There has been a significant increase in interest towards "The electrification of transportation"in the past decade. The environmental crisis caused due to global warming and the depletion of oil supplies are factors that have made the automobile sector adopt strategies to produce eco-friendly, sustainable vehicles instead of their commercial fuel propelled vehicles. Most governments have expressed their interest in alleviating the environmental impact caused due to vehicle pollution by introducing various policies that eventually help people switch to Electric Vehicles (EV). Though there has been a surge of interest among people to adopt environmentally friendly, economically affordable electric vehicles, the major concern is the state of charge and range offered by these EVs. The global automobile sector has started to invest in research dedicated to the energy management system in EVs to overcome these issues. The emergence of artificial intelligence (AI) and the advancement of control systems are clear signs for developing smart-energy management systems in EV. This paper reviews the methods of energy storage and usage in EV following the various Energy Management Systems (EMS) present in EV such as Rule-based EMS and Optimization-based EMS and its types. Also, it gives an insight into the emergence of futuristic AI-based chips that would revolutionize the energy-management system in E-vehicles. © 2023 IEEE.

IoT-driven automatic vehicle accident rescue system implemented with Proteus is an inventive solution aimed at enhancing emergency response and rescue operations following vehicle accidents. Given the rising vehicle usage alongside population growth, the frequency of accidents has also surged over time, leading to unfortunate loss of life due to delays in ambulance arrival at accident scenes. Swift transportation of accident victims to medical facilities is of paramount importance. Upon occurrence of an accident, the proposed "IoT-driven automatic vehicle accident rescue system implemented with Proteus"immediately transmits accident details to the ambulance service, investigation unit, and designated emergency contacts. Simultaneously, the accident's precise location is shared via a Google Maps link to the users' smart devices equipped with mobile network connectivity. This facilitates efficient location identification for both ambulance services and police departments. Comprising elements such as accelerometers, GPS (Global Positioning System) modules, GSM (Global System for Mobile Communication) modules, motors, buzzers, LEDs, and more, the system seamlessly integrates these components with a central microcontroller unit using Proteus software. The core objective of this initiative revolves around two key goals: rescuing drivers involved in accidents and expediting victim recovery during the critical early stages of mishaps. © 2023 IEEE.

There is still a serious problem with credit card fraud in the world of financial transactions, requiring innovative solutions to effectively detect and halt illicit behavior. This research presents a unique method of detecting credit card fraud by strategically implementing early pausing in a Long Short-Term Memory (LSTM) neural network. Leveraging the sequential dependencies inherent in transaction data, the LSTM model demonstrates remarkable efficacy in discerning fraudulent from legitimate transactions. The early stopping mechanism ensures that the model's training halts at the optimal epoch, preventing over fitting and enhancing generalization. Our thorough analysis highlights the model's versatility by demonstrating a dynamic compromise between recall and accuracy throughout training. Practical implications include enhanced fraud detection accuracy, reduced false alarms, and real-time decision support for financial institutions. The model's adaptability and generalization make it a valuable asset in the ongoing battle against credit card fraud, contributing to a more secure financial environment. Future research directions may explore additional features and alternative architectures to further advance fraud detection capabilities. © 2024 IEEE.

The only way to prevent blindness from eye problems is by early detection and prompt treatment. Although colour fundus photography (CFP) is useful for fundus inspection, there is a need for computer-assisted automated diagnosis tools due to the similarities between the early symptoms of many eye disorders. The suggested approach uses cutting-edge deep learning model to categorize images into several disease categories by learning distinguishing features from the input images. The high-resolution fundus photos from individuals with diabetic retinopathy (DR), glaucoma, cataract, and healthy eyes make up most of the dataset used for this research. The experimental findings show that the suggested system achieve 97% accuracy with modified efficientNetB3 model and surpasses current approaches for categorizing eye diseases. This approach may help doctors diagnose and treat eye conditions earlier, leading to better patient outcomes. © 2023 IEEE.

Some of the well-known signature techniques like Winternitz and Lamport are not considered to be very appropriate for the usage of hashing or smart contracts in Blockchains security because of their size O(n²), which is prominently too high. Although in Blockchain, the security concern is on the top priority because of its distributed P2P design still, the security enhancement is required to sign and verify the documents forwarded to the peers, especially in Hyperledger Fabric. Here, this paper presents a new signature technique “Block-Hash” to enhance Blockchain security by using it in smart contracts as well as hashing with size 3Xn bits (n = 256, generally for SHA-256 Hashing) and which can score 112 bits security. The proposed signature can be used appropriately for signing a smart contract by the endorser or committer node. Also, it can be used with a hash algorithm in forming a Merkle tree. Apart from the description and implementation of Block-Hash Signature, this paper has covered the analysis of its security and correctness measures with a table for result comparison. © 2023 River Publishers.

By providing enhanced accuracy and fluency compared to traditional approaches, Neural Machine Translation (NMT) has transformed the area of machine translation. In this research paper, the specific task of translating English to Hindi using NMT techniques is discussed. Creation and assessment of NMT systems developed for this language pair, considering the linguistic complexities and cultural aspects inherent in English and Hindi is examined. Leveraging large-scale parallel corpora and advanced neural network architectures, this work proposes novel approaches to improve translation quality and efficiency. Experimental results evaluated using standard metrics such as BLEU score, shows the efficacy of the proposed NMT models in accurately capturing the semantics and preserving the naturalness of the translated text. Additionally, this study discusses the implications of findings for cross-language communication and access to information, particularly in the context of the growing importance of Hindi in a globalized digital domain. Overall, this research contributes to develop neural machine translation for English to Hindi to a higher level and highlights the potential of NMT in facilitating multilingual communication and knowledge dissemination. © 2024 IEEE.

Foreign exchange trading basically bridges a gap between buyer and seller to transact at a set of prices of the currencies to make profit out of it by the traders and investors. In this paper, foreign exchange predictive models are explored based on basic Extreme Learning Machine (ELM) along with optimized version of ELM. Initially, this work tried to obtain the best optimized ELM network based upon the four nature-inspired optimization methodologies such as;particle swarm, ant colony, moth flame and grey wolf optimization (GWO). From this phase, it has been observed that the ELM network optimized with GWO outperforms rest of other experimented optimized ELM networks with respect to error graphs and performance metrics. In order to evaluate the performance, the ELM-GWO currency exchange predictor, the recognition performance metrics such as;EVS, MAE, MSE and R2 Score are computed, the error graphs are obtained and the average computational time taken are compared. © 2024 IEEE.
