Biomedical literature lacks integration of dynamic drug interaction data for personalized prescriptions. This proposed work is a new hybrid model that enhances drug safety prescriptions by taking into account individual patient features and drug interactions. It does this by hybrid attention mechanisms with Bayesian Decision Theory (BDT), which employs Bayesian statistical thinking instead of the dot-product approach. This approach is driven by the growing complexity of patient profiles and the limitations of current algorithms, which often fail to dynamically change the relevance of individual aspects. This method seeks 94% accuracy, effectively prioritizing safer drug combinations and personalizing drug recommendations. This integration leads to more consistent and customized drug prescriptions, which ultimately improve patient outcomes and advance the field of personalized healthcare. © 2024 IEEE.

The process of a supply chain involves a series of activities that distribute, assemble, and manage products, transferring them from the supplier to the end consumer. It operates as a complex, interconnected network regulated by supply and demand. Security in supply chain management is a crucial aspect of its overall security measures, focusing primarily on maintaining essential end-to-end protection. Without this, several attacks can be used to manipulate data and valuable information from the entire chain of networks. This paper explains how encrypted intermediates can secure the entire SCM by validating each intermediate using public-private key encryption. We also demonstrate and assess how the proposed AAF-SCM model can aid in tracing security breaches or unauthorized data tampering. We also validate this model against nefarious attacks like Fabrication, Assertion, Deletion, and Modification. Finally, we propose opportunities to develop innovative systems that enhance security through intermediary steps. © 2024 IEEE.

In the realm of robotics and autonomous systems, efficient path planning is a critical aspect for optimizing resource utilization and achieving mission objectives. This study explores the application of Ant Colony Optimized (ACO) algorithms to enhance the efficiency of robots in navigating and exploring unknown environments. Inspired by the foraging behavior of ants, ACO algorithms are employed to find the shortest paths by leveraging pheromone communication and decentralized decision-making. Ant Colony Optimization is then introduced as a bio-inspired solution to address these challenges. The experimental results demonstrate the capability of the ACO algorithm to efficiently explore complex environments, adapt to changes in the surroundings, and converge to optimal paths. Insights gained from these analyses contribute to the refinement of the ACO algorithm for diverse robotic applications. The findings of this research have practical implications for the development of autonomous robots operating in real-world scenarios, such as search and rescue missions, environmental monitoring, and surveillance. This study provides a valuable foundation for the integration of bio-inspired algorithms in robotics, advancing the state-of-the-art in autonomous exploration and path planning. © 2024 IEEE.

Nowadays due to increasing cases of evidence alteration the need of a robust evidence protection system is increasing rapidly. This paper presents an innovative solution that combines the InterPlanetary File System (IPFS) with blockchain technology to enhance the security, immutability, and transparency of evidential data obtained from crime *** proposed system initiates by utilizing IPFS, a decentralized and distributed file storage protocol, to securely store multimedia evidence, such as photographs. The content-addressed nature of IPFS guarantees tamper-resistant storage, making it an ideal choice for preserving the integrity of sensitive evidentiary materials. The IPFS addresses obtained from IPFS are then embedded within the blockchain, establishing a decentralized and verifiable link between the evidence and its storage location. We use multi-signature wallet to upload the data on blockchain so that we can make it more secure and monitored about who is uploading evidence state data. To verify links and integrity of evidence usage we set up a system of periodical updates of state of evidence whenever accessed. These updates serve as a mechanism to record the state of the evidence at different points in time, adding an additional layer of reliability and accountability. © 2024 IEEE.

Women in computing were among the first programmers in the early 20th century and were substantial contributors to the industry. Today, men dominate the software engineering industry. Research and data show that women are far less likely to pursue a career in this industry, and those that do are less likely than men to stay in it. Reasons for women and other underrepresented minorities to leave the industry are a lack of opportunities for growth and advancement, unfair treatment and workplace culture. This research explores how the potential to cultivate or uphold an industry unfavourable to women and non-binary individuals manifests in software engineering education at the university level. For this purpose, the study includes surveys and interviews. We use gender name perception as a survey instrument, and the results show small differences in perceptions of software engineering students based on their gender. Particularly, the survey respondents anchor the values of the male software engineer (Hans) to a variety of technical and non-technical skills, while the same description for a female software engineer (Hanna) is anchored mainly by her managerial skills. With interviews with women and non-binary students, we gain insight on the main barriers to their sense of ambient belonging. The collected data shows that some known barriers from the literature such as tokenism, and stereotype threat, do still exist. However, we find positive factors such as role models and encouragement that strengthen the sense of belonging among these students. © 2024 Copyright held by the owner/author(s).

Pneumonia, an inflammatory lung disease, impacts the small air sacs known as alveoli and is typically caused by the bacteria Streptococcus pneumonia. Symptoms commonly include a combination of productive or dry cough, chest pains, difficulty breathing, and fever. In India, where Covid-19 is prevalent, community-acquired pneumonia (CAP) poses a significant risk factor for mortality, accounting for one-third of fatalities, as reported by the World Health Organization (WHO).Diagnosing and predicting the outcome of pneumonia typically involves examining chest imaging radiographs of patients exhibiting clinically similar symptoms (e.g., fever, dyspnea, cough, and sputum production). Therefore, the development of an automated method for pneumonia detection could offer valuable advantages, particularly in remote regions, facilitating prompt treatment. Deep learning (DL) models enable the analysis of various chest radiographs, with Convolutional Neural Networks (CNNs) receiving considerable attention in disease classification. Liver tumors rank as the third deadliest cancer globally and the sixth most prevalent disease worldwide. They primarily afflict individuals who frequently consume tobacco or alcohol. Approximately 75-85 percent of primary liver cancer cases are attributed to these factors. However, manually diagnosing liver tumors presents significant challenges due to tumor heterogeneity, varying shapes and sizes, imaging artifacts, and limited annotated data. The critical task of segmenting liver tumors in medical images greatly impacts diagnosis and treatment planning. Numerous techniques and frameworks have been formulated for the early identification of tumors, improving accuracy, and aiding doctors in understanding tumor characteristics such as size and volume. Nevertheless, this process is error-prone and cumbersome. To address these challenges, a proper model is needed to identify the tumor and used for real-time image processing. This paper motivates to develop a system and assists doctors in swiftly identifying and segmenting tumors from images, providing an approximation of tumor size and stage for more precise treatment. Manual diagnosis is challenging, but advanced DL methods like TransUNet help with early detection and tumor segmentation, assisting doctors in providing timely and accurate treatment. © 2024 IEEE.

This research paper explores the design and implementation of an event-driven monitoring system for Wi-Fi6 Access Points (APs) using Java-based microservices architecture. WiFi 6's primary advantage over other standards is that it provides maximum speed and accessibility in congested networks. The system aims to enhance network management capabilities by leveraging real-time event processing and Kafka messaging infrastructure. Key components include event listeners for capturing Quality of Experience (QoE) and Trap events via Kafka topics from APs, microservices for event processing, and Kafka topics for inter-service communication. The paper discusses the architecture, functionality, and integration of each component, as well as the system's ability to identify and handle various event types, such as ap-info and user reports. Additionally, the paper addresses error handling mechanisms and debugging practices for events with undefined syntax. Overall, the research contributes to the advancement of network monitoring solutions through the utilization of microservices and events-driven architectures. © 2024 IEEE.

This study proposes a convolution-free transformer-based method for generating accurate descriptions of images. A Vision Transformer is utilized as the primary encoder, replacing traditional CNN, and a Meshed Memory Transformer is integrated for generating captions. The Vision Transformer splits images into fixed-size patches for extracting visual features, which are further processed by a memory-augmented encoder to integrate prior knowledge. It ensures key features are preserved and reused and the meshed decoder combines the text embedding with the outputs from each encoding layer to generate more contextually rich and accurate captions compared to conventional approaches. The model's performance is evaluated on the Flickr30K and the MSCOCO datasets, demonstrating that the Meshed Memory architecture in our approach improves both the image encoding and caption generation step. Our model outperforms the conventional 'CNN-LSTM' models and 'CNN-Transformer' methods, achieving a 1.02% improvement in METEOR and 1.31% in SPICE on the MSCOCO dataset. Additionally, on the Flickr30k dataset, our approach exhibits superior performance across most metrics, notably a 6.37% increase in the METEOR score. © 2024 IEEE.
