learning techniques to enhance CVD detection by addressing outliers and null values, contributing to advancing automatic detection initiatives. © 2024 IEEE.
