Autonomous vehicles are poised to revolutionize the transportation industry by offering safer and more efficient navigation in dynamic environments. A critical challenge is managing interactions with other vehicles, pedestrians, and road obstacles, which complicates framing autonomous driving as a supervised learning problem. This study leverages Deep Q-Networks (DQN), a reinforcement learning technique, to control steering, throttle, and braking in autonomous vehicles. The DQN approach enables vehicles to autonomously learn and improve driving strategies, thereby enhancing their ability to navigate complex traffic scenarios effectively. Our objective is to train a model using a Deep Reinforcement Learning (DRL) algorithm, guiding the vehicle to adhere to a predetermined itinerary while adapting to real-time traffic conditions. This work emphasizes the potential of reinforcement learning for enabling continuous learning and adaptation in complex traffic scenarios, laying the groundwork for more reliable and adaptive autonomous driving systems. © 2025 IEEE.

Blockchain technology has become more widespread in our lives revolutionizing various industries through improved security, transparency, and operational efficiency. Its decentralized ledger system is particularly effective in areas like finance and supply chain management ensuring data integrity and reducing the need for middlemen. This study explores how blockchain technology is used in the process of buying vehicles highlighting its benefits compared to methods. Traditional vehicle purchases involve a network of dealers, banks and regulators leading to inefficiencies, higher costs and potential fraud. The usual process involves steps like financing checking vehicle history and changing ownership. Each requiring extensive paperwork and third-party intervention. In contrast using blockchain for vehicle purchases can simplify things through contracts that automate tasks like verifying history securely transferring ownership instantly settling payments. The unchangeable nature of records ensures that all transaction data remains secure against tampering fostering trust between buyers and sellers. Furthermore, blockchain can cut costs significantly by removing the need for middlemen such, as escrow services and title companies while reducing burdens. The advanced security elements built into technology help reduce the chances of fraudulent actions like altering odometer readings or selling stolen cars. This study showcases a comparison illustrating how blockchain can simplify the process of buying vehicles offering an economical and secure experience. © 2025 IEEE.

This study explores the use of Natural Language Processing (NLP) approach to predict Myers-Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI) personality types from Twitter texts. Initially, we approached the problem as a 16-class classification task, but encountered significant challenges due to the lack of instances representing certain class labels adequately. To address this, we decomposed the MBTI types into four dimensions and trained individual classifiers for each dimension. Leveraging the best performing classifiers, we constructed a stacking ensemble model to predict personality classes corresponding to each dimension. The results demonstrate improved accuracy compared to the initial 16-class classification approach. Additionally, the performance of ensemble model is found to be better than the individual classifiers. Thus, ensemble approach paired with the separate dimension based classification method can be used for effective prediction of personality types for psychological profiling. © 2025 IEEE.

The rapid expansion of cloud computing has led to increased energy consumption, raising concerns about its environmental impact. Despite advancements in scheduling algorithms, existing methods face critical challenges, including suboptimal energy efficiency, limited adaptability to dynamic cloud environments, and insufficient context-aware decision-making. Recent techniques, such as Meta Reinforcement Learning, Genetic Algorithms, and Energy-Aware Scheduling, show potential but often struggle with high computational complexity, static resource allocation, or scalability issues. These shortcomings result in inefficient resource utilization, elevated energy usage, and difficulties in meeting Service Level Agreement (SLA) requirements. To address these challenges, this study introduces the Energy Efficient Semantic Scheduling Framework (ESSF), a novel approach combining semantic reasoning and energy profiling to optimize task scheduling in dynamic cloud environments. The framework integrates three key components: (1) Dynamic Energy Profiling (DEP) for real-time energy monitoring, (2) Semantic Resource Matching (SRM) utilizing knowledge graphs for context-aware allocation, and (3) Adaptive Workload Balancing (AWB) to dynamically redistribute tasks for improved resource utilization and energy efficiency. Experiments using the Google Cluster Trace Dataset demonstrate that ESSF reduces energy consumption by up to 25% compared to traditional methods while achieving 90% resource utilization and 97% SLA compliance. These results highlight the potential of the proposed framework to overcome existing limitations, offering a scalable, adaptive, and environmentally sustainable solution for task scheduling in cloud computing. © 2025 IEEE.

Object detection in surveillance systems leverages advanced deep learning techniques to enhance security measures through real-time analysis of dynamic video feeds. This project integrates the YOLOv5 model for detecting weapons in both pre-recorded videos and live camera feeds. The model, trained on a dataset with 4000 images labeled for handguns and knives, utilizes image preprocessing steps such as resizing, normalization, and augmentation to improve detection accuracy. Implementing the system with OpenCV and Tkinter, the application processes video streams, identifying potential threats with high precision rate of 0.85 and recall rate of 0.90. The integration of a graphical user interface ensures user-friendly operation for security personnel. Key outcomes demonstrate the efficacy of deep learning models in real-time object detection, significantly contributing to proactive surveillance and enhanced situational awareness. © 2025 IEEE.

Effective monitoring of the environment over a large area will require mobilization of a considerable amount of information. Otherwise, the use of traditional methods will prove to be costly and would take up so much time. Also, assessing the land cover changes between two times is one of the other methods which can be adopted to measure the environmental sustainability. Using ML techniques for predictive modeling in remote sensing has emerged as a useful approach in solving some of the environmental and climatic challenges. This research proposes a novel method in remote sensing image-based climate detection utilizing cloud computing and machine learning algorithms. Here, the cloud computing module is used in the collection of remote sensing images for the detection of climate changes. Then, the collected image is processed for noise removal as well as normalization. The processed image is segmented, and features are extracted utilizing a fuzzy K-clustering-based contour Gaussian model with graph cut Boltzmann CNN. Experimental analysis is carried out for various remote sensing-based climate change datasets in terms of training accuracy, random precision, AUC, recall, and F-measure. The proposed technique obtained 97% of training accuracy, 95% of random precision, 96% of recall, 93% of AUC, and 94% of F-measure. © The Author(s), under exclusive licence to Springer Nature Switzerland AG 2025.

Face recognition technology has dramatically trans-formed the landscape of security, surveillance, and authentication systems, offering a user-friendly and non-invasive biometric solution. However, despite its significant advantages, face recognition systems face increasing threats from physical and digital spoofing attacks. Current research typically treats face recognition and attack detection as distinct classification challenges. This approach necessitates the implementation of separate models for each task, leading to considerable computational complexity, particularly on devices with limited resources. Such inefficiencies can stifle scalability and hinder performance. In response to these challenges, this paper introduces an innovative unified model designed for face recognition and detection of physical and digital attacks. By leveraging the advanced Swin Transformer backbone and incorporating Hil:o attention in a convolutional neural network framework, we address unified face recognition and spoof attack detection more effectively. Moreover, we introduce augmentation techniques that replicate the traits of physical and digital spoofing cues, significantly enhancing our model ro-bustness. Through comprehensive experimental evaluation across various datasets, we showcase the effectiveness of our model in unified face recognition and spoof detection. Additionally, we confirm its resilience against unseen physical and digital spoofing attacks, underscoring its potential for real-world applications. © 2025 IEEE.

The exponential growth in online education has increased the demand for automated systems to ensure academic integrity during online examinations. A real-time proctoring system addresses this need by monitoring a student's eye gaze and head movements during an exam. This system leverages Dlib's pre-trained frontal face detector and 68-point facial landmark predictor to detect facial features and track the direction of eye movement and head position. By analyzing these metrics, the system can flag behaviors associated with potential cheating, such as looking away from the screen for extended periods. This paper discusses the design and implementation of the proctoring system, details the detection algorithms, and evaluates its effectiveness for real-time monitoring. © 2025 IEEE.

By examining patterns in the text data and metadata linked to job adverts, The use of learning algorithms has grown in popularity in the detection of fraudulent job postings. For this, Research Machine emphasises the application of a number of algorithms, such as Naive Bayes and Random Forest, Together with models for deep learning, like CNN and Bidirectional LSTM, and AdaBoost. To extract useful features These techniques depend on text preparation techniques such as lemmatisation, tokenisation, and TF-IDF vectorisation. To differentiate between authentic and fraudulent posts, models are instructed in datasets and evaluated using measures such as accuracy, accuracy, memory, and F1-score. Advanced classifiers and group techniques have proven to be quite successful in enhancing detection performance while lowering false positives and negatives. © 2025 IEEE.

The global challenge of diabetes demands innovative approaches for early diagnosis and effective management. This paper investigates the integration of advanced dimensionality reduction and feature selection techniques to improve diabetes prediction models. Utilizing Principal Component Analysis (PCA) and the Artificial Bee Colony (ABC) algorithm, the study focuses on optimizing feature selection to enhance model accuracy, computational efficiency, and interpretability. Employing two diverse datasets - the Behavioral Risk Factor Surveillance System (BRFSS) and the Pima Indians Diabetes Dataset - the research evaluates the performance of Random Forest and Logistic Regression models. Results reveal significant improvements in predictive accuracy and computational efficiency, particularly with ABC-selected features, reducing feature dimensionality while maintaining high accuracy. This study underscores the potential of combining PCA and ABC to revolutionize predictive healthcare analytics, offering robust tools for diabetes management and prevention. © 2025 IEEE.
